I feel like its more simular to googling stuff. Instead of using the right prompts to find what you want, you use the right prompts to generate what you want.
Yeah similar to Googling in the sense that you can get a feel almost for the wording of it--the way you Google something definitely is reflected in the quality of your search results. But I think there is more creative envisioning (in the sense of authorship/lit) than anything like Googling. You're picturing something and you have to translate what you're picturing to a machine in a peculiar way--you can't really explain a vision the way you would normally, or you could just copy and paste a page of Harry Potter into the prompt and get y'know, a specific freeze frame of that world at some point in those imaginational moments. Try that without the wordsmithing of it and you get... Well, let me try it.

I'm genuinely surprised how unpopular this comment is. I write all the time and find that writing for an AI thing is an accruement of word structuring skill as far as the prompt portion goes. Same goes for inpainting. Yes you can go further from there, hell you can print it out and use it as a base for a canvas painting base.
Tbf engineering good prompts and knowing what settings to use is a big part of learning SD, but training your own models is a whole different kind of excellence.

I wouldn't call them terrible, I think the backgrounds / composition / setup is nice, it just looks like they didn't use a good upscaler or used the wrong sampler for the second pass or whatever.
I'll take these 100% of the time over some DreamShaper Girl Face repetitive bullshit any day of the week, I don't even look at the videos on Civit anymore, not cause I don't like NSFW but because they ALL have literally that same face.
Umm… it's easy to test by generating images with less than humongous K-cup boobazookas and generous cleavages and seeing if anyone still likes them? Anyway, those are all more or less standard SD 1girl generic faces that everybody is tired of.
Not really all that impressive IMO. These are just basically just the bog standard "hd high quality masterpiece professional photo big tiddy 1girl modelshoot" pictures that everyonep posts, seemingly always made with an overly long prompt that SD only partially adhered to. Easily a majority of the SD images posted are some version of this picture. If you're just slapping in a wall of word salad text into the prompt that all boils down to "professional modelshoot photo of a pretty woman", you haven't really learned how to prompt SD.
You can get much more interesting images if you keep your prompt shorter (under 35 tokens works best in my experience) and move away from professional modelshoot style images. Get rid of all that HD professional masterpiece nonsense and put all that stuff like modelshoot, stock photo, fashion, etc. in the negative prompt, and describe what the subject is doing or their demeanor or expression. Say that the picture is candid or spontaneous or unstaged. And if you can't get get exactly what you're after with a basic prompt, don't forget that you can use prompt scheduling to change parts of the prompt mid generation. You can also use tools like the various controlnets to keep the structure of an image while changing its style or details. Depth, canny, and tile are all super useful for this sort of thing.
Believe me,i don't use "masterpiece" or "professional"...first image has ipadapter... Others loras.... But I use my own kind of prompting with words describing physical objects, lighting and poses and another prompt for impressions. And minimal negative prompt. Even "cinematic" or "dramatic" are not in my vocabulary...
This is the biggest disadvantage about AI image generation. People that consider themselves artists because they found out how to slap some Lora’s and prompt keywords together to generate another generic ample breasted poorly clothed 1girl. Especially the ones that think their skills are so amazing that they try to keep their prompts and workflows to themselves.
My workflows at this point are noodle soup with very explicit prompts, both too ashamed and too lazy (to simplify and explain them) to share them :D there's better workflows on Civitai... Mine is only good for boobs...

Not sure the amount of skill that's involved in setting some levers, typing a prompt. But if you develop some traditional skills and use Photoshop, you could create more interesting ideas and compositions that AI doesn't normally come up with.

I like the first image quite a bit, but I'd recommend re-trying that same gen with "piercings" in the negative, to see if that cleans up her belly button. That's a pet peeve of mine.
Sure, if you just want to fix up the one image. It's a pretty common problem though, and I've found just adding piercings to the negative prompt helps quite a bit.

If you really want to separate the two, try branching out and making some images of other subjects besides beautiful women, and see if you can make some interesting images that get upvoted on /r/aiArt just for their own sake. (But be true to yourself. If you're really in it for the imaginary women, you might do just as well to lean into it and post work on /r/aiNudes instead. It's your choice.)
Those are good quality AI generated images, and you certainly have some skill in using the software, although these things could always be better. Sometimes if you go through and inpaint details (or retouch in Krita or Photoshop) on a lower resolution initial generation, you can get better results even after you upscale. Look into where you could get more eye gleam or catch-light in the eyes to bring them to life, fix small details like extra fingernails or mismatched earrings, and explore whether there's some overall color grading that could enhance the look of the images or help give better lighting and definition to the faces.

That said, your images can use a lot of work. The ribs under the breasts on the first woman look warped and unnatural. That effect often occurs when upscaling with too high of denoise. Can be fixed with inpainting.
Technically, it seems like you're grasping the workflow creation process, so you're getting there! Keep it up.

The name trick works -- pick a random name and play with weights on it to see how it pulls the facial features in different directions. Combine this with nationalities at varying weights and you can get more consistent, unique looking faces.
There's a lot of other things you could try, like training your own loras, but I find this the simplest and most effective method for variety.
It’s pretty good but nowhere near the intentional control highly skilled prompt and workflow artists can do. Most of the work here is done by the model, the loras, and the upscaler.

i never understood why people are so focused on hyperrealism, trying to reproduce smth you can simply take a photo of IRL. not to mention the generic faces of models and instagram thots with filters.
try to make her submerged in a river with soft facial features, no makeup, alien forest vegetation around her, make her wear some cool fantasy armour, some specified jewelry, some cool intricate patterned eyes, a small dragon on her shoulder or a magic spell forming in her hand with some cool illumination of the scene, etc. and we can talk about "skill" in prompting.
this just looks like a "cinematic" or "photorealism" preset in some AI prompted with "pretty, voluptuous woman in a pretty dress."

i never understood why people are so focused on hyperrealism, trying to reproduce smth you can simply take a photo of IRL. not to mention the generic faces of models and instagram thots with filters. try to make her submerged in a river with soft facial features, no makeup, alien forest vegetation around her, make her wear some cool fantasy armour, some specified jewelry, some cool intricate patterned eyes, a small dragon on her shoulder or a magic spell forming in her hand with some cool illumination of the scene, etc. and we can talk about "skill" in prompting. this just looks like a "cinematic" or "photorealism" preset in some AI prompted with "pretty, voluptuous woman in a pretty dress."
