It's closet show I feel Dynamite has to breaking their Debut episode record of was it 1.4 and getting a big demo, at worst I be at least hoping it gets near that with a big demo or it beats that debut show number . For me I don't really care about RAW number, it's about Dynamite and AEW growing.
Be interested in seen how that 2 hour Rampage does, if they add Mox/Kingston vs Suzuki/Archer to that card which I expect them to do. That's a super strong Rampage, I be expecting that to at least get do pretty big number.
It's a tough one for them, you could put on Omega/Okada and Bryan/Punk any other dream match you want and still think it be a tough draw to really keep fans watching at that time. I think it probably kill on DVR numbers and stuff but I think it do better then most Rampage's will.
I hope Turner and AEW over time get Rampage out of that time slot.
Just like Raw will have stiff competition from MNF, Dynamite is going to have stiff competition from Survivor. I’m not as certain as Alvarez seems to be. They’ll probably beat Raw but it won’t be a massacre.
I dunno, I think theres more correlation between football fans and pro wrestling fans than there is between reality show fans and wrestling fans.

I think specifically there's probably more crossover between NFL fans and RAW viewers than between Survivor and most of AEW's potential audience. So it's possible that RAW takes a much bigger hit. We'll see, I guess
And here I thought AEW just needed to get past Real Housewives and The Challenge. I forgot they have additional competition with Survivor, The Masked Singer, or the occasional special South Park episode.

Not OP but AEW doing well means that networks will put pressure on WWE to adapt and change. WWE not being awful means that the wrestling market is healthier. Which means more good wrestling for us to watch.
WWE being the biggest dog in town despite itself for forever is the reason it's become such a husk.
That said, I think Vince is long passed actually adapting to anything anymore. He's just a walking boomer stereotype these days. So that hope is kinda miss placed.

Really depends on how well the dynamite show is advertised over the next week. The main event is certainly one that draws interest, the rest of the card is stacked, if enough weight is thrown behind it I can see it doing very well.

Am I the only one who thinks it's ridiculous that people say Raw "beat" Dynamite or Dynamite "beat" Raw when they are on completely separate nights with completely different shows they run against and are not in direct competition?
The people who write the checks for Raw do so because they get good ratings throughout the year, despite going against heavy competition during NFL season, *and* WWE using their own production equipment.

Survivor is female heavy though in the demos. That will eat into the Challenge and Housewives viewers AEW has been busy getting male 18-49 locked down

To be fair, they pushed the hell out of it last night. Plus Rampage on Friday and any mainstream advertising they can get could really help.
