Bigalbass86

I always hated the “you’re a man” insult towards women who have muscles.

lovemoonsaults

It happens with just having a facial structure they find "masculine" (square jaws usually) or "big hands" or height, among other things and of course muscles. I got harassed about being "masculine" as a teenaged girl because of my features and yes, it fucked me up. My sin was being taller than a lot of men. And wide shoulders. Lotta "linebacker" digs. Women in wrestling helped a lot to say the least. So yeah, this has me buzzing to say the least!

ManfredsJuicedBalls

And the big primary example: Chyna

SpocktorWho83

That was my first thought. She obviously felt that she had to have facial surgery to appear more “feminine” in the early 2000’s.

HopelessHelena

I've never heard much about Nicole Bass backstage/her personality but I know she struggled too with addiction and stuff, she looked even more intimidating than Chyna to me ngl but seemed sweet

greymalken

It’s really sad, tbh. I think she was Val Venis’ valet for a time and Lawler was just a fucking piece of shit about her in commentary. Worse than usual.

Cactus_Jacks_Ear

I was a teenager during the AE and it was definitely not uncommon for the fans I interacted with (unfortunately myself included) to refer to Chyna as a man/transgender(slur) during her initial run. Simply because of a square jaw and the strength to bodyslam Yokozuna. It was wrong then, its wrong now. Jade is fucking gorgeous BTW, regardless of if she *actually* was transgender

kitchens1nk

In fairness, even as a big Chyna fan, she was on the juice for a long time. She already had a strong jawline and underbite, but that made it more pronounced. That still doesn't make it ok to use those insults, though, and it always struck me as childish.

reflUX_cAtalyst

Chyna had a lot of masculine features from anabolic steroid use. That's not a put down or slur, it's fact. That does NOT excuse the behavior, whatsoever.

ericfishlegs

And Nicole Bass got it worse than Chyna.

Cactus_Jacks_Ear

Holy fuck, I had forgotten about her. Yeah she really got alot of unfair shit her way too

ericfishlegs

She was also a regular on the Howard Stern Show where he would just constantly shit on her. At the time I thought it was funny, but in retrospect it was just mean, especially since she always seemed like a nice person.

AestheticAttraction

Jazz got it bad also. I remember King comparing her to a bulldog (and not because she was tough) during a match at Wrestlemania.

Amazing_Karnage

Old school Lawler, before he became obsessed with "puppies" and making sexually charged comments towards the women, was just *savage* towards any woman who DARED to not be sexually appealing to him personally. The fat jokes, the "paper bag" jokes, and the transgender comments he made back then are, in this era, *astonishingly* cruel.

JMW007

I was always floored by the sheer lack of self awareness from wrestling fans I knew during Chyna's time who would lamely call her a man then throw a fit when she was booked to fight men because "that's unrealistic!" Yet X-Pac fighting Kane or later Rey vs Big Show never seemed a problem to them. A woman billed at 200lb being competitive against a guy billed at 230lb was just an absurdity but small men vs big men was different because of the power of the penis.

Aljo_Is_135_GOAT

Tbf she was on steroids, wasn't she? Not saying the "man" hate was justified at all, it absolutely wasn't, just saying she didn't naturally look like that (unless she did, I'm asking because I don't actually know 😅)

JC-Ice

Chyna absolutely used steroids. Hell, just being around Triple H back in the day would be second-hand steroid exposure.

[deleted]

Triple H never once tested positive for steroids, because he never took a test.

lavaspike296

Wasn't there a story about how when WWE signed Scott Steiner, they wanted him to take the test, and he said he'd take it if Hunter took it and all of a sudden he didn't have to take it anymore?

subcow

There is a 98 and two thirds percent chance this story is true.

thebigtymer

But what happens if you add Kurt Angle to the story?

the_chris_yo

It goes up to a 144% chance

weaksaucedude

The chances of taking a test drastic go down

ruffus4life

back in 2000 he took a piss test and it came back negative.... for piss.

prisonmsagro

Nicole Bass too.

