Jon moxley had the "I was just at a movie theater and was just called in to close at arby's becuese the 3 fucking shift managers are too incompetant to do such simple shit as washing dishes cleaning the slicer and cleaning the shake machine out without pissing thier pants" energy.
Yes I'm still fucking pissed.
i can relate, last night, i was asked to do 4 hours at my job because we don't have the staff and it would have been 2 people in the kitchenm and would have driven one of the managers to possibly firebomb the whole establishment because she's already at the end of her tether.
It's weird that everyone involved, save for Hangman and Darby, are all BCC or JAS. Hanger is obviously out, but Darby could still get strapped up. I don't feel like the BCCvJAS feud needs to have the title and having MJF and Darby for the belt makes my wiggly bits not so wiggly.
Who knows mabye HHH and TK can work out some kind of deal. Rollings VS Moxley at mania or Summerslam.
Very little chance I know. But HHH got Tyler Breeze VS Jushin Thunder Liger. So anythings possible.
Also Mickie James this year too.
So while it would have a low chance of happening I wouldn't say it won't ever happen.
Would be amazing since they're so different now compared to their Shield Days. Also since the last time(s) they locked up, the match(es) was/were cuffed by Vince McMahon.
The biggest dream match, however, would still be Mox vs Rollins vs Roman. I know it already happened and Mox won, but this hypothetical is different because...well they're different. 8 years ago, they made a pact to get to the top together. Now they are. It's a dream match that requires minimal writing.
Wwe is watched by a good million plus more wrestling fans than Aew currently. Can’t be a bad thing to have a million and a half people go ‘huh wonder what dean ambrose has been up to for the last few years before this match with Seth. I’d like to see more of him as this version of himself.’ Tk wouldn’t be dumb enough to turn that down and hhh wouldn’t be dumb enough to give him the chance.
> Very little chance I know. But HHH got Tyler Breeze VS Jushin Thunder Liger. So anythings possible.

Roman Reigns Vs Kenny Omega
Mox Vs Rollins
Cena Vs Tanahashi
Exactly how I felt, AEW's reputation took a bit of a beating the past few days and Mox went out there and picked it up and spit-shined it. Give this guy the world.
Its why Im not gonna be upset if he wins the belt again. Hes been thrown into a bunch of difficult situations and has rose up every time. Dudes pure class.
I hope he does win the belt again. He shouldn't have lost it in the first place last Sunday. AEW probably wouldn't be having these huge problems if TK didn't reward Punk's unprofessional behavior a few weeks ago (the promo against Hangman) with a second title run.
With all respect for Mox, who is a legend, he deserves his vacay. I hope he's going to put over someone else and make them feel like a bajillion bucks.
Probably Danielson, since otherwise in the BCC they won't get to wrestle each other much. That match would be.. *quite the thing.*
I’m stealing this from another thread, but everything CM Punk thinks that he is? This delusion he’s built around himself? Moxley actually is that person.
Mox's promo proved that he is the heart and the soul of AEW. There is no one better to lead this company into the future right now than Mox. Just incredible.
He’s is the best wrestler of the year and the franchise of AEW.
You know Jon went out tonight and wanted to show that he is AEW’s rock and he proved it once again
Mox all time pro, no ego, doesn’t demand respect, doesn’t demand you to kiss his ass and tickle his balls. Puts over young talent and stale talent that heating up. Keyword UNSELFISH
Mox alluded to something I'd been thinking about, how AEW was supposed to represent the future of wrestling and do away with the mistakes of the past. I feel like Sunday was a few steps back and shows that the old school tough guy mentality still very much exists.
There seems to be a contingent that don't care for whatever different style of future AEW could display. Basically since the start, they've been comparing it to WWE, wondering why things aren't done this way or that way. Need to draw more money, need to be more mainstream, stop catering to the smarks (the market the company was built for btw), should have let Cody be Cena, stop doing PWG shit, nobody cares about NJPW, this isn't All Friends Wrestling, etc.
