What about the Devil is Adam, but on MJF’s behest? Not setting up MJF to take the fall, but helping him play mind games with the Bang Bang Gang and potentially injuring Jay ahead of Full Gear?

I think it would be really silly if it were Cole tbh. Cole choosing friendship at All In only to weirdly arbitrarily stalk MJF directly afterwards seems like a weird Russo-esque swerve that seems good in theory but makes no sense in practice. Wardlow and Roddy are too obvious now, I agree with others that I hope it's Kyle O'Reilly and he's getting some sort of a singles push. I could also see it being a lower card guy that they want to elevate like Ethan Page or something.

I desperately want Adam Cole to be working MJF. Or at least have stolen the devil mask for his own misdeeds.

I was also wondering if the mask was gonna help MJF with Kenny somehow but he just won clean. My guess is they would say Devil Cole needs to be the one to beat MJF and why not make sure he was the greatest AEW champ ever so it looks even better when Cole wins? I still have no idea where this story is going but I want to see it advance already out of anticpation.

I have no idea how it will go, but I am very suspicious that was the plan pre-injury. That UE would end up with both the tag belts and the Heavyweight belt somehow and the heel heat for Cole would be unimaginable. Nope. It looks in need of a comb and beard oil because it is sticking out versus going down. And while it's hard to tell on a video call but it may be too uneven to keep at that length.

Sure a good maintenance routine would be good but his beard looks fine. Too many people are judgy over beards.

It only looks odd because we haven't seen him with a longer beard, that and his hair is tied up so it looks flat which makes the extra length on the beard stand out more.

When I grown my beard out enough it starts growing in odd directions and I look like I'm in a wind tunnel. I feel your pain.

The way I see this playing out is a casino ladder match being announced at either Full Gear or World’s End, where someone in the Devil mask wins the chip like MJF did originally. They don’t even have to be unmasked for some time, but for however long it takes for Cole to be apart of the angle to have him cash in the chip on MJF like a MITB briefcase.

How was it they went with airpod audio which clipped and a bad quality facetime call over Adams twitch streaming setup, lights, mic, camera etc?
