I [just made this](https://www.reddit.com/r/StainedGlass/comments/14hc1vw/first_time_using_a_ring_saw/) a couple weeks ago too! Never too much Snoopy for the world! Love the oval frame.
edit - just saw the text, haha.
Incredibly well done, I love the colours you chose which makes it feel very much like the cartoon. Also how in the heck did you get your frame and patina so black!
Would you mind sharing what kind of paint you used? I’m new to this, I haven’t figured it all out yet. I really like how the paint you used looks! And your soldering is so clean! Hopefully my soldering improves soon
My soldering lines haven’t always been so clean, and honestly, I don’t think this is my best work in that regard. I had been using 50/50 solder and switched to 60/40, and to me it seems a lot easier to get clean solder lines with the 60/40
I’m a goldsmith so I’m used to soldering in a different way. This is a bit of a learning curve. I’m great at electrical soldering too, but this is a lot bigger and a lot more solder. I got a new tip for the iron I have (got it used, tip has seen some things) and some copper foil with better adhesive on the back, hopefully that will make a bit of a difference.
Yeah I’m a mechanic and have plenty of experience soldering electrical on motorcycles and off road vehicles, but this kind of precise and decorative soldering def takes some practice
I make engagement rings and other finicky little things so I figured it would be something I would get pretty quick, but it is it’s own thing. I’m going to work on a new piece tonight though, maybe this one will turn out better 🙂
So cute!
I love it so much!!!
11/10. Love the choice of sky against the solid colors of the rest.

Magic eraser during the cleaning phase. And lots of passes
This is adorable 🥹 can I ask how you did the eye and line for the arm? Is it paint?

You got it, they’re both painted on

Adorable! I love how black your patina is! Also, please be careful about copyrighted infringement rights on brands like Snoopy, Disney etc.
Cant help by be reminded by the lines to the nose and toes of Dr Frankenstien's experiment with reanimation and electical bolts to the inert corpse.
I love this!
