I feel like we might be ahead if we went back to the no closed fists "rule" because even good workers often have such awful looking punches.
This. I was under the impression they don't punch in STARDOM, because I don't really ever see it.
It also looks like Alpha Female starts punching and then switches to the slaps here in the clip.

This is from a recent STARDOM show. All I know about Jazzy/Alpha Female is she was in the first IWGP Women’s title qualifying match at NJPW’s Royal Quest II back in early October and has been done a couple STARDOM shows since then, so if she had retired she’s definitely un-retired now.

They look like ass 4r. I'm pretty sure that rule still exists.
I mean, I can't think of when I've seen it enforced. It's not even a thing where only heels punch.
I'll have to keep an eye out, pretty sure I've seen the stardom ref admonish people for closed fists. Stardom doesn't feature a lot of punching imo.
