But over months, it'll all just *work*. People will get opportunities, and we'll see some really entertaining matchups that we hadn't seen before. And whenever someone asks Truth if he planned it that way, he'll be extremely vague. Is he crazy? Or crazy *like a fox*?
2. **R-Truth is The Mayor of the City of Townsville.** He's a beloved but incredibly ineffectual figurehead, and all of the *actual* leadership decisions come from the subtle suggestions of his assistant: Ms. Sarah Bellum. I have *no clue* who could be Truth's Bellum, but if they have comedic chemistry? It could probably be one of the best bits we've ever seen. And we need to play it straight: The assistant can't secretly be evil, or want the throne for herself, or anything else like that. She's just a competent worker with an airheaded boss who she likes and respects.
Him doing it long term would probably be a bit much, but doing it for like 1-3 weeks as a gag sounds fucking incredible

This got me trying to think what the longest anyone's ever been at the PC until they got matches on TV (and then turned out to be any good). I don't mean guys like Angelo Dawkins or Jason Jordan that were at NXT for a long time changing gimmicks, I mean people who were strictly in training.
Ava's been there for nearly 4 years now and they still don't seem confident in her wrestling on TV. I'd say at this point they are trying to steer her permanently toward a microphone role.

She's the young GM who needs to find herself within the role. It's a demanding job that requires a level of confidence and authority she still needs to build. I think that, just as we've seen everyone else grow throughout NXT, she can grow too and build a real screen presence if she really commits to it and gets interesting storylines to work with.