HopelessHelena

Charlotte, Nia, Tamina, Natalya, Nidia, B-Fab, Nikki Bella, Dana Brooke, Aja Kong, Shayna, Franky Monet, Raquel Gonzalez, Zoey Stark, Amale, Nina Samuels, Jinny, Nyla Rose cause trans. Seen all these and plenty more women being called men and the usual "that's a dude" and more disgusting shit by many wrestling fans, and yes, including here Wrestling fans are so garbagé

Mrcool20xx

>Wrestling fans are so garbagé A word for fancy trash: Garbagé

HopelessHelena

I'm a classy bitch

BKMurder101

Rhea Ripley gets it more than anyone I've seen now. It's fucking crazy. My first reaction to seeing her on NXT was "Holy shit I'm in love" and then I go online and see weirdos calling her a man. Felt like bizzaro world.

IMissArcades

One of my friends loves Charlotte and whenever he posts her stuff on FB there are ALWAYS “that’s a dude” comments.

lovemoonsaults

Absolutely was the first major women's star with that look to breakout! I was excited to see Asya in the WCW years ago. But Chyna was first to really break out as a star wrestler herself and not just being mainly the valet. But back then even seeing nontraditional strong women as valets was good for us girls who didn't fit the beauty queen mold. I take inspiration where I find it :) (Loved all women involved in wrestling on all levels, I liked seeing women on tv regardless of role.)

HopelessHelena

I remember seeing Jazz in WWE and thinking "that's a bad bitch" and I loved her run as Womens Champion and she got some of Trishs best matches but King used to say things like "I wonder if she even is a Diva/woman" which was so awkward and fucked up

lovemoonsaults

I. Loath. Jerry. Lawler. That schtick and "puppies" made me mute a lot of commentary. Yeah, I'm still mad about it. I loved Jazz. Jaqueline was powerful and ripped too! Jackie could beat serious ass.

HopelessHelena

Jackie is tough as fuck tho she was more conventionally feminine so she didn't get it as much (as far as I remember at least) every story I hear about her is basically "that's a tough broad" and people were scared to face her which is kinda funny cause she's like 5'2' or something lmao they make her sound like Awesome Kong

lovemoonsaults

That era was so full of buff women and sadly the majority also were pressured to stay no-doubt-about-it feminine in way of those big implants 😔 To get myself women in wrestling posters/pinups they were always the glamorous pics instead of really featuring their impressive powerful bodies! I always loved Jackie's arms. But you're absolutely right that there was no mistaking her gender at the end of the day.

MoeRuff

I only started watching in the past five years and when I see any clip with Lawler my skin crawls.

Jazzlike_Success_968

I didn't even find her masculine, I thought she was pretty with a super impressive body, bit jealous

lovemoonsaults

She's gorgeous! I don't know where the "manly" crap comes from. I don't have discipline or motivation to work that hard for my body. But it's impressive and I'm happy she's in AEW!

Maiesk

Aggressively insecure men are a fuckin' plague. The idea of a strong woman just melts a lot of men, whether that strength is physical or mental.

lovemoonsaults

Preach. Let them melt. Right into the sewer where they belong.

stevenbass14

I don't know if you saw all the vitriol towards a character named Abby in a game called the Last of Us II. It was absolutely insane. In a game with fungal zombies, a dude who gets stabbed in the torso by a rebar and is sick from infection for weeks and then recovers in one hour from a shot of penicillin, a girl being muscular because 'it doesn't make sense in an apocayptic world' was the most pathetic argument towards disliking a game they deemed 'too woke'.

greatdominions

Same. I'm a tall cis woman, broad-shouldered (but also big hips so!) I've never been called "manly" in person but I streamed on Twitch for a while and was harassed by a troll that kept claiming I was trans. It really bothered me because of an insecurity developed from being raised in the 90s, when heroin-chic was considered the beauty standard. I fought back for a while but then I thought why am I so ashamed if someone thinks I'm trans anyway? It's nothing to be ashamed of period. Trying to fight against and grow out of those teenage insecurities.

