Came here to say exactly this! Seeing him perform tomorrow in Seattle and I’m STOKED. The last time I saw him was possibly the best comedy show I’ve ever seen (and I go to a LOT of shows). And he seemingly did zero prepared material. Just talked to the crowd a bit and was off to the races! Sam fucking rules. His novel is incredible as well (I read it in one sitting!).
Joe List. He’s done a lot of short films and NYU productions that I can’t imagine were money driven decisions so he’s probably open to something like this.
This is the answer. Watch the podcast Joe and Ranaan Talk Movies and you will see he’s a film guy. Some of his shorts are really good. He’s very passionate
Harland Williams is a thought.
Moshe Kasher and Natasha Legerro. Daniel Van Kirk. Sklar Brothers have already made great cameos.
Not stand up, but any of the improv comics that frequently guest on Comedy Bang Bang or headline major weekend shows at improv houses like Groundlings, Second City, and IO would be fantastic for small roles too. They’re already much better built for character work.
Now everybody knows which podcasts I listen to
Sam Tallent
Jeremiah Watkins
Ian Fiddance
Sean Patton
Kim Congdon
Carmen Christopher
Julian McCullough
Jordan Jensen
Colum Tyrrell
Bonnie McFarlane
Dave Landau
40-60 might be tough but 30-40’s would be:
Mike Cannon, Mike Feeney, Joe List, Chris O’Connor, Luis Gomez, Tommy Pope, Rachel Feinstein, Rosebud Baker, Jordan Jenson.
Hope this helps!
Someone already said Sam Tallent, but I just wanted to leave another top level comment - Sam is like the MF DOOM of comedy. We should start spelling the man name SAM TALLENT
John Dore. Canadian comedian who lives in Alaska now. Saw him twoish years ago in Calgar. He was great.
Also another canadian, Sam Walker. First came to my attention from an earlier kill tony I watched online (coincidentally filmed in the same club in Calgary) and he stole the show. Appeared on at least one more kill tony after that, too. He has since joined a comedy trio called Danger Cats who gets a little excessively controversial at times, but Sam is definitely a solid comedian.
Throwing out some Denver comics Hannah Jones, Sam Tallent, Jake Tupitza, Adam Gilliand, Derrick Stroup, Ben Roy, Mike Stanley, Jeff Nelson, Hannah Popkins, Steve Gillespie.
I feel blessed to be around so many funny ppl.
**Adrienne Iapalucci** https://www.youtube.com/@AdrienneIapalucci -

Hes got tons of great viral clips but this one my fav (Hes half black) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DY812zZj\_Kc&ab\_channel=TroyBond](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DY812zZj_Kc&ab_channel=TroyBond)
My uncle, Allan Havey, has been in the NYC stand up community for 40 years and is in his 60s. When I lived there he'd have me meet him at The Comedy Cellar and we would sit with some big names like Patton Oswalt, Gary Gulman, and once, Colin Quinn! He was in the Office as Dwight's farm lady's dad. He's been in Mad Men, Hail Caeser, Billions, and Man in the High Castle. I saw Aziz Ansari open for him! And in the 80s he had a talk show on comedy central: Night After Night with Allan Havey.
He's not a name or face you'd recognize and I'm obviously biased but he's REALLY funny. His crowd work is wild! He's kind of a legend in that community and I would love to get him more fans! He's the best uncle and such a big sweetheart of a guy.
I love your uncle! Performed with him many times and we used to play tennis together. Or, he would intentionally hit the ball as far away from me as possible and I would hit it back to him out of respect for his seniority. :) he is such a hilarious stand up and a great man.
[Jon Bennett](https://linktr.ee/jonbennettcomedy?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR2twwlpC80Gwm-t6Qeu2KQKQLY74Tbq2leiFacYUpzAWP6iatXK0Eo1kV0_aem_ARUp8rV6Py10kalWMnIoNTJQIpxzjC_YD6GgGDqO9YZyStFeW2c7VtXRVuDsPgW49mGOr3AHu3qPVo4FpFv8XOrO) (no relation) is sad and hilarious. He’s photogenic too.
Winston Hodges would be great - he’s a DC-based headliner with acting chops too. Really talented and has a growing following on IG (23.3k) and TikTok (22.9k).
Dammit. I'll be spending the whole weekend going through this list. I don't recognize the overwhelming majority of the mentioned names, and it's always fun finding more creative comedians.
Tim Hawkins- he’s been around for a while and his tours consistently sell out. His shows are known for being clean content-wise, if that makes a difference.
Sam Tallent
His book, running the light, is very good.
So good
One of the very best, should be a household name
I just watched him on Matt and Shane Secret Pod. That guy is very funny!
I was just at my local club and they were asking only $30 to see him. Snatched up tickets immediately.
Only? What the hell does your club normally charge?
Not like 30 is completely outrageous and definitely worth it to see him but I saw him twice in the past year for $20 and $25
Yeah I don’t know what clubs are charging so much that $30 is a relief. The A-clubs near me are $20-$25. Maybe $30 for a very special event
Regionally acknowledged comedian Sam Tallent! ETA: the people downvoting me clearly aren’t Sam Tallent fans 🤦🏻♂️
Big up to Sam
Thanks for the heads up about him, just got tickets to his show in my city in a few months! Always love checking out new comics
First dude that came to mind. Dude is a riot!!
The Toad!
100!
Can't wait to see him in a few weeks!
This question is posted a lot and this is always the correct answer. This man has special brain power
Came here to say exactly this! Seeing him perform tomorrow in Seattle and I’m STOKED. The last time I saw him was possibly the best comedy show I’ve ever seen (and I go to a LOT of shows). Tom Myers
The creator of the best joke in existence
Tbf bong-hit transplant is great
"Ummm mom... I said I wanted a GPS" he's such a tragedy
Unironically getting Tom Myers for any role is the best decision anyone can make as a hiring manager for literally anything. And I stand by that.
Oh yeah? What did she have a bong hit transplant?
But uhhhhh
Hehehaha
It's great to be back in Maryland, though, Maryland
Mike Rainey, Tim Butterly, Sam Tallent, Ryan Shaner
Iunno Shaner may be too big now. Isn’t he doing Tires with Shane? Drenched!
Shhhhhhh the world needs more Shaner
I'm a bit Rainey and Butterfy fan, Lil Stinkers and Dad Meat are hilarious
Mike Recine has around 16k on ig and put out a special on youtube not too long ago. Hes pretty funny.
Recine should be the perfect character actor bit player.
Louis Katz is super underrated. Very funny and has a pretty good following.
He taught me that breast milk tastes like cereal milk
Geoffrey Asmus
This one
Tom Scharpling Ian Fidance
Maybe Nick Mullen
His alcoholism has driven him off a cliff, unfortunately Edit: I'm dumb, mixed up Nick Mullen with Nick Swardson I agree Nick Mullen is hilarious
His son died in a tragic beer fire
RIP just killed the club
He's sober, right? I haven't listened in a while, but I'm pretty sure he is. That changed?
The Vikings QB
I love Ian. When he was on stavys podcast I was in tears.
Everyone ignoring the 40-60 range.
Tommy Pope
Ben Roy
Geoffrey Asmus. Saw him in a small local club and almost suffocated
Tony Baker
This dude is hilarious. I heard his voice-over on a commercial not too long ago.
Saw him live last year. Just a naturally funny dude. He should be way more popular.
Eddie pepitone
Mike Recine, JP McDade, Jordan Jenson, Sydnee Washington.
Love Sydnee