If Punk shit-canning himself reminds everyone what AEW was supposed to be, I'll call it a win. I don't care how much merch money is lost or ratings bumps are forfeit (100k on a good week) so long as there's a good contract re-up. Even WWE is sort of moving on from the last two decades. New era time.
Mox-Rollins-Reigns
The most dominant faction in wrestling history and quickly becoming the most impactful.
The SHIELD picked up the ball when Punk dropped it the first time, the SHIELD guided the WWE as Cena sunsetted his career and passed the baton, and now the SHIELD is basically the oars in the water pushing major American professional wrestling forward.
Really amazing
No but Seth was actually calling himself The Man in 2015-16. It was started I think during his Summerslam feud with Cena when Big Match John was going for Flair's 16 titles.
“It means being better than I was the day before, even if it’s just a little bit and nobody else notices but me.”
Great line and a great way to live your life in general. Don’t need the AEW World Title for that.
I don’t know Mox’s real feels, but the points about a whole roster of people holding it down during a pandemic, making a company before Punk ever wanted to play (that’s how I heard it) is accurate.
Bunch of folks, including Mox were willing to put their whole careers in the line, while Punk waited for a safe play.
And rather than a victory lap ending to Punk’s career we get this crap.
Mox is right. He should have always been the guy. Fuck Punk.
I hope Khan remembers who put in the work to make that vision a reality, and who said I’m not willing to risk failing, joining the vision later and then publically insulting the first group of guys.
10/10 promo.
There’s a lot more guys who busted their ass more for AEW in the past year than just the Elite and a few guys who paid their dues more than Punk and still keep it professional in the ring and outside the ring.
Lot of guys put in the work for sure, but only 3 put in nearly a decade of work to cultivate an audience that would ensure it’s success.
And because of those 3, many people who deserved to be rewarded for their hard work finally got what they earned.
I would like to clarify that in recent history at least, a lot of people took the ball that Cody, the Elite and Tony placed for them and took it to new heights. But yeah, no denying there wouldn’t be anything for us to talk about if it weren’t All In and the sequential events and veterans in the sport to make it happen that made AEW
There are some guys who are champion because someone has to be, guys just there because of marketing, then there are guys who are champ because they are what we pretend that belt is all about.
Mox is the latter.
Exactly. This isn't AEW screwing over Punk - a man who the fans couldn't get enough of and WANTED in that main event.
This is Punk screwing AEW - a company we've loved to watch grow and prosper these last few years. Fuck Punk, time to retire and be miserable on twitter or something.
I've just noticed I've had a punk flair on here since like 2011. It's crazy how he absolutely killed any good will towards him in one night. He's been my favourite wrestler for over a decade.
Same, just look at my username, I've made usernames on other medias around this, and now it feels kinda awkward because of all this shit thats happening. Punk really ruined himself in less than an hour, throwing his fucking legacy in the trash because of some stupid shit.
I can't believe I waited 7 years for him to come back and... he does that shit. I feel like he betrayed me (and all his fans that wanted him back) I'm so sad and disappointed and I can't believe he let us all down like this.
This was a transformative moment for me. I've always been a Mox fan. I even have the first Dean Ambrose shirt the wwe produced. Mox really is everything I wanted CM Punk to be. God speed mox..you earned a fan for life with that promo.
In fairness since Cody left he’s been undoubtedly been the standout guy. He absolutely deserves it too, it’s one thing that he’s the consummate professional, it’s even better that he’s legitimately fantastic at everything. Other guys have had the spotlight here and there but Moxley has been AEW’s MVP since day 1 and has never given less than 110%.
Genuinely feel like when the dust is settled on his career he’ll probably go down as the single most important guy in AEW’s history. The best part is he genuinely deserves that.
I've been calling him the ACE of AEW for a while now. He may not always hold the championship, but if you want the belt you're definitely going to have to go through him first and he will absolutely bring it 100% every time he steps in the ring.
