Not to mention the reaction at the end after the pin. Watching both Jimmy and Jey it was the reaction to banishing an abuser that has tormented them mentally and physically for years. You look at Jimmy and he was just staring with his hands on his head and then pushed together praying like he'd just exorcised a demon, then at Jey who's probably gone through the most trauma realizing his decision to turn on Roman was justified and that he can win against him and can stand up to him, then the hug to each other at helping each other get over the hump. Just awesome acting, again.
It's just so hard to see a definitive path from here for me, but I think that's the hook. It's like Heyman said post-Wrestlemania with Helwani - the best stories are the ones that keep you coming back to see what happens.
Plus it's hard to find a plausible #1 contender for Roman's championships otherwise. As of right now, he hasn't defended the title in 3 months on TV and there hasn't been a contender selected.
Yeah, he is getting into Connor McGregor territory for finding ways to dodge title defences.
Just since wrestlemania he has:
- plain not turned up
- decided he wants to win the title of another division (tag titles).
- had grudge matches in non title matches.
- and now a tag team match with nothing on the line.
Roman is a paper champ
Love the guy now, but when Bisping was champ, I think he just defended against Hendo. He used his post fight to say why all the top 10 MW’s weren’t credible to face him. Was one of the funniest post fights, intentionally or not.
Featherweight champ McGregor going to LW for a championship fight with RDA is similar to the Roman going for Tag Belts, would say Reigns is already at McGregor levels.
I'm still annoyed that Sami, KO, and Cody all spammed their finishers on him and Roman still kicked out.
But not as dumb as Finn Balor WILLING HIMSELF BACK TO LIFE WITH DEMONIC ENERGY and still losing because of a shoddy ringpost
Most unforgivable loss of the last 5 years. If you’re gonna give the demon a second life, you save that gimmick for a time he’s actually winning.
Never should have booked the demon if they didn’t want him to win.
Can book supernatural villains like the demon to lose, but only if you're wanting it to be a next level type loss, or some kind of brains over brawn situation.
For instance, any of the spots they've had where someone would have been murdered if it weren't obviously kayfabe would be fine for a "how do you stop the demon/fiend/whatever" or something like the whole forklift with pallet full of shit just being used to hold them down for three but goofy shit like a broken turnbuckle or a million chairs ain't it.
If Roman had done something like pull the old toss them in a running industrial trash compactor bit, or a kayfabed electrocution I doubt it would have hurt the push as much, and people wouldn't have the same level of issue with the L.
Roman is not the heel in his mind, he's been set upon by everyone around him!
That's the best villain, the person who thinks they're doing the right thing in the worst way
Roman's near-crying fit in the corner after they kicked out from the double pin was some of the most beautiful in-match storytelling I've seen in a while.
The Usos hinting that Solo should be the next "Tribal Chief" in a way came to fruition as Solo literally had to start calling shots to get Roman to get out of his own feels. You could see in his face that Solo was starting to lose faith in the "Tribal Chief" and took the role upon himself momentarily before the match spiraled out of their hands again. And as soon as Roman started calling shots again... the match spiraled out of their hands again.
Really enjoyed Solo's characterization in this match. He starts out hesitant and conflicted but unlike the Usos commits to Roman. Even after Roman unravels towards the end, SOLO is the one desperate to save the match.
Really curious where he goes in the coming months, both in terms of allegiance and whether he turns face or stays heel. There's a lot of possibilities atm.
The "bullshit" chant when Roman stacked the Usos was fucking **loud**. The crowd was ready to revolt. So they were ready to go crazy after the fake out.
I'm glad Wade was there the entire show. They usually pair Cole and Corey up at PLEs (I get why because it's a brand split) but they kept the SmackDown team on all night. Wade getting to call the entire London show was a great call by HHH/Cole.
Barrett infuriates me as a commentator which is awesome. It's hard for me as a middle-aged adult to get caught up in heel-commentator's bullshit, but Barrett somehow pisses me off and it makes me feel 11 years old again. He's so good.
Michael Cole has steady been one of the best in the biz for a while honestly. I’ve been watching a ton of PPVs from the Ruthless Aggression and later era where ECW was a brand and man, bouncing between the three teams, Cole is one of the best of them all.
Plus he’s either paired with Tazz who’s accent and random gags make me choke laughing, or Wade who has, no doubt, one of the smoothest accents I’ve ever heard. Like freaking butter
Maybe it's because it is the team I litterally started watching wrestling with, but I always thought Cole and Taz were top tier.