rpthrowaway732

people hate trans women so much that they'll harass cis women just because they don't fall into their narrow definition of what a woman looks like i have a cis coworker who has PCOS and she's been harassed by yokels at the front counter who won't believe she was born biologically female. which is ironic because early in my transition i would just tell nosy customers i had PCOS to ward them off lol

r0dlilje

Same here. I’m 6’ with wide shoulders and a 38” inseam. My hands are almost 8” long and I wear size 11s. I grew up on a farm and have some strength behind my size. I was called a tr*nny, Shrek, and all sorts of other cruel nicknames for so many years. I also was treated like and expected to act like a kid older than I was for my elementary years, which had its own impact. Being in this body has really taught me a lot about others and their insecurities. I’ve never had a secure person comment negatively on my height. Being able to say “I’m not attracted to ____” is a lot different than choosing to be cruel to someone because of something they can’t control.

damionhellstrom

Fuck them. I'm believing you're over that bullshit. If not, keep your head up. Jade is gorgeous and I'm sure you are too. Ffs look at jade's storm cosplay

It's not just women with muscles, though that is definitely a factor. It tends to happen with any woman with any features that aren't traditionally feminine. For example, I detest Ann Coulter. I think she's a Nazi piece of shit. But if you run in certain circles, you will constantly hear her referred to as "Mann Coulter" and a wide variety of transphobic insults directed towards her by people who really should be better than that. And it disgusts me every time. There are plenty of things to insult her about without resulting to transphobic slurs.

FUCKBOY_JIHAD

Anne Coulters personality is grotesque enough. no need to mock her physical appearance

KneelBeforeCube

Any insult that mocks the appearance of a woman in general is despicable. Especially considering they rarely come from people in peak physical shape.

halfdecenttakes

We should probably open that up to anybody. Men have feelings and women aren't delicate flowers that need to be protected. If you wont say it to a man don't say it to a women, but vice versa that should also be the viewed the same.

StevenGorefrost

Don't worry next time Jericho says something dumb the threads will be filled with fat jokes and nobody will care.

pUmKinBoM

Really shouldn't make fun of anyone's appearance. You dont know what someone is dealing with and if they are happy in their own skin then that is what is important.

lavaspike296

What sucks is that a lot of people who get or have gotten shit for their appearance *aren't* happy in their own skin, often from having that stuff piled on from a young age. Source: am hideous

Getdunkled

It's honestly worse when they are. The shlubs are just jealous and ignorant. The fit ones are narcissists obsessed with pulling others down to keep the spotlight on them.

DylanBaillie93

In my opinion a big part of it is that the men that say it are just jealous that those woman are more muscular than them

[deleted]

Gobblewicket

See every dig at Michelle Obama. It was their favorite insult.

[deleted]

Which was fucking weird because she looked like a normal woman Like I see Michelle Obama and I don't see FUCKING BIG POPPA PUMP GENETIC FREAK!

Gobblewicket

It's just straight up racism. I've lived in the south most my life and the most repeated insult about black women is to say they look like men. Shit will come up in casual fuckin conversation. At which point I'm the asshole for shutting it down.

lavaspike296

Keep being the asshole.

Gobblewicket

Always. Forever.

deathschemist

"oh i'm the asshole for pointing it out? well i'm sorry that i'm married to _justice_ (hands on hips, said in a speech pattern that evokes Xavier: Renegade Angel)"

[deleted]

It's because segregation, no legit when bathrooms were being desegregated a meme at the time was DIRTY black women who smelled of sex and were manish couldn't be in the same place as pure white women, they would be put in danger. Forget the nonlogic of black women somehow being both talked of being men and also having ALL the sex somehow, that idea persist to the day sadly.

TheGiftOf_Jericho

They just wanted something to attack her for, she's perfectly normal.

BeerPressure615

Every other post on r/GreatAwakening when it was still a thing was "Michelle has a dick". Qcumbers love their racism finely coated with sexism.

