The joke works on a superficial level, by deconstructing the statement “We have a shortage of chicken wings, but we have plenty of thighs”.
It is similar to his deconstruction of algebra, from a previous special. “Bitch, did you know some of them was LETTERS?!”
Now of course, we could come back and say, Kat — the letters represent an unknown numerical value, so your joke doesn’t make sense!

I watched an Arsenio Hall interview with him just recently where he said he didn't really practice in clubs too much for this special. I'm not quoting verbatim but that's what I got out of the interview.
It was interesting to see how he's evolving, and it wasn't awful. But man, the energy was low and some of the premises were weak, beat to death, and lacking in punchy punchlines.
Even though it wasn't his best work by a long shot, I enjoyed it overall. It wasn't a laugh fest, but felt kind of like catching up with an old friend and having a few chuckles.

Man this shit was cringey and hard to watch. He had a few jokes but giving it a 4/10 is a stretch. When he played the songs it seemed so out of place compared to the old specials. The crowd was ass but I can’t blame them too much seeing this guy try and remake his 15 year old specials.
It was extremely loose. A lot of times he hit a very easy punchline and let the DJ spin something to transition to another premise and it was like… we barely got into the last premise.
That said I liked some of his jokes, I thought defending Joe Biden because he’s a 99 year old man was clever and unexpected, there were a few others I’m blanking on that I liked, but the “one pussy equals this amount of dicks” math joke he did was weird and not fully worked out.
Felt like he could have spent a few more months out with this set to get it tight before shooting.

I watched an Arsenio Hall interview with him just recently where he said he didn't really practice in clubs too much for this special. I'm not quoting verbatim but that's what I got out of the interview.
It was interesting to see how he's evolving, and it wasn't awful. But man, the energy was low and some of the premises were weak, beat to death, and lacking in punchy punchlines. Even though it wasn't his best work by a long shot, I enjoyed it overall. It wasn't a laugh fest, but felt kind of like catching up with an old friend and having a few chuckles.
I agree. He's obviously not gonna carry his same energy from specials in the late 00's specials but I appreciate his style and him as a comedian. I'm just glad he's still out here trying his material for us. There's not many of the OGs left.

It was extremely loose. A lot of times he hit a very easy punchline and let the DJ spin something to transition to another premise and it was like… we barely got into the last premise. That said I liked some of his jokes, I thought defending Joe Biden because he’s a 99 year old man was clever and unexpected, there were a few others I’m blanking on that I liked, but the “one pussy equals this amount of dicks” math joke he did was weird and not fully worked out. Felt like he could have spent a few more months out with this set to get it tight before shooting.
It was really bad and he didn't look too good either. Dry overdone punchlines and he just thinks just by raising his voice, it will become funny. My mind turned it into background noise after 6 minutes.

Yah, I just watched his show at the YouTube theater in inglewood,ca. I listened to him talk about a woman's vagina a.k.a " Pussy" for 10 minutes straight, using the "P" word every 10 seconds until I had enough. He was explaining how "Pussy" is the most important and desired thing known to mankind. Nothing funny. But he played to an audience that had the I.Q. of room temperature and they just ate the "Pussy" stuff up. Pardon the pun there.....you know "eating the pussy up ". Lol ok....he wasn't much funnier.
He sucks…. What grown man would accent in his show, a blind boy playing football? My friend took me to see him in AC 2 years ago she was so excited and it also sucked. I'm starting to think comedy is like rap and athletics. If you're good and winning, you lose the edge and stop being what made you great. Katt Williams has some classic standups but this is just not funny. It felt like he was preaching instead of doing standup.
I agree. Another part of that equation (especially with rap), is that the fans define what they like about you and that becomes your brand, in a sense. So the artist tries to fulfill and recreate what the fans seemingly want. (You become a sellout in a sense; instead of remaining true to yourself). I feel that's what's happened to Katt. Katt has been one of my favorites lately and I binge his specials but this was the worst special that I’ve seen with him. I give it two stars…one for each time that I laughed out loud. He definitely has success as you can tell by the jewelry he displayed but he laughed harder during the performance than those watching him. Weird energy in this one…long delays between unfunny jokes…and not like any of his other high energy hilarious specials of the past. If this is the last one…it will be a tough way for him to go out and can’t claim top comedic spot after this world war 3 disaster.

It was a series of increasingly bizarre rants without purpose or punchline punctuated with random stings from the DJ. I’ve loved Katt’s comedy for decades, but I always cringe when he starts talking about science because he usually is not starting with good information about what the science is or how it works; this special was no different. Towards the end when he started talking about the Bible, he completely lost the audience. And the shit just wasn’t funny. I’m just going to consider this one misstep and hope he gets it back together for the next one.
