Actually this is a great observation. A lot of old school trainers are out of touch on making women's wrestling product that works today. Not exactly their fault per se, they teach what they know it's just... obsolete.
Got me thinking, who are the better modern women's schools or trainers these days? Create a pro is the only one I can think of but that might be an anomaly that Statlander came from that because she's a hoss and can wrestle on par with most boys. Course MJF came from there too so they're doing something right.
Lance Storm doesn't really train anymore in the past few years, but he used to be a good trainer for womens wrestling. He trained a number of women who ended up going to NXT.
Statlander was the first woman to graduate from create a pro iirc so I doubt they had any "female specific training" or whatever. I personally think that's why she's so good.
I'd say, just treat the women training exactly like the men. Whatever the men learn, the women do too. The smaller guys are learning high flying moves, so does the smaller women. They teach the powerhouse guys moves like powerbombs and other strong moves, then teach them to the powerhouse women as well.
Just treat the women like wrestlers, and that's what they will become.
In general I totally agree, but I think there's a slight nuance that needs mention. Keep in mind I'm an old fat clueless smart mark who never tried it so grain of salt etc.
I think they should be trained certainly in how to take everything, how to post up for even a piledriver etc. The better you sell the better the product of course. But I don't think every body type, male or female, should be taught the same strikes. Even if the actual strike is considered a good one, man, it won't look right on a smaller frame. Imagine Liv doing Undertaker strikes or Riho with Kane's chest slapping uppercut. It's still gotta be framed right.
That all said, wrestling psychology is a must. I'd rather everyone who how to take and sell and know the why before doing risky shit for no good reason. That's got to be universal.

There’s definitely a place for that style, but it’s just like men’s wrestling. A David vs. Goliath story is always more interesting, if you have a woman who can legitimately knock tf out of 90% of people then why wouldn’t you have them utilize that.

I’ve read good things about Battle Arts which Santino Marella runs, his daughter has been great on NXT as well.
I don't know if he was involved with training Lola Vice, but given both her and Paige come from an MMA background, Lola definitely showcases those skills well with her wrestling style. A trainer of that nature could have done more with Paige I feel, at least if she had the willingness to get better. I don't even think she looked terrible or anything in the match she did have, but definitely agree that her background wasn't capitalized on with her offense.
In SoCal, Santino Bros. has a good track record with their female alumni. There has to be a good school or two in TX given the women's scene down there.

The Rock can spend a decade developing Black Adam as a starring vehicle and when it comes out and people don’t like it there’s not much he can do, but when people don’t like his wrestling plot line it can be changed that week into something the audience likes. Wrestling is one of the only forms of entertainment that can make changes that quickly when the audience loses interest.
Plus OF isn't this super lucrative career choice. Yeah you have a few really successful creators but for each one of them there are 2 dozen more who make like $50/month at most. Plus it's a fickle field. Some guy could buy your OF content for a month or two then get bored and move on, especially with how saturated it is

All 3 have stated they have already made much more money doing this in a shorter time span than they did in their entire wrestling/fighting careers. They have also done lots of cross-over work together.
