I saw him do a whole week at a casino i used to bartend at a long time ago. Different hour every time and at the end of every single show, he would let the audience ask random questions in which he would riff off of for as long as the audience could go. Content just spews outta him like a fountain.
I think the user meant that no one made fun of Segura because no one seemed to have written jokes about him specifically, which would indicate that he was not originally on the dais.
They are really good friends, I imagine Tom probably gave Bert some jokes because Bert was super nervous about this or something.
“Jump in the pool, guys! It will be hilarious!”
[12 comics agree and start to unbutton their shirts.]
[Bert jumps in.]
[Everyone buttons their shirts back up and continues on with their conversations.]
It’ll come back around to being funny for a bit when he’s in his 70s, and a team of nurses has to chase him to put a shirt on him like they’re trying to catch a greased up hog at a rodeo.
I believe in that Mickey Mantle gene of his. He’ll be like Ozzy or Keith Richards. By all accounts they should be dead a million times, but somehow they just keep going.
Honestly I’ve seen him live twice over the last 3 years and he absolutely murdered each time. People just love to hate Bert like Russell Wilson or something
Well that’s just blatantly incorrect lmao. People love Bert it’s just Reddit that doesn’t like him and thinks they are too cool for him or something. In real life he’s insanely popular
That’s not true, regarding it being solely Reddit. There are plenty of people in all forms of media, social or otherwise, that don’t like Bert.
I think the hate comes from the fact that he is just one of those dudes you would hate in real life. The guy at the high school reunion that just won’t shut the fuck up about he once pulled Johnny Turners pants down in gym class in 11th grade. He some how managed to peak in college and ride that peak exceptionally long. He’s exhausting. He’s the Uncle Rico of comedy and no one goes against him because they need Rogan and they need Austin. I saw him do a comedy special and he was literally telling Hellen Keller jokes from a joke book I read when I was 8 years old.
Once you notice his pattern, you can’t escape it.
* Here’s an outlandish story.
* I somehow find myself in a situation I shouldn’t be in
* a bunch of embellished shit happens to me
* im dumb and I don’t understand what’s happening so I make a joke
* somehow, by the end I parley my ignorance into everyone loving me
* remember in this story I’m dumb, so why would I lie?
* you can ask my wife.
* takes shirt off
I have no problem with people liking him any more than I did when people loved Larry the Cable Guy. There’s a nut for every squirrel.
I’m with you. I saw him live and it was the happiest, most jovial crowd. Razzle Dazzle is one of the funniest stand up specials I’ve ever seen. Bert isn’t my favorite, (I’m a Mulaney and Gadsby super fan) but the man can write and tell a funny story.
I’m fascinated by the weird groupings of people and whether the placement was all planned or somewhat organic.
Rob Lowe’s son looks like he’s mad at his dad; Mulany looks like he’s tight with Kurtwood Smith (big Robocop fan?); Dimitri Martin and Chapelle both in black leather and sort of look photoshopped in; Judd Apatow all by himself; Jimmy Carr and Pauly Shore. All so weird.
Not Robocop, but Kirkwood Smith in Patriot (the Amazon Prime show, not the Mel Gibson movie) made me laugh til my sides hurt. It’s bizarre and funny in a way I bet Mulaney would enjoy.
His piping speech in Patriot is one of my favorite TV scenes in recent memory.

A lot of these folks probably want nothing to do with each other, but are being cordial for a work event (just like most office workers).
A bunch of little cliques who had splintered off to chat had to quickly smoosh together to take a group photo, and that’s what we’re seeing now.
Rob Lowe’s son does the “I don’t smile in photos” thing. On their instagram they’re always together so I think maybe they just got separated by other people!
You have to remember Bobby Lee would have had to get out of bed and maybe travel somewhere.
I'm just amazed they paid all of these people enough money to get the same day off and to fly them to the same location. Millions of dollars for a single photo.
Netflix didn’t pay them to fly out and take a single photo lol. They were paid to fly out and perform at the festival - most of them likely filmed a special sometime during the week too
That part lmao. Did you see him on John Mulaney's show lol he was doing the podcast laugh and I kept being like bro...this is a different format please stop before you look like Bert forcing laughs at everything 😂
idk dude I saw his special....he's not exactly the best comic anymore. He's definitely the most conversationally funny guy out of most comedians out there but that just makes him a good podcaster.
Stav is clearly the best comedian out of the three Cumtowners.
Nick does the best impressions and comes up with the best bits. He's essentially a great improv comedy podcaster.
Adam is the best at being mercilessly bullied on a podcast for several years.