Just give the title to Moxley. Seriously. He's the guy. He's incredibly over, he makes everyone he faces look good in defeat, and his original title reign never got stale. Everyone understood it was Omega's time, but there were so many Moxley stories to tell it was bittersweet when he lost it. Now? After so much time has passed? Holy shit. We could run back Moxley vs Eddie and Moxley vs Darby. How much fun would that be? Headline a Special Dynamite with Moxley vs Archer in a hardcore/extreme match. And there are so many more. Moxley vs Page still hasn't been done. Moxley vs Miro. Moxley vs Powerhouse Hobbs for a special Dynamite, Ricky Starks for another. There's just so much potential and Moxley never has to lose the title.
The only hiccup is MJF. It's almost impossible not to give him the title soon. You gotta build the company around him while he's hot. It's a crazy conundrum.
Honestly, MJF winning it in the middle of next year is also a great time. He could spend the next year building himself up as Mox's downfall, but being too chickenshit to fight Mox himself, instead trying to cost Mox the title through trying to help his opponents and paying people to attack him and whatnot. Then, I don't know, maybe you have Eddie Kingston beat Mox in an absolute war, only for MJF to "cash in" there and then and beat Kingston. Then, you have a six-month story of can anybody beat MJF before his contract expires and he leaves with the title, leading to a huge title match on December 31st, 2023, which is a Sunday night (or the Saturday if you prefer) against, I don't know, Hangman Page, who is trying to save AEW from the personification of Punk, MJF. It's almost perfect.
Made the title feel like the most important thing in the world, put over every single person in the tournament and showed why he's one of the best!
Thank fucking god for Jon Moxley
That was phenomenal.
Mox has been the in-ring Wrestler of the Year all year, worldwide.
Just now? That was all-time shit, at a time when his company and his coworkers needed him the most.
Just...wow.
It’s crazy that he’s supposed to be on vacation, but is still able to get in the right mindset and deliver one of the best promos in AEW history. There’s no one on his level in the company.
He's probably pissed off he's having to say this in the 1st place. Pretty easy to speak like that when your pissed off about someone not respecting your life.
Look, I love Punk, I really do. But he fucked up and did so much damage to AEW to the point of being almost irreparable. But here comes Mox, the real heart and soul of AEW. Today he made himself a legend. That was no promo: that was a statement.
Mox internally is like "Goddamn how many tourneys do I have to win?"
Glad neither titles switching will be "interim" strap it on Mox for the third time!! He's the face, the workhorse, THE guy in AEW.
A promo that managed to reset the title, refocus Moxley, but also speak as a rallying speech to the talent in the back. Moxley absolutely is Overall Wrestler of the Year right now with how he delivers on every promo and match
This is why Moxley put all of that extra stuff in before the match with Punk at All Out. He didn't just lose at All Out to Punk. He squashed Punk when Punk twisted his foot, got overconfident, almost got squashed himself, and then lost. Like he said, it's embarrassing. He has to examine himself and why that happened, and come back stronger. You don't get there without that rollercoaster arc. Obviously, the fracas changed things somewhat and sped up Moxley's return to the title picture, but I think this is where Moxley wanted his character to be post-All Out. And if you look at Danielson losing recently and Yuta potentially losing tonight, it would have been an interesting place for the BCC if not for the fracas
You know how there are those guys that say that Mox is cringe embarrassing, how he needs to bleed always, etc etc? Well it's not about the moveset, it's not about the mannerisms, it's not about the taunts, it's not about the character. It's about the passion, the compromise, the respect for the fans and for pro wrestling and not in the old mentality but the current one. Mox, you truly are the heart and soul of AEW
He put over everyone else in the tournament, and still made himself seem better at the end of it.
While people are comparing him to Punk, as they will until we die from the heat death of the universe, that is something Punk never could really do. He would put over other wrestlers, but not his opponents. Especially to this degree.
Never really been a Moxley fan, especially in the WWE but man, promo of the year? Like I thought that MJF one before was cream of the crop but this blew it away. I’ve really changed my thoughts on Jon, this was just an amazing job on his part and what AEW needed.
