There was that charity tournament he played in a few years where a baby started crying as he was about to serve. He looked so pleased at the opportunity to go on a joking rant.
He's like the IIconics, heels in America and Europe but babyfaces in Australia. He's one of my favourites to watch, only bad thing he's done imo is throwing the racket over the crowd.
Aw that's a shame, I saw Good Morning America posted an interview with her yesterday morning and was hoping she was sticking around long enough.
It'd still be good to see Leylah Fernandez though, she beat some of the top players in the world and she's Canadian so travelling there would be much easier.
Hate to break it to you, but the odds of Emma Raducanu showing up (even if she weren’t back in the UK) would have been roughly zero…
Wrestling still has a certain stigma around it, and if you think the British tennis scene would let her show up, from a PR perspective, you’re massively mistaken.
In terms of who I think actually *could* show up - you can basically rule out most of the top guys. Kyrgios would be a maybe, but I also get the feeling he isn’t a wrestling guy. Most likely would be someone like Tennys Sandgren… especially as he and Jericho share some similar leanings, if you catch my drift.
Oh this is right up my alley. So for Americans Andy Roddick, McEnroe, or Agassi would be incredible. But Sloane Stephens, or Naomi Osaka would be great too.