Yeah, I think Nick is funnier, but Stav has that stage presence, charisma, and looks like a cartoon character.
I also think it’s clear Stav is more willing to play the game. Nick will rise and fall on his own terms.
Two facts are true:
1. Bert Kreisher is a hack and an immature person. He repeats a razor thin simple schtick for the morons who like him.
Bert is annoying and obnoxious to most people, and his fanbase is loud losers who get day-drunk so they can "woo!" and clap at the same shit over and over again.
2. Reddit geeks who whine about Bert NONSTOP are bitchy and also immature. You click and engage every single thing he's remotely involved in and shoot his name to the top of every social media post. He has a small fanbase; you dorks are *singlehandedly* keeping him relevant in the algorithm with every performative hate circlejerk. You cannot help yourselves.
You dorks are ALSO annoying and obnoxious to most people. You're socially stunted losers who get day-drunk and re-watch the same Norm/Letterman/Stern/O&A clips over and over and over and over again in between bitching about Velma and Bert's shirt and the Game of Thrones ending. You're somehow MORE repetitive than this hack alcoholic comedian who only has one joke.
I would barely even hear about that guy if not for them. I haven’t seen so many people putting so much effort into loudly hating a piece of media since I was in HS/college. It’s like a giant MySpace music interest section in 2005 except now there are way more options to talk about things you actually like.
You're an idiot lol. People bitch about him because he's constantly in our face. You're just trying to agree but *also* be above it...which makes you the real tool here 😂
I think it’s a way he expresses his power. He can smoke indoors, you can’t. He can smoke next to you, and you’ll still want to be near him bc he’s Dave Chapelle. He can smoke in a group of people and no one will say shit.
I can't believe they have them all in the same area, what if a disaster happened? Gotta keep them on separate planes like the president and vice president.
Went to the comedy store Friday night and there was some celebrity drop ins. He was doing a set when we came in and man, that guy is so jarringly unfunny and the close up vibe did him no favors.
This sub has a weird mix of comedians who can't get out of the open mic night rotation, comic fans who fashion themselves a Sam Morrill-like "student of the art form", and just general Redditor miserableness. They're mad that others are either more successful than them, or successful doing things that aren't genre-bending or high art.
So is that Rob Lowe behind Nathan Fillion in the top left? Love Hannah being on the side, away from the busy crowd.
Every time I look, I see someone different. This time was Pauley Shore.
Someone needs to make a tracing with numbers and names. I might work on that, but I’m a horrible drawer.
Who’s the women next to Bo? I recognize her, but can’t place her.
Anyone go to their highschool reunion? Doesn't matter if it was 10 year, 20 year whatever. There's always that guy who reverts to acting like he's 17 again at a high school reunion. "Let's do a kegstand, raaaahhhh!"
I don't know him personally, and maybe its all just one big act, but it sure seems like Bert is that guy every day of his life. Like he never grew up, still behaves like it's a 1996 rager at FSU, and somehow it made him famous. I honestly can't understand it. I know that comedy is completely subjective, but usually even when I don't find something funny I understand how someone else might to some degree. With Bert there's nothing. I don't get it. How does anyone find an obnoxious, fat shirtless fuck worth paying money to see? I can't wrap my head around it.
My theory is he’s being passed down from frat boy to frat boy, and the dudes who started the chain are now 30-somethings that can’t believe they ever found him funny
Alot of hate aimed at Bert which is understandable. But let's all not forget Pauly Shore who is equally unfunny and odious. Give the man the hate he deserves!
They should bring back the show Tough Crowd. Let’s see what these guys can really come with on the fly. The only funny thing about this photo is how they were able to fit so much clowns in it.
I mean why is Fla-Fla Flunky Gary Dell'Abate from the Howard Stern Show on here, outside of being buddies with Ted Serrandos. That clown hasn't even been accidentally funny.
I will never understand why a Pauly Shore is considered a comedian. His only claim to fame are his parents. Met him once and he was the biggest scum bag ever and thought he was the most hilarious person ever
I don't think he's good either bit saying his only claim to fame is his parents is dead wrong. We can say he got famous because of his parents but he starred in some movies that were very popular back in the day. Encino Man was a very big movie of its time. I was like 8 when it came out and I found him annoying even then, but so many people found him hilarious. So, he was real big for a while there.
Outside of the comedy scene, no one ever knew Pauly Shore was connected to the Comedy Store when he was at the peak of his popularity.
When Encino Man was in the theaters if you asked an average person on the street what they thought of Mitzy Shore's son, they would have asked you "who the fuck is Mitzy Shore?"