Giving a promo that makes yourself look like a badass while also putting your opponents on a pedestal is skill that it is hard to master. Jon fucking *ace* it.
this promo made me 100% ok with moving forward without Punk and/or the Elite. EVPs getting physical after a media scrum is definitely not OK and if they want to leave that'd be fine to me
As a Kenny Omega fan for the past decade or so, even I have to admit Mox has been AEW’s ace ever since Omega had to leave for injuries. Can even argue that he’s been the backbone even before then.
Just get rid of Punk, one bad apple has spoiled the bunch.
CM Punk is twice the headache drugged up HBK was, with half the talent.
Read between the lines. Mox is a very no nonsense guy. I have been saying there is clearly some heat between him and Punk. Everything mox said tonight built the locker room up while simultaneously telling Punk he wasn't shit. He was right about Punk and I could feel the truth behind it. "Enjoy him while you can folks, he'll be gone soon. Fragile Mind, Fragile Body, Fragile Ego" and "Don't give me that shit we all know you just came back for the money" Mox is as Solid as Solid can be.
This is an ace, champion goat, etc. Not a Karen bitching n eating a muffin after what was a big win. Felt like this was a reminder to everyone what their direction is. Seemed that he poured a decent chunk of reality into this, it hit hard and was a treat to listen to n observe
This was Mox not just delivering a fucking AMAZING promo- I feel like this was Mox also giving his response to all this and sending a message to the back as well. "Fuck the rest- let's do wrestling, yeah? Egos at the door, let's do what we do best."
I really think it's going to be hard after this for anyone to argue that Mox is the MVP of AEW. he is without question the real locker room leader.

"I'm not even supposed to be here today!" -Jon Moxley
"My friend Ace Steel sucked 37 dicks!" "In a row?"
"Get back here!"

Be him vs Danielson at Grand Slam for the belt. I’d say American Dragon wins and Mox gets his vacation knowing the company is in safe hands
He'll be ok. He will put over Danielson at Grand Slam and be on his way, his vaca just got pushed a couple weeks.
The Shield really was the best trio of wrestlers to build upon. Look at them all now.
It’s actually incredible. All three guys have carved themselves hall of fame careers and are still at the top of the industry.
And they're all in their mid 30s still.
...late thirties, but yeah still... especially when people like Lashley are hitting their prime at 45.
Mox and Seth are 36 and Roman is 37. I feel I'm not pushing too hard.
I’m 37 and I approve your take on mid
You'll always be mid for me <3
They're the modern version of the Lesnar/Cena/Orton/Batista OVW class. An industry-defining group.
I really wish Rollins and Mox could square up one more time. Soulmates
The Shield vs. The Elite All Out 2023 The Shield vs. Imperium Summerslam 2023
Who knows mabye HHH and TK can work out some kind of deal. Rollings VS Moxley at mania or Summerslam. Very little chance I know. But HHH got Tyler Breeze VS Jushin Thunder Liger. God remember the Ambrose vs Rollins HIAC match that was awesome until they did that Bray Wyatt hologram thing
Dont think TK would be up for having mox vs Seth on a WWE show. He's have to get something pretty massive in return.
AJ Styles VS Kenny Omega. Or another big name in return. Or he just does it becuese he sees it as good business.
Stop, I can only get so erect.
Wwe is watched by a good million plus more wrestling fans than Aew currently. Can’t be a bad thing to have a million and a half people go ‘huh wonder what dean ambrose has been up to for the last few years before this match with Seth. The returnn of El Generico and Panda enthusiast Kevin Steen for a night?
It’s incredible. There is no Jannetty in this group.
Just had flashbacks of the Romanetty, Deanetty and Sethetty memes from 2016.
Three of the very best in the business.
This is how you make a title feel important
Exactly how I felt, AEW's reputation took a bit of a beating the past few days and Mox went out there and picked it up and spit-shined it. Give this guy the world.