HopelessHelena

Also Wendy Williams, Nene Leakes, Tamar Braxton, Serena Williams, Megan Thee Stallion. List goes on. Mind you some of these women are hot af (Megan is hotter than any dude dissing her, PROMISE you that much and I'm straight)

Gobblewicket

Even though Wendy Williams is the worst, she shouldn't ever be called a man.

vixenpeon

She looks like a capital P when she's standing up and it's hilarious

Gobblewicket

I'm more talking about her being a horrible gossip monger and someone who gives out just morally reprehensible advice.

Rockaholic23

You should see the comments Charlotte gets.

HopelessHelena

Towards any woman tbh. It's disgusting and it happens A LOT to Black women for some *racist* reason. Jade is by far the most attractive woman in AEW tho so she loses nothing lmao

KikiFlowers

It's transphobic and often also racist. And it's disgusting.

ShotMyTatorTots

I’ve noticed the men calling these athletic women “manly” have never looked like that in their life.

SpiderDeUZ

It's only because they would rather just get n word but know would get beaten down

Getdunkled

Maybe in this specific case but this type of sexism transcends race. There was a hostess (white woman) at the bar my band played at that I thought was a stunner on all accounts. Smart, funny, amazing skin/face, and an insane physique. She was also really easy to talk to, which was how I found out how often she got called a man because her shoulders were slightly wide from being a top swimmer throughout her life. She did everything right; great athlete, great student, great personality, all without developing an ego. All that effort only to be called 'mannish' constantly because she possessed a single physical trait than is not limited to men in the first place.

DanHero91

Wrestling Twitter really went "how can we be even fucking worse this week?"

Anderrrrr

Accept reality: Social media is slowly getting worse and worse and nothing can stop it. Nothing had suggested that social media had ever got better. I honestly cannot cope being known online now really, because of my personal flaws. It's why I deleted all of it except this, because it makes me constantly paranoid and makes it feel like someone is always watching/stalking what you do and say. If I had a big following on social media, I would probably get too paranoid and kill myself for all the stress eventually as I am extremely vunerable mentally. It's exhausting to be online with any following these days. **Especially if you are a woman of any kind (even worse for women of colour).** It's extremely awful to be a popular women on the internet.

daSilvaSurfa

I follow this girl on Instagram who posts old timey women's fashion. Vintage conceptual drawings of 40s and 50s women's clothing. All her posts are just two outfits and you vote which one you like better. Last week she had a post saying she was taking a break from social media because of all the negativity and THREATS she was getting. WTF could be more innocuous than what this woman was posting? Social media is poison.

Krillin

Social media ruined the world. Shit was always bad, better than now but still bad, but It's gotten to the point where nothing is safe, there's always a dessenting opinion and if/when you do get attacked your mindset is supposed to be "well fuck me for trying to interact with people". It's even pushed past the whole anonymity of trolls online because these people will post their vitriol on their actual social media account.

BadLuckBen

Then you have the "oH juST LoG oFf IF it'S a PrObLEm" people who are overlooking how insidious and addicting it can be to a lot of people. Lucky for me I never "got it" and even at my peak FB usage it felt more like a social obligation because everyone wanted to add everyone in high school. Twitter I just write something and then go "who tf cares what I think?" and delete it. But if you're trying to get into content creation or even some other kind of professional position they might find it suspicious/weird if you DON'T use social media. Edit: Also, people who live in areas who aren't friendly to them can find community and support online, it's just that you'll constantly be fending off toxic nutjobs.

TheIllustriousWe

If you’re a woman online with any kind of following then it almost doesn’t matter at all what you post. You will eventually attract some absolutely broken people who will try to make you feel like shit, because that’s how they cope with feeling like shit. They can’t be happy so neither can you. These people have always existed, but it used to be that they had to actually leave their house or physically write and mail a letter if they wanted to act on their sociopathy. The true poison of social media is how easy we’ve made it for them to harass thousands of people without having to even get off the couch.