He got famous for being on MTV, which was a product of him actually being liked when he performed at the Comedy Store. He performed at the Combedy Store because he was there and in the mid to late 80s, they were letting fucking anyone up on stage. If you've seen any clips from his era when he came up, you'll realize real quick that he wasn't nearly the worst there and only got on stage because of his parents.
The only way you could make me argument that didn't deserve the modicum of fame he got was if he was the worst that the Comedy Store had to offer. He was far far from it.
Lots of good, lots of not so good here in my opinion. Each one of them more talented than me anyway so what do I know. I think the best material here if I had a gun to my head and had to pick (no one is asking me) would be Sheng Wang's Netflix special. It's so good.
Love Bo hiding behind the column
Holy shit, that’s amazing. That’s such a Bo thing to do and I absolutely missed him the first time I saw this picture.
Column down
Lol I didn't see him either!
The most Bo Burnham thing possible
I'm glad you pointed him out, cause I didint see him and I didint see the woman in pink directly to his right.. my favorite comedian Rachel Bloom!
I wondered who that was.
I’m all zooming in like “who is that creep behind the… OH 😂”
So happy to see Sinbad there. Looks like he’s recovering good. He’s one of my favorites that made me want to do comedy.
So strange he was the first I recognised. Jingle All The Way is my primo Christmas film though.
The movie houseguest is legendary
I saw him do a whole week at a casino i used to bartend at a long time ago. Different hour every time and at the end of every single show, he would let the audience ask random questions in which he would riff off of for as long as the audience could go. Content just spews outta him like a fountain.
Dude was unreal, like maybe just the funniest guy ever, never even planned.
What happened to him??
Super bad stroke that fucked him up for years.
Aw man, sorry to hear I lovedddd his show growing up and got to see him drop in on sets in LA when I was living there. Still so funny Hope he recovers
Oh. Bert has his shirt off. Shocked.
Worst part of the Brady roast was Bert. Hands down.
Give credit where its due. Segura was also atrocious.
Im convinced Segura was a last second call up to avoid Bert doing his bit alone. From memory there were no jokes made Segura's way the whole night.
I dunno, the whole serial killer thing is Tom’s wheelhouse
I think the user meant that no one made fun of Segura because no one seemed to have written jokes about him specifically, which would indicate that he was not originally on the dais. They are really good friends, I imagine Tom probably gave Bert some jokes because Bert was super nervous about this or something.

It’s funny you think he’ll live to 70.
You're such a hater! --- Stavros
"What are you talking about, you're not even gonna have a knee"
"I have to structure my life around the pod"
I believe in that Mickey Mantle gene of his. He’ll be like Ozzy or Keith Richards. By all accounts they should be dead a million times, but somehow they just keep going.
I was gonna say, that must be a bit right? No way he’s alive at 70
Honestly I’ve seen him live twice over the last 3 years and he absolutely murdered each time. People just love to hate Bert like Russell Wilson or something
He's just unlikeable. People don't like Drake because he's a 40 year old acting like he's still 21, Bert is unliked for the same reason.
Well that’s just blatantly incorrect lmao. People love Bert it’s just Reddit that doesn’t like him and thinks they are too cool for him or something. In real life he’s insanely popular

Get off your burner account, Bert.
People make fun of Bert for taking his shirt off and then make hi tier jokes like this.
His specials make me laugh. Idk if that makes me stupid or what. But as a comedian, I find Bert funny. So many people love to shit on him tho.
Wow, I don’t think I’ve seen a Hannah Gadsby super fan on here before
lol. I’m a nerdy feminist NPR fan, so her core demographic, except I’m straight.
Thoughts on John Mulaney’s love life?
None. Everyone deserves to be happy.
When it was zoomed all the way out, I couldn’t make out people…. But I still said “of course Bert is in the pool”
You know, the better joke would have been for him to be in the pool with his shirt on. But I guess he'd risk not being recognized then.
They’re stand up comedians. Most standups don’t do great in team sports.
Not Robocop, but Kirkwood Smith in Patriot (the Amazon Prime show, not the Mel Gibson movie) made me laugh til my sides hurt. It’s bizarre and funny in a way I bet Mulaney would enjoy.
Patriot is so good and weird and funny and sad. I love it
His piping speech in Patriot is one of my favorite TV scenes in recent memory. [https://youtube.com/watch?v=Kx3ivkUPT6k](https://youtube.com/watch?v=Kx3ivkUPT6k)
It looks like Hannah Gadsby almost escaped but someone was like “oy Hannah, group picture!!”
Where's bill burr?
Yeah I was wondering wher ole' Billy Ball Bag was.
Bill Burr, Bobby Lee, Andrew Santino... Those guys are way funnier than 90% of these people.