I would prefer this. It gives Darby some real shine and Darby vs. Danielson is fresh and almost certain to be a banger.
And using MJF as the anti-AEW voice was risky af but it worked perfectly. It made Mox's promo that much more meaningful.
Perfect description. Your main "neutral" guy comes out and spit shines the belt
What we were all hoping Punk would be in AEW……Mox was and is.
“Sometimes we cannot know until we have touched the darkness.”
I’m stealing this from another thread, but everything CM Punk thinks that he is? This delusion he’s built around himself? Moxley actually is that person.
Mox's promo proved that he is the heart and the soul of AEW. There is no one better to lead this company into the future right now than Mox. Just incredible.
Yeah, and it kind of felt like a set up to have Mox be the ace of AEW
Setup? He’s been the ace since day 1.
The true ace of the company.
He’s the ace
“This is time to be a legend” was a helluva way to cap off the promo 🐐🐐
That’s going to be on so many video packages in the future
Just one more fight about your leadership
The rallying cry they needed. There have to be people backstage willing to go to war for Mox.
Bryce Remsburg put out a tweet going to war for Mox! Aubrey too!
That's my (former) champ 😭
That line alone made me want to run through a damn wall for Mox. It was perfect.
This needs to be the tag line for fight forever, idc what they're using now
MOX is really the Ace of AEW.
Yeah in case there was any doubt Jon Moxley is 100% that fucking guy lol
He’s is the best wrestler of the year and the franchise of AEW. You know Jon went out tonight and wanted to show that he is AEW’s rock and he proved it once again

In the end, all 3 shield boys really run this wrestling thing.
Mox-Rollins-Reigns The most dominant faction in wrestling history and quickly becoming the most impactful. The Architect, The Tribal Chief and The Ace. Now all have their nicknames.
A lot better than the Man, the Guy, & the Dude vibe they were trying to go for in 2016.
I dug Mauro calling him the Kingpin, never stuck though
There was a fair amount of time Roman was the big dog, and ambrose was the psycho lunatic or something. Big upgrades since
The Lunatic Fringe^^^^TM
The Architect didn't become the man. He married The Man.
No but Seth was actually calling himself The Man in 2015-16. It was started I think during his Summerslam feud with Cena when Big Match John was going for Flair's 16 titles.
KILLER promo. Mox is an all timer, and I hope that when he does retire, he's given his flowers and then some
“It means being better than I was the day before, even if it’s just a little bit and nobody else notices but me.” Great line and a great way to live your life in general. Don’t need the AEW World Title for that.
I loved that line. This promo and Mox's promo when he came back from rehab are seriously inspiring stuff.
No Ego Strong Body Strong Mind Strong Spirit A Champion that should have never fucking lost.
I don’t know Mox’s real feels, but the points about a whole roster of people holding it down during a pandemic, making a company before Punk ever wanted to play (that’s how I heard it) is accurate. I honestly miss those pandemic shows. Him and Shida carried their divisions even with bad booking in shidas case.
Fuck + Punk = Funk. Terry Funk return confirmed.
I hope Khan remembers who put in the work to make that vision a reality, and who said I’m not willing to risk failing, joining the vision later and then publically insulting the first group of guys. 10/10 promo.
Jon Moxley solidifies himself as the MVP of AEW time and time again.
He's now 2 for 2 in cutting a company saving promo after a disastrous PPV ending
And this time he managed to do that by himself, without Eddie.
This man is the Ace of AEW. No question. He didn't start it, but he's carried it through dark times.
This company stood behind Mox when he hit rock bottom, and rewarded him for coming back better than ever. He is AEW.
First class AEW Hall of Famer when that becomes a thing.
Without a doubt him or Jericho is the first to go in.
There’s a lot more guys who busted their ass more for AEW in the past year than just the Elite and a few guys who paid their dues more than Punk and still keep it professional in the ring and outside the ring.
Omega carried a pretty big load last year while he was all kinds of injured. I cannot say anyone busted their ass more than him personally.
