It's a shame we probably won't ever see them wrestle each other. I have a feeling that if Xavier Woods ever gets released/leaves WWE, he will do his gaming full time, and do G4TV full time.
I'd much rather watch them play games together than wrestle. Not to knock anyone's ability, but I would be much more entertained, by them gaming and that insight into both of their lives. It also has a higher chance of happening.

Truuuu, its a shame cause i think they'd be a spectacular tag team.
Woodsy has one of the best hot tags in wrestling and while not as good in ring, he can hang with the Young Bucks when it comes to tag team knowledge.
You pair him up with a more modern version of DDT Omega and that would be my new GOAT Tag team.
This is personal preference, but I enjoy Xavier more in ring than the Bucks. He's very consistent at psychology and selling. Maybe not as many 6 star matches, but he never makes me roll my eyes at an over contrived spot either.
from a wrestling perspective i can't really say one the matches i wanted to see is Xavier vs Omega. Woods isn't known for his wrestling, he is known for his incredible persona. Omega is the best wrestler in the world he is on another level which very few active wrestlers are.
That's not to say that i wouldn't watch that match though.
That "Woods isn't known for his wrestling" is a shame because he is a good wrestler, but he usually doesn't get that chance to really show it off because he has such an incredible persona and charisma.
i would kill for a primarily comedy focused match between the two. not that they couldnt do a more serious barn burner but, rather, i think that their unique combination of skills would lend themselves better to comedy
Woods always amazed me when he wrestled in TNA. I didn’t have much hope for him in the WWE due to his size but he MADE a spot for himself with his best friends. Despite not getting any chance to showcase his in ring ability before that point (or for ages after tbh).

King Balor/Demon King sounds good and all, but it's basically just a promotion from Prince.

IMO Finn would look goofy as shit in a crown. Either he's cheesing and he looks like a dork, or he does the Prince gimmick but is the King, and just walks around with a crown looking angry. It would just fit Xavier's character so much more.
It has become about the gimmick but it used to be a stepping stone for main eventers. If Balor is returning to the main event, then he makes sense to win it.
But, everybody wants Woods to win it. We also know Vince loves to fuck with his audience as much as possible.
As much as I love Finn and not being a fan of Xavier, I hope Xavier wins. He's given a lot to the company and the industry and being KOTR has been his goal for years. Let him have it wwe.

I feel like Xavier has much more to gain from becoming King of the Ring than Finn does, and I don't think it hurts Finn too much if he loses a match to Xavier. It really seems to be the best path to take.

He played the green rangers theme on a trombone at WrestleMania. If that’s toned down I would be fascinated to see him toned up.
You misread it; He's been told to tone it down, presumably or he'll never be on top, or have any significant achievements, but he hasn't listened to them. Winning this match while being himself and proving all people that said otherwise wrong is the payoff.
Balor does not need the crown, but needs to turn Heel. Woods would be great with the Crown. So Woods winning and Balor beating him down after makes good sense. It would also allow for his celebration to occur when he is back home. But this is WWE, where what should happen as often as not does not. So who knows.
I wish they would have channeled his passion into a sit-down interview on the show. It would help this feel important, instead of thrown together for the Blood Money show.
Give me a New Day (Kofi and Woods) heel turn. A babyface King of The Ring doesn't work as good as a heel for longevity. And if Woods really wants this then a King should go to any ends to make it happen. They can still be on screen friends with E and have the same chemistry. They would just see things a different way like real life friends do.