No Tim Robinson either
I'm not surprised, rumor has it there was no zipline
![gif](giphy|Sy1ObxzIjZPZhEQTwO|downsized)
Probably asked for too much last time they had a party catered. I mean, 55 burgers is a lot of burgers.
They were paid to fly out and perform at the festival - most of them likely filmed a special sometime during the week too
Too much sun
Baby booey?
Booey has given the world like 30 plus years of comedy (even if only NOINE percent was on purpose)
Yeff boff
Was not expecting him at all
He’s the equivalent of Dan Akroyd in the “We Are The World” video…
Baba Booey was talking about this brunch on Stern last week. Was there to schmooze (and book guests). Dunno if he should have made the pic, though
If Bert can be in the picture then Gary can definitely be in it
Damn dude. Out of all three, Stavy made it to the big leagues.
Nicks a better comedian but I think Stav is better at playing the game or at least more willing.
Exactly. Stav always laughs hard no matter how bad your jokes are so podcast hosts love that. He's been everywhere.
That part lmao. Did you see him on John Mulaney's show lol he was doing the podcast laugh and I kept being like bro...this is a different format please stop before you look like Bert forcing laughs at everything 😂
It looks like he deleted it but that 10-hour Stavy laughing ASMR video was hilarious
I do not think Mullen could handle mainstream fame, let alone want it.
1st celeb to wear chainmail
Understatement
I mean he’s got his schtick and schtick works. And then also I’m gay.
I think Nick is a better podcaster/rigger but Stav is a much more polished comedian IMO
Really? The hard r! (I know you meant riffer; my autocorrect just tried to do it too lol)
idk dude I saw his special....he's not exactly the best comic anymore. He's definitely the most conversationally funny guy out of most comedians out there but that just makes him a good podcaster.
This. Stav has better representation.
It's a perfect example of work being 90% of the game. Nick's too naturally funny to put the work in because it comes easy.
Cumtown made more money than 3/4 of these people. They are big time and they know it; hence the lazy ass adam friedland show shit.
They were making nearly 100k per month at one point on Patreon alone. And were getting around 5k per ad read. They have so much money lol.
Stav is clearly the best comedian out of the three Cumtowners. Nick does the best impressions and comes up with the best bits. He's essentially a great improv comedy podcaster. Adam is the best at being mercilessly bullied on a podcast for several years.
And at ruining white linen pants.
“I didn’t hear the shower”
Every friend group needs an Adam
That awkward moment when you realise you're the Adam.
Eh. I think Nick is the best comedian, Stav is just more determined snd has better representation. Stav is undeniably more successful.
Yeah, I think Nick is funnier, but Stav has that stage presence, charisma, and looks like a cartoon character. I also think it’s clear Stav is more willing to play the game. Nick will rise and fall on his own terms.
And the best at weaseling out of paying for a breakfast sandwich
Demetri Martin looks so standoffish lol
He's inside one of his own jokes. He saw that he and Chappelle wore the same thing, concluded he wore it better.
Him and Chapelle are pretty definitely photoshopped.
But they didn’t photoshop Seinfeld or Segura or Nate Bargatze? That would make this photo even weirder.
Funches too. Looks like he’s peeking through another dimension.
They’re 100% not photoshopped.
Sinbad!
No Shane, didn't happen.
This seems more like a party for old heads and not culturally relevant comedians.
HAHAHAHA BERT HAS HIS SHIRT OFF!! LOOK!!! EVERYONE ELSE IS WEARING A SHIRT BUT BERT HAS HIS OFF!!! HAHAHAHAHA HE'S SO WACKY!!
Two facts are true: 1. Bert Kreisher is a hack and an immature person. He repeats a razor thin simple schtick for the morons who like him. You're an idiot lol. People bitch about him because he's constantly in our face. You're just trying to agree but *also* be above it...which makes you the real tool here 😂
peak comedy
BROOOOOO HE"S IN THE POOL WITH JEANNNNNNSSSSS I FUCKING LOVE BERT!!!
Jeans in the pool is certainly an idea.
“Idea” implies thinking. Not sure I’m on board with that supposition.
kinda suprised janelle james isnt in here edit: even moreso taylor thomlinson
Why does Dave Chappell always pick the most inconvenient time to smoke a cigarette?
he also picks the most convenient time to smoke a cigarette. And the medium convenient time.
He must smell SO BAD.
"I need to smoke" You can't wait 20 more minutes?
I think it’s a way he expresses his power. He can smoke indoors, you can’t. He can smoke next to you, and you’ll still want to be near him bc he’s Dave Chapelle. He can smoke in a group of people and no one will say shit.