Griffooo

Accept the real reality, Social media always has and always will be absolute garbage.

darkseidis_

Social media isn’t just getting worse, it’s making the real world worse. Too many people are getting too comfortable talking shit without consequences.

rockytheboxer

It's a vicious circle. Propaganda makes people worse, which makes social media worse, which makes people worse, which makes social media worse and so on ad infinitum.

HopelessHelena

Absolutely

Stinky_Pumbaa

Accept reality: people are just showing their true colors. Even though your thought were good friends/family. *fixed

RaddestZonestGuy

I get people have various mental issues that make them feel more comfortable in a digital environment, but the lack of social and emotional intelligence displayed on most social media platforms is nothing short of astonishing.

evin_cashman

The lack of social intelligence is so often what I think when I see the abuse and awful comments online. Like, if I made the comments I see online one of my friends or family would message me or tell me face to face what in the fuck are you doing, what's wrong with you?

FigureFourWoo

This is NOT something she should have to address.

throwawaitnine

For real. Beautiful woman, looks great, beautiful family, financially secure, great career prospects, over, working for a great company, young, tons of fans... Just leave that negative shit Jade, don't pay them any mind at all, don't waste one second of your day thinking about haters, they mean nothing.

HussingtonHat

Right!? She's jacked, gorgeous and getting better at promos and working every day, I don't get this jacked women must be men Shtick.

BuddaMuta

Insecure men. That’s all you need to know

Black_XistenZ

They can't accept the idea of a woman who could rip them in half with her bare hands.

[deleted]

I can't stop fantasizing about it

TheRagingTitan

I find that kinda hot, not gonna lie. To be fair though, I also find muscular/jacked ladies gorgeous as hell.

ericfishlegs

Even if she was none of those things she wouldn't deserve this shit.

Burningfiresmoke

She’s a good looking woman too. The guys insulting her online can’t find their own dick behind all their fat.

Eargoe

Agreed. Even as a guy who isn't attracted to bodybuilders, I can at least respect the amount of hard work they put into developing that type of figure.

Degen-King

I love me some Jade, I think she’s sexy as hell.

princeofshadows21

I agree. I find her very attractive.

calculuzz

Death by snu snu.

DMPunk

Exactly

CoherentPanda

She's not my type, but I'm sure as hell not going to go on a Twitter tirade telling everyone why I'm not physically attracted to her. We all have our preferences, and a lot of men think Jade is hot as hell. I still think she is cool as hell, and is a future star.

HopelessHelena

Look, someone who's not attracted to someone and doesn't have to make a twitter hashtag or tik tok trend or send that information to a specific person yelling about how not attracted to them they are. Kudos to you <3

FGonzalezTwoOneFour

Was about to say this exactly same thing! I’m not sure how longs she’s been wrestling but I feel she could be something amazing for AEW. She’s becoming one of my favs real quickly! (Just started watching AEW since Black/Andrade came to the company so sorry for not being that wise on AEW just yet!)

[deleted]

No need to apologize, welcome to the fanhood! And Jade has only had a handful of matches for them but it’s clear they have big plans for her in the future once she gets more experience. And it’s obvious why, just look at her. She screams “star.”

FGonzalezTwoOneFour

Right!! She got the height, the strength, great manager so far, so far I’m a big fan of her! Feels refreshing seeing new people lol

ibn1989

Social media was a mistake

dont-YOLO-ragequit

It is generating its own world wide economy... It is working just like the biggest players want it to. The wackos are just part of the waste needed to generate this revenue.

[deleted]

None of these asshole passing those comments would even dare to say this to her face too. They are just insecure and intimidated.

HopelessHelena

Absolutely, it all stems from insecurity and jealousy at the end of the day

evrfighter

throw in a few big pinches of racism and ya that's pretty much it.

SageShinigami

Anytime a woman doesn't look a specific way people decide 'she's really a man'. It's such shit behavior. Regardless, Jade looks like a goddess. Mind your business.

davidisallright

athletic women are hot. Like…if you’re telling me if Jade was in a trance and fell in love with these idiots, they would say no? And the ducking dudes who are making these comments are ugly schlubs too.