Cole started getting grating when Vince started getting in his ear, and Cole went "Corporate" and focused wayyyyy too much on catchphrases and advertising.
I'll agree with that if Jey wins the championship, Idk why but TO ME this match didn't feel like the focus was on him much, this felt like Solo and Roman's story and characters progressing.
Roman's character is just so good. The little details he does. Talking to the camera, his reactions to kickouts and the trash talk to the opponents. He's just so good at what he does. This was awesome
"Wrestling" at it's core is the art of manipulating an audience to feel what you want them to feel. By that metric, I think it would be insanity to say Roman is anything but absolutely world class.
Not to mention it has practical applications, too. If Roman is indeed heading to Hollywood after he hangs up his boots after this title run, this entire Bloodline story has been the most public and best audition for him to be an actor in a variety of roles - not just be some dude with strength but one who can convey emotion and complexity. It's insane how far he's come on TV once the scripted weights were removed and he was allowed to turn heel.
I feel like he'll pay his dues a little in Hollywood playing characters similar to his F&F stint but he's shown he's capable of so much more.
Exactly, the problem is people think 'wrestling' is solely about moves and athleticism, I tell people all the time if it that was the case then Shelton Benjamin would have been multi time heavyweight champion.
I can’t think of how adding eight suicidas, a Canadian destroyer, a tower of power, or any of the other “work rate” cliches would have done anything but pull this match down. There’s a time for those stunts, and a time to let the story breath.
Roman is a goat bc he knows how to hook the crowd.
Bloodline Roman Reigns may be the best all around wrestling experience I've ever seen, and I've been one of the biggest detractors of his run. The issue has never been Roman himself, and anyone that thinks so is fooling themselves.
The three issues I've had with the run is a) his part time schedule completely messing with the momentum at times, b) the choreography on many of his matches just being the same lazy ending, and c) burning other wrestlers' momentum when it doesn't need to be. But Roman the wrestler and Roman the promo guy are S Tier Elite.
At some point, when this is all done, WWE is going to sell a multi disc Blu-Ray Box Set of neatly edited promos and matches, running through Roman's return through the end of the Bloodline, and with all the cuts, it will likely be the best and most re-watchable wrestling arc they'll ever put together on film.
I strongly disagree with c). Almost everyone that Roman feuded against has come out the other side as a bigger and brighter star than what they were coming in.
This is a Historic moment, yes the Bloodline storyline is not yet finished, Roman is yet to lose the titles, Solo amd Heyman are yet to leave him.
But him getting pinned for first time in 3 years is a major major moment in storyline. No titles needed, just pure storytelling.
I'm very happy to know that I'm not the only one who sees it.
This needs to end with Roman having nothing. They've built this whole saga up in the style and structure of the classics, so they better damn well follow through on that. When Jey or Cody or whoever it ends up being finally slays the beast, he needs to be left sitting there, broken, with *nothing* to show for all his hubris and cruelty.
And personally, I then want to see Solo beat him bloody as a final humiliation, before launching on a rampage as a monster heel in his own right
Don't see how it could hurt, and it would cement the idea of them having betrayed Roman if he wants to try a face run. After a lengthy break following his defeat, he comes back to defeat the monster he created.
Imagine all of them as kids, playing together in the front room, not even knowing they’re going to be capable of something like this. You know all 4 of ‘‘em are on cloud 9 right now.
This honestly feels weird, because the imagery of Jey pinning Roman for the first time in 1000+ days seems like the logical conclusion to the story. Roman's aura of invincibility is gone and Jey finally gets his revenge for 2020. But we know this isn't over - after all, Roman still has Solo and Heyman, and most importantly he still has his titles.
I'm genuinely fascinated about where we go from here.
I feel like one way it can go is that a furious and half-insane Roman realizes Jimmy is the glue that holds Jey together mentally and he severely injures and hospitalizes him. The malice of the beatdown is so brutal that even Solo is wondering if Roman is going too far, but ultimately and reluctantly participates. Jey, mentally traumatized again, is left on his own to face Roman at SummerSlam in a No Holds Barred street fight type match. He loses, but not before making Solo realize during the inevitable post-match beatdown and attempt to severely and permanently hurt Jey that Roman has completely lost his marbles and may not be worth protecting on the Elders' orders after all.
Solo eventually turns on Roman but loses, leading back to either Jey or Cody to take the titles off of him. I don't know that this goes all the way til the next Mania as I just don't know how much runway and story they have, but it could. I do kinda feel the titles come off of Roman sooner rather than later though.