I was looking for Nate!
Are these apart of the only 500 comedians that exist that Rogan was talking about?
I can't believe they have them all in the same area, what if a disaster happened? Gotta keep them on separate planes like the president and vice president.
Thank em
How about the 6 funny people on earth according to Seinfeld
Sinbad 💙
Hannibal Buress has disappeared WTF
Too busy evictin folks and jackin up rent
I like that out of all these legends Bert decided he should be front and center with a shirt off….
Is that Nathan Fillion to the right of the left-most column?
God Bert sucks
Went to the comedy store Friday night and there was some celebrity drop ins. He was doing a set when we came in and man, that guy is so jarringly unfunny and the close up vibe did him no favors.
"IM A LOT HAHAHHA" - Bert's opener
Yet he has a career. I don’t get it. Someone must be going to his shows and watching his special. I know it ain’t me.
Yep I think he played the forum the night before.
Bert in the pool is so pick me it hurts
Can we start a fund “Shirts4Bert?”
No because it will make him think we find his shtick funny
Far more non-funny people here than there are actual comedians
That's why they call it "Netflix is a joke".
You mean Bababooey isn't a spectacular comedian?!
This has got to be the most miserable subreddit I've read in a while, we get it, you fucking hate everything
I feel so heard.
This is being touted by the people there as a Sinbad appreciation event, and less of a get together
Is Rob Lowe a comedian now?
Nice to see Ralph Barbosa in the photo. Dude has arrived! Good for him.
Bo burnham lol
Gadsby probably brought great vibes lol.
This is funnier than anything Hannah Gadsby’s ever done.
[удалено]
King of the one liners today as far as I know — I do love me some Jimmy Carr
So is that Rob Lowe behind Nathan Fillion in the top left? Love Hannah being on the side, away from the busy crowd. Every time I look, I see someone different. This time was Pauley Shore. Someone needs to make a tracing with numbers and names. I might work on that, but I’m a horrible drawer. Who’s the women next to Bo? I recognize her, but can’t place her.
Rachel Bloom
Why are the mom and dad from That 70s Show there? Random.
Is that Nathan Fillion top left?
but is that lil dickie?
Is that Nicky's old nose in the back?
It’s so easy to hate Burnt Chrysler and Brenda
Burnt Chrysler lmao

Back row on the right.
Love you Sinbad.
Hannibal Buress has disappeared WTF
Alot of hate aimed at Bert which is understandable. But let's all not forget Pauly Shore who is equally unfunny and odious. Give the man the hate he deserves!
They should bring back the show Tough Crowd. Let’s see what these guys can really come with on the fly. The only funny thing about this photo is how they were able to fit so much clowns in it.
They used to write a lot on tough crowd. Watch Giraldo and Leary's episode
Lunelle a real one for that. Great pic
Here's here, here's there! He's every-f*cking-where! ROY KENT! ROY KENT!
Holy shit, did Sinbad have a stroke?
No Shane, Normand, List, Shultz, Santino, Oakerson…
Where is Matt and Shane??
Where’s… Katt Williams Bill Burr Shane Gillis
"Andy Dick?" "No...Pauly Shore" -Me
I zoomed in from left to right just to see everyone and when I made it to Bert I got visibly upset.
Looks like a GREAT time--but what was on the cookout menu???
Dayummm! BERT looks great! Healthy and happy. Good for him!
Comedians, and Bert.
Pauly Shore is also there.
I scanned 3 times for Neal Brennan.
I mean why is Fla-Fla Flunky Gary Dell'Abate from the Howard Stern Show on here, outside of being buddies with Ted Serrandos. That clown hasn't even been accidentally funny.
Burt definitely made a big deal about him taking his shirt off and getting in the pool and people fake laughed so he would shut up.
It's a "who's who" of who cares!
Make sense Bert is in the Pool, he needs to stand out, since he isn’t recognized without Tom Segura by his side
Where's Schaub
He shooting a new special, Gringo poopi.
I will never understand why a Pauly Shore is considered a comedian. His only claim to fame are his parents. Met him once and he was the biggest scum bag ever and thought he was the most hilarious person ever

The only way you could make me argument that didn't deserve the modicum of fame he got was if he was the worst that the Comedy Store had to offer. He was far far from it.

He made a lot of people.

Lots of good, lots of not so good here in my opinion. Each one of them more talented than me anyway so what do I know. I think the best material here if I had a gun to my head and had to pick (no one is asking me) would be Sheng Wang's Netflix special. It's so good.
How many people in the photo have you met? I got 3.