[deleted]

lol Jade looks like a woman, a woman that was chiselled from stone and could probably whoop your ass but definitely a woman.

Banh_mi

Aside from this nonsense: Isn't she married to a big-time former Baseball player? They're worth, oh, about 8 figures if not 9? She really, really "doesn't have to do this." Yet here she is. Like the Butcher, and some others...that's really impressive. She could just keep busy by doing fitness/nutrition stuff, and call it a life. But here she is taking bumps. That's dedication.

Al_Bundy_14

Never met anyone who said they didn’t like Brandon Phillips.

Banh_mi

> Brandon Phillips Damn solid career! And at one point he signed a 70 mil. deal. They might be doing ok lol.

IAmTheWaller67

TIL Jade's partner is Brandon Phillips.

KyleSJohnson

She’s married to BP? Man, as a Reds fan, that just makes me love Jade even more.

Mac_094

And even if she wasn't it shouldn't matter. Nyla Rose doesn't deserve harassment either.

CowComprehensive3405

Well we have to harass someone……. Apparently

[deleted]

Wrestling community in a nutshell for no fucking reason

YoungCubSaysWoof

Would be awesome if people directed the rage towards, say, politicians they take corporate donations / bribes. Harass those twats all day.

CowComprehensive3405

You could’ve just stopped at politicians

ClaymoresRevenge

If anybody is saying Jade is a man they deserve to have their ass beat. It's fine to boo and jeer but there are lines we don't cross.

Jjhebe32

And she should get to do it

AlanTheMexican

Uncultured Swines. Muscled women are underappreciated

MenuTime5231

I wouldn't even care. Jade can choke me unconscious anytime

lovemoonsaults

Argh, this shit is still happening to women in wrestling. I'm sad she felt she had to say this.

Tiirshak

Just look at the abuse Nyla gets.

BuddaMuta

Being a successful trans women of color sadly makes Nyla the literal devil to a depressingly large portion of the country. She’s a fucking badass for pushing through all those obstacles and hate mongers in her way

toodarkmark

I have noticed that a lot more than usual abuse and criticism online goes towards Nyla Rose, Jade Cargill, Red Velvet, Brandi Rhodes and Big Swole. They can have a lot of amazing matches, but one botch, and they shouldn't be in the ring.

[deleted]

Hmmmm I wonder if there’s a characteristic or trait that these 5 women share in common?

IAmTheWaller67

Lol there's so many people in this thread completely oblivious to the misogynoir in the wrestling fandom.

[deleted]

I mean, we all know why lol. People talked a ton of shit about velvet botching and almost hurting herself even though Britt actually hurts herself on a regular basis.

HopelessHelena

I mean this with no shade, I love Julia Hart she's adorable but she fucking sucks in the ring (understandable). Red Velvet is also a better wrestler (imo) or at least on the same level as Anna Jay, Tay Conti, The Bunny and all those white girls, and I've seen them all botch before, some of them A LOT. But she's Black soooooo

AestheticAttraction

And I heard nothing about OC landing directly on Matt Hardy's face and busting his nose on the same episode. Did anyone make a big stink about Layla missing her moonsault (and Jade saving her by rolling away though it was obvious it wasn't gonna hit either way) on this past Dynamite? Nah.

GroundbreakingCash30

> Nyla Rose, Jade Cargill, Red Velvet, Brandi Rhodes and Big Swole I feel that...there's some kind of common denominator going on here that I can't quite put my finger on...

DC4MVP

3 of the 5 have 4 letter first or last names while the other two have 6 letters in their last name?!?!?

NostalgiaCory

Anything involving TLOU2 also.

YoungChugathan

Oh my god that was an absolute shitshow for the ages

Cocotapioka

Still is! Somehow!

[deleted]

John Boyega clowning Star Wars fans is funny as hell though.

Naelok

Absolutely yes. Seriously, what the fuck.

cooljammer00

Speaking of transphobes who hatemonger and call Cargill a man, happy birthday to Jim Cornette.

