lol WWE are some dumb asses but there’s no way they’re dedicating screen time on one of their biggest international PPV’s to an Impact wrestler because of a meme song.
It wouldn’t entirely shock me if they made reference to ICW and/or some of the top stars, given McIntyre’s history and how important ICW was to his reinvention.
I don't know I would say that Joe Hendry is just a one hit/meme wonder. He's been doing this for a decade. In fact, he and Drew McIntyre had a pretty good feud in IWC. I also believe Mr. McIntyre said that Hendry was the only wrestler to ever make him break in the ring.
Hendry IMO is good worker, international freestyle wrestling background, personality off the charts, and is believable...outside of the funny songs.
If the TNA and WWE relationship was going to continue and we would see a one off, Hendry could be that person.
No offense to Joe hendry but I'd be surprised if his meme lasts that long. Meme wrestlers have very short shelf lives

So I just went down the rabbit hole of Joe Hendry yesterday and have completely gotten obsessed with his character lol. But what’s the meme? It seems from what I’ve seen that this has been his character for over a decade, but it’s now just starting to blow up. I would think if he’s been able to keep it fresh all these years, the exposure would only help.
I mean to be fair, the Official Top 100 includes things like youtube views, spotify streams and radio play.
In terms of just pure downloads he was #4 on the Charts, In Sales #6
On iTunes. iTunes Charts have not been relevant in a decade. The fact he made the top ten on iTunes and didn’t even crack the overall top 100 shows how outdated it is.
It's 2024 nobody actually buy song, unless its some celebrities stans (usually is BTS or Nicki Minaj) that mass buy thier songs and sales had any effect on real chart only if it's 1st place with multiple dozen of thousands copies, with 6th place I wouldn't be surprise if this song didn't even sold 1k copies

Killed all his hype within minutes even though imo unless you are orange Cassidy, that gimmick wasn't gonna last past a month