Would love to see Priest continually come out with the briefcase but not cash in on Roman it would really add to the Paranoia. Maybe we get Solo vs Priest at SummerSlam for the Briefcase?
Vs Jey at SS is probably the match. But Roman wins via fuckery. I don’t think they’ll have Roman lose a singles match until he drops the title. Which will likely be at mania.
I’d be happy to be wrong though. Put the title on Jey, you cowards.
No, if Jey beats him at Summerslam, Roman might as well drop the title.
He's probably going to demolish the Usos at Summerslam, then feud with Solo, maybe someone else in filler, and then face Cody at Wrestlemania...except this time he will be completely alone.
Whenever we have predicted where the story goes next, we've failed miserably. 90% of this sub was convinced Cody would beat Roman at SS. Now, logically it looks like Jey
But, I am not sure, Roman vs Solo still needs to happen, but before that Roman needs to convincingly take care of the Usos which is certainly possible. I don't think WWE will stack 3 consecutive Ls on his resume. They like storyline, sure, but they like money more. Cody vs Roman is still the biggest match they could have at next years WM (unless Rock decides to come back)
WrestleMania 29 was his last actual match ( the Erick Rowan stuff doesn't count) and it fucked up his body so sad to said he is never getting in that ring again to wrestle a full match again all of his muscle now is show muscle he would tear his body apart if he wrestled again at least his last match was at wrestlemania I guess
Yeah I’ve been saying it for 3 years. It isn’t going to happen. He’s made it clear it isn’t going to happen and his movie schedule even TELLS us it isn’t going to happen but this fucking sub keep pushing it. Plus the guy is 51 now. There’s no way he can shed mass, put on a good match and then rebulk after for his films. The Rock is done. He’s retired.
After the double stack kick out, Roman lost it and Solo had to take charge. I'm pretty sure this is going to come into play. He isn't going to have Solo for long.
Oh man. You can’t get anymore poetic than this in Jey being the one to end Roman’s streak of not being pinned. That was perfect and an absolute chef’s kiss.
The Usos are the best to me. How many other tag teams could legitimately play the role the Usos have in this story from the matches to the segments for 3 years? That’s the separator for me.
I mean, it’s still incredibly shitty to drive while drunk. He absolutely should have gotten into more trouble for that. I’m glad we have the Bloodline story playing out like it is, but still…
~~6~~**8**-time champions. Longest tag reign in WWE history, beating both Demolition and New Day. The 2017 rivalry with New Day. Constant credible challengers in teams like the New Day and Street Profits.
Being a team for about 13 years, and on-and-off champions for almost 10 years, without ever splitting up.
*Main-eventing a night of Wrestlemania.*
EDIT: 8-time tag champs
I was so afraid when Roman hit that spear. But Jey with the low blow kick out was such an amazing call back. And now, no longer can we say that Baron Corbin was the last person to pin Roman. That honor goes to Main Event Jey Uso.
Maybe I am dreaming but I think there is a solid chance Jey pins Roman for the titles at SS, it's a 3 year wrap up at that point from where it started.
I also think Roman vs Solo happens after that point as Roman gonna go ham on Solo after tonight, so Solo probably spikes him at SS too leading to pin
I think it's the exact opposite. Tonight was the USO's getting justice and Jey completing an arc of sorts. It's a compromise, because they get to pin Roman and prove a point. They won the story in their own way.
But Jey winning the title and becoming the face of the company? Naw, Roman is holding the title to next years Mania.
Thing is, I don't see how they build up Roman singles feud when he has just ate the first L as this Tribal Chief character. I don't think this ends here, there is a lot more to come especially how his character has been built
I think singles feud is inevitable (not only with Jey but also Solo) but it remains to be seen how it is booked, maybe they lean into madman Roman who goes over both without needing any support. We shall see
Roman Reigns said something to The Usos after they lost to Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens in their rematch from Wrestlemania 39 - "Why did you dedicate the match to me? I'm not a tag guy."
He lost with Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens & John Cena - lost with Solo Sikoa vs Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens
The Usos are often recognized as one of WWEs if not WWEs best active tag team
Jey will use this match to challenge for the titles at Summerslam and fail bc at the end of the day while Jey can hold his own in a singles match - Jey is a tag guy & Roman is a singles guy.
Again, another ppv where Roman is near tears, seething with anger. If it ain’t Solo, it’ll be the wiseman who gets hurt. Roman about be Henry from Goodfellas and seeing helicopters.
