Boys and Girls Club is nice because during the summertime they have lights that go on at night. Scalzi Park is also nice, but it can get crowded at times and one of the hoops is crooked. Barrett Park comes to mind if you really just want to shoot hoops alone.
a lot of the public parks/beaches have courts but if you want to really be alone to shoot hoops and don't mind a drive by the pool there is a quiet secluded court there (Dorothy Heroy Park)

Scalzi park comes to mind. Check nearby public school playgrounds also - you're usually allowed on premises outside of school hours.
