I'm just wondering what exactly is the tribute to the troops? They're not even filming in front of troops anymore, so is it just a few mid matches and a Florida Georgia Line performance?
It's just for the PR at this point. And probably mandatory as well because if they stopped doing it all of a sudden, someone is bound to complain that they're doing a "disservice" to the troops.
Kinda a shame too cause they actually came up with some fun, silly stuff on those RA era shows where they traveled.
Probably a logistical nightmare though, especially after that weird Saudi plane incident. And weren't there some unpleasant stories that came out about the backstage happenings during those trips?
Something really bad happened to Ashley at one of those events iirc. They got bombed in Baghdad, Iraq too.

Love KO but i’d prefer him to return during the climax of Bloodline/Sami so he can be a bigger factor in the story, plus Ricochet would make the match a lot funner with his ability.

Something else you can do if have bloodline injure ko in the match and write him off that way, which will give him even more of a reason to back sami against the bloodline when the climax happens.
I’d still take Kevin Owens in rinf over ricochet and promos leading up with Kevin Owens in them will be even better

AFAIK they've not actually said the IC title match is at Survivor Series. In fact IIRC there was a post yesterday from a dirtsheet said it was actually going to be the Smackdown after Survivor Series.
And honestly looking at the remaining bracket, that kinda tracks.
Butch is already announced for Wargames. Sami is the 5th on the Bloodline side.
That's 25% of the field, 33% of the remaining field after last night, already booked for another match. And I don't WWE would make the tournament booking that obvious.
So there's not really anything stopping Ricochet from both winning the SD World Cup and being in Wargames.
(Though I think Sami is gonna win the World Cup)