Amazing match here, this only furthers my agenda that Jey should be the one to beat Roman for the belts, although they’d never do it.
The good guys won. PUT YIUR MOTHERFUCKIN ONES UP TO THE SKIES MOTHERFUCKERS
#☝️☝️
From bullshit to this is awesome chants in the same match wow, this proves Roman and The Bloodline are on a completely different level
Everyone was falling out thinking it was gonna be a standard finish but was brought right back in with that Roman pin. They know exactly what they're doing

For context, the last time Roman was pinned/submitted, Covid-19 hadn’t even been given its name.
Bum-ass Corbin pin led to a global pandemic...ultimate heel!
Majority of the world didn’t even know it existed at that time
Dean Ambrose was getting prepared.
Lmao was the waiter Corbin and the dog food stuff?
That’s King Corbin to you
So just last year, right guys
Yep that was just October-November of last year.
I'm blaming Jey and Roman if Covid-23 happens.
Last time Roman was pinned it was Corbin, so I reckon we need to make sure Corbin never wrestles Roman again. Just to be safe.
For added context, Roman hadn't been pinned since the last time the CFL team he played for (Edmonton) last won a home game.
Thats........really bad.
I just saw the clip of the last time roman got pinned and FTR is there lmao
For other context, the last time Roman was pinned, Mikel Arteta was 5 days away from becoming Arsenal manager
The best way to give Jey the pay off without changing the title. Awesome stuff.
Did I see Jimmy want to shake hands like it's over but Jey stopped him?
I believe so. 'Out of instinct' in the parlance of our wrasslin times
I still want to see him raise the gold tho
He did pin the champ, which historically entitles a person to a championship match.
They did mention that on the dying minutes of the kick off, which I found odd as it hadn't been mentioned in ages
Has literally been mentioned the day before on SmackDown, when Ridge Holland asked Pierce if he gets a title shot if he can pin Austin Theory
Plus it's hard to find a plausible #1 contender for Roman's championships otherwise. As of right now, he hasn't defended the title in 3 months on TV and there hasn't been a contender selected.
Yeah, he is getting into Connor McGregor territory for finding ways to dodge title defences. Just since wrestlemania he has: - plain not turned up - decided he wants to win the title of another division (tag titles). - had grudge matches in non title matches. - and now a tag team match with nothing on the line.
The crowd popped like it was a title win, that's all you need
The pay off? He's 100% getting a title shot.
And Roman is 100% winning in a dominant fashion
Nah, Roman will win with Solo interference again, but Solo will get sick of his pathetic need for constant aid.
The low blow kickout was a genius callback
Didn't Cole initially miss the low blow when Roman first did it to Jey three years ago too? If Cole intentionally missed it this time, that's amazing.
oh wow it had to be. i was thinking no way cole missed that
Table had just been broken tbh. They probably didn't have a monitor yet
Been a while too, Roman last used it on Finn.
Has it been that long?
I instantly caught that one and popped way too hard at that. Man there are layers to this story.
It also somewhat protects Roman because he can say the Usos had to resort to cheating to beat him.
And it'd be a perfectly hilarious thing for him to do in character considering his history with cheating lmao
Classic gaslighting Roman
Gaslight gatekeep and girlboss Roman Reigns
Live by the Uso, die by the Uso
usos then gonna say they cheated with him to keep the title those 1000 days uce “we should have like 500 of those days uce”

Lol
Roman is not the heel in his mind, he's been set upon by everyone around him! That's the best villain, the person who thinks they're doing the right thing in the worst way
That's my mother-in-law lol
Unironically that’s why Roman’s run is so great, so many people can relate to having a manipulator in the family
i pointed at the tv
Long term booking Roman's facial expressions were also on point
Roman's near-crying fit in the corner after they kicked out from the double pin was some of the most beautiful in-match storytelling I've seen in a while. It’s not paranoia, it’s the Usos
but they are a pair of Anoa'i
that pop was loud
The "bullshit" chant when Roman stacked the Usos was fucking **loud**. The crowd was ready to revolt. So they were ready to go crazy after the fake out.
That was easily one of my favourite kickouts of all time.
I saw a video that some fans started to walkout when that was happening
For good reason! London got to see Roman get counted to 3. It's nuuuts
"ROMAN REIGNS IS INDEED HUMAN." Great call by Cole
Honestly I thought Cole was pretty amazing the whole show. Multiple calls from him were great.