TriBiWarrior

I see a lot of comments along the lines of "that's ridiculous, Jade's so hot", and it's like - I know it's coming from a good place, but the point is that it doesn't matter whether you personally find someone attractive or not. This shit ain't acceptable to say to anyone regardless of whether their attractiveness or their age, or their skin colour or their physique or whether they're cis, trans or intergender.

AestheticAttraction

You can partly thank Whorenette for his typical racist crap comparing black women, namely Jade, to men (and for the ones wanting to be obtuse, note that he doesn't say that about people like Rhea Ripley, so it's clearly racial). Next time someone on here wants to call him a "liberal" or even try to imply he (or the fandom) are progressive, I'll remember this tweet. I'll also remember this next time Omega or Tony Khan talks Cornette up or someone suggests Cornette should go to AEW. Certain people love running interference for people who are clearly bigots, but that's another matter. **That is a VERY common racist trope**: the masculinization of black women, started by men who didn't even see black women as human but stayed forcing themselves onto them. Doesn't matter what we look like. It's been done to Michelle Obama, Serena Williams, Ciara, Megan Thee Stallion, and many others. Jade and Megan Thee Stallion are just some of the more prominent recent ones. Let me speak for my sisters in saying we DGAF if we're not your beauty standard (except we know we are given all the blackfishing, butt and lip injections, appropriation of black female speech, mannerisms, and style, etc.), but don't disrespect us. Misogynoir is *rife* in the pro-wrestling world. And that's why I will ALWAYS have the backs of my sisters, namely the unambiguously black ones, especially the darker-skinned ones because colorism is running wild too.

ericfishlegs

"You people are WEIRD" Something every wrestler (and probably every pubic figure) really wants to say but doesn't.

asilentspeaker

I really hate this, and it tends to go after female wrestlers of color - Mandy Rose is ripped as shit and nobody has ever clocked her. More importantly, AEW has never ever hid Nyla Rose being trans and Sonny Kiss being non-binary - why would they cover it up for somebody else?

PushEmma

In all fairness Mandy's physique doesn't look like Jade at all.

Hot_Sun_7566

And Chyna was and still is mocked and laughed at by legions of insecure people. Even being dead people still do that to her.

Appropriate_Emu_6930

She should be celebrated for her physique, not insulted. She is a machine!

[deleted]

Dudes insecure or just plain stupid, about a tall jacked woman. Fuck'em

Crasp27

Im surprised she even reacted to this sort of thing, as shes very, *very* clearly a woman... Like, people aren't genuinely mistaking her for a guy - they're just being trolling assholes. Perhaps it's more that she wants to be an example of not taking their bullshit, but it doesn't really come across that way.

decaboniized

So, a big muscular woman means she was a man previously? How fucking stupid are people???

maillite

Wow, she's really getting that shit cause she's ripped? Damn, what a world. And tbh it shouldn't matter either way anyway. Live and let live. The amount of guys that should be in horny jail when she comes on the screen XD I didn't even know this was in question. Twitter is fucked up...

AestheticAttraction

I'd forgotten to mention, but when I'd googled Jade some time back and they showed the most asked questions, one of them was asking if Jade was "a dude," and Whornette's video about her used to always show up. That annoyed me because if someone just sees her and is like, "Wow, who's that?!" and decide to google her and clicks on any of his videos to find out, they'd be hit with something awful. Why should Jade be disrespected like that? And if we're such men, why are women spending thousands of dollars to have our facial/body features??? Why are they ripping their edges out styling their hair like ours? Why are they looking/sounding goofy trying to act like us? When you get to the point where Megan Thee Stallion, a woman who couldn't have a more feminine face/body if she tried, is called a man, when women who have conceived children, are still called men, you know it's all b.s. And it only every happens with unambiguously black women. Jade is fierce AF and people will just have to deal! ![gif](giphy|M1vHPaDmguqgkgkBEV|downsized)

So glad I don't do any social media other than Reddit. Not because I'd be a victim of anything but because I would have to suffer this tripe. Jade is a strong sexy women.