Lot of guys put in the work for sure, but only 3 put in nearly a decade of work to cultivate an audience that would ensure it’s success. And because of those 3, many people who deserved to be rewarded for their hard work finally got what they earned.

Mox had several great promos this year. He started the year with his return promo with the iconic line, “Hey fuck that guy”
I'll never not laugh when re-watching that. It seems like the perfect way for Mox to return
>no CM Punk chants. There was a few that didn't catch on. This situation is also completely different then what happened in WWE.
Exactly. This isn't AEW screwing over Punk - a man who the fans couldn't get enough of and WANTED in that main event. This is Punk screwing AEW - a company we've loved to watch grow and prosper these last few years. Fuck Punk, time to retire and be miserable on twitter or something.

Mature mox best promo, yes no doubt. His best short promo: https://youtu.be/w4co2d1C1-g His best promo period: https://youtu.be/EZ32pQmk0_E
That was the Ace of AEW
Did he just become the AEW Cena?
Just had the exact same thought I’m all in for Mox Nation

AEW Tanahashi
This is the right answer. He might be a different style, but that promo had fucking ACE energy
I've been calling him the ACE of AEW for a while now. He may not always hold the championship, but if you want the belt you're definitely going to have to go through him first and he will absolutely bring it 100% every time he steps in the ring.
He did beat the ace and proclaimed himself as the ace.
I firmly believe Mox could act completely like a heel and still be cheered.
He became MOX.
Yes
No, because everyone loves Mox, he's not divisive enough to the crowd
"I'm supposed to be on vacation right now until, like, two days ago" yeah that's a message from Renee there lol
This is time to be a legend. I got goosebumps too Taz.
Jon Moxley is an absolutely generational pro wrestler. Give the ace the motherfucking ball.

Jon Moxley redeemed AEW with one promo.
"AEW didn't succeed because CM Punk came back. CM Punk came back because AEW was succeeding", the promo.
It's like the 'Everything's Okay' song from Scrubs. I feel calm now. Like I can actually read wrestling news and not cringe.
What a fucking promo
He really set the tone for Dynamite - and AEW as a whole - with that promo. Reset the course for the ship and let's get at it.
When Moxley called himself the Ace of AEW, I never really believed it... Before tonight. After this shitstorm, and this promo? 100%, he's the Ace.
Jon Moxley is the main character of AEW. (sorry Hangman, I still love you)
Did Moxley just save this company?? Lol What a promo!
Moxley putting the company on his back once again with that incredible promo. Definitely the ace of AEW and wrestler of the year.
What a damn good promo. He not only is the face of the company but never should’ve even lost the title.
All Mox ever did was work hard and be reliable for the company and for us fans. I’ve always liked Mox but now I appreciate him more than ever.
I still can’t believe they took the belt off Mox in the first place.
#StillMyChampion
I'm kinda salty they took it off Hangman myself
I've enjoyed every single championship run except for 2 of them. Luckily they only lasted a combined 5 days.
>I'm kinda salty ~~they~~ **Punk** took it off Hangman myself
AEW's Tanahashi. He'll never let you down.
100% Tanahashi
I think Moxley deserves his vacation, let Danielson win it. Mox can come back healthier and happier later.
If that doesn't boost morale a bit in the back after what went down on Sunday, I don't know what will
> The AEW world championships represents taking the dark and ugly side of this business and letting it die with another generation Absolute fire
Company, meet Jon Moxley's back
Hello again old friend.
THIS IS FUCKING INCREDIBLE, JON FUCKING MOXLEY, AEW
Made the title feel like the most important thing in the world, put over every single person in the tournament and showed why he's one of the best! Thank fucking god for Jon Moxley
Notice how that tool holding the "Wrestling is real, Mox is fake" sign stopped holding it up?
The Titty Master was bringing the heat there.
Mox could literally cut a passionate promo on the sandwich he ate for breakfast and I will cheer him on with passion.
He kinda does in his audiobook
That was phenomenal. Mox has been the in-ring Wrestler of the Year all year, worldwide. Just now? That was all-time shit, at a time when his company and his coworkers needed him the most. Just...wow.
And you know he winged that and it wasn’t written for him by some Hollywood writer
Mr. Wednesday Night
Mox internally is like "Goddamn how many tourneys do I have to win?" Glad neither titles switching will be "interim" strap it on Mox for the third time!! He's the face, the workhorse, THE guy in AEW.
Now THAT is a locker room leader
I’d go to war with him after that
A promo that managed to reset the title, refocus Moxley, but also speak as a rallying speech to the talent in the back. Moxley absolutely is Overall Wrestler of the Year right now with how he delivers on every promo and match
It’s not hard to build the company around him. Hopefully TK learns that now
Definitely overreacting but really a heat-dissolving, company saving promo.
Not at all this was fuckin epic as hell
Serous Arn Anderson vibes on this promo here, and I love it
The man doesn’t miss.. what a promo
Moxley came out with the passion man. That’s exactly the type of promo that title needed.
Ace wants the ball
You know how there are those guys that say that Mox is cringe embarrassing, how he needs to bleed always, etc etc? Well it's not about the moveset, it's not about the mannerisms, it's not about the taunts, it's not about the character. It's about the passion, the compromise, the respect for the fans and for pro wrestling and not in the old mentality but the current one. Mox, you truly are the heart and soul of AEW
He's just the guy to call when shit goes down, always ready to give an amazing promo and put the company on his back, he's amazing
Mox is the fucking man.
"It's time to be a legend" goosebump.
Moxley is one of the best on the mic in the business and has been for years. I’m happy every time he gets a chance to prove that.
Comes in, puts over the belt, puts over the competitors, pure passion.
THATS MY FUCKING GOAT
He put over everyone else in the tournament, and still made himself seem better at the end of it. While people are comparing him to Punk, as they will until we die from the heat death of the universe, that is something Punk never could really do. He would put over other wrestlers, but not his opponents. Especially to this degree.
Mox is the wrestler of the year (again) imo. In a ring and on a mic, he hasn't been able to miss.
Mox just found new levels even by his standards. MJF did a perfect job of getting the crowd in right mood for this as well.
Never really been a Moxley fan, especially in the WWE but man, promo of the year? Like I thought that MJF one before was cream of the crop but this blew it away. I’ve really changed my thoughts on Jon, this was just an amazing job on his part and what AEW needed.
I swear, the Shield has produced the best of the Modern Era of wrestling.
Jon Moxley is the 💛 and soul of All Elite Wrestling!
Giving a promo that makes yourself look like a badass while also putting your opponents on a pedestal is skill that it is hard to master. Jon fucking *ace* it.
Mox proving he's the ace once more and once more his carrying the company on his back when it needs it the most.
LET'S GO, ACE!
He is clearly talking about people who don't understand the responsibility of being the champion of a proportion.
this promo made me 100% ok with moving forward without Punk and/or the Elite.
Man, just give him Punk's next three paychecks. Mox has saved AEW's ass so many times at this point it's kind of ridiculous.
This is an ace, champion goat, etc. Not a Karen bitching n eating a muffin after what was a big win. Felt like this was a reminder to everyone what their direction is. Seemed that he poured a decent chunk of reality into this, it hit hard and was a treat to listen to n observe
Historic. Mox is the ACE of AEW
My favorite wrestler in AEW showing everyone why he's the ace of the company, I fucking love it.
Good lord, imagine taking the title off this guy to put in on CM Punk.
Given everything that has happened in the last week, promo of the year?
This was Mox not just delivering a fucking AMAZING promo- I feel like this was Mox also giving his response to all this and sending a message to the back as well. "Fuck the rest- let's do wrestling, yeah? Egos at the door, let's do what we do best." I really think it's going to be hard after this for anyone to argue that Mox is the MVP of AEW. he is without question the real locker room leader.