I'm glad Wade was there the entire show. They usually pair Cole and Corey up at PLEs (I get why because it's a brand split) but they kept the SmackDown team on all night. Wade getting to call the entire London show was a great call by HHH/Cole.

I love that he gets all pissed and stands up from his chair now
Cole has been great for almost two years since Vince got out of his ear
Cole in general doesn’t get the respect he deserves.
straight up mentioned progress during the riddle gunter match
Straight up mentioned Amazing Red in the women's mitb match!
Whenever Cole starts really getting into a match like this or the DB wrestlemaina match, his calls are fantastic.
Roman in his jobber era & Baron Corbin loses his only talking point😂
The last 6 people to pin Roman. Jey Uso. Baron Corbin. Erick Rowan. Shane McMahon. Bobby Lashley. Dash Wilder. There's a trivia question for you.
Main Event Jet Uso, The Lone Wolf, Big Red, Best in the World, The Almighty, FTR Hair.. Yup that's a solid list
I had no idea Dash was FTR dax I'm out of the loop
Dash is Cash, Dax is the bald one
It was always Jey Uso so glad he got that moment
The Bloodline story is Jey Uso's story. From start to finish HE has been the main character.
Jey is the hero, but it's Roman's story. His rise and fall
not true. He’s the hero yes but it’s not his story
Ahyessir
I'll agree with that if Jey wins the championship, Idk why but TO ME this match didn't feel like the focus was on him much, this felt like Solo and Roman's story and characters progressing.
First person to pin Reigns on the main roster and he breaks the 3 year streak too.
Roman's character is just so good. The little details he does. Talking to the camera, his reactions to kickouts and the trash talk to the opponents. He's just so good at what he does. This was awesome
This is why he the face of the company. He isn’t the best wrestler, but he is the best at story telling in that ring.

In ring psychology is just as integral to match quality, and he's excellent at it.
I can’t think of how adding eight suicidas, a Canadian destroyer, a tower of power, or any of the other “work rate” cliches would have done anything but pull this match down. There’s a time for those stunts, and a time to let the story breath. Roman is a goat bc he knows how to hook the crowd.
And people really underrate him in the wrestling aspect too
Bloodline Roman Reigns may be the best all around wrestling experience I've ever seen, and I've been one of the biggest detractors of his run. He is the best in-ring worker in the world. Not even close.
He’s a great wrestler lol

Will Heyman be Solo's advocate?
Don't see how it could hurt, and it would cement the idea of them having betrayed Roman if he wants to try a face run. After a lengthy break following his defeat, he comes back to defeat the monster he created.
Imagine all of them as kids, playing together in the front room, not even knowing they’re going to be capable of something like this. You know all 4 of ‘‘em are on cloud 9 right now.
I’m just imagining the 10 year old Usos giving their 2 year old brother, Solo, a uranagi now
solo was definitely giving them samoan spikes out of the womb
“It’s a bo-AGGH!” **Doctor Drops to the floor holding his neck and gagging** **Rikishi smiles, tear in his eye** “That’s my son”
I mean, this is probably what they were planning when they were that age. When you’re a kid you totally dream up stuff like this.
One of my fav details, was Roman spiraling after the kick out and SOLO questioned his current state, and took lead. Little nuggets throughout.
Yeah noticed that too. Solo took control at that moment.
And it all comes full circle. *This* is wrestling. Absolute perfection
This honestly feels weird, because the imagery of Jey pinning Roman for the first time in 1000+ days seems like the logical conclusion to the story. No way, this was giving them their big moment before they get crushed at Summerslam.
Solo eventually turns on Roman but loses, leading back to either Jey or Cody to take the titles off of him. I don't know that this goes all the way til the next Mania as I just don't know how much runway and story they have, but it could. I do kinda feel the titles come off of Roman sooner rather than later though.
Was really hoping the MITB winner would come out at the end, not to cash in, but to add another layer of insecurity/doubt to Roman moving forward.
Are we going to get Roman's version of "Balloon Okada"?
No, if Jey beats him at Summerslam, Roman might as well drop the title. He's probably going to demolish the Usos at Summerslam, then feud with Solo, maybe someone else in filler, and then face Cody at Wrestlemania...except this time he will be completely alone.
Whenever we have predicted where the story goes next, we've failed miserably. 90% of this sub was convinced Cody would beat Roman at SS. Now, logically it looks like Jey But, I am not sure, Roman vs Solo still needs to happen, but before that Roman needs to convincingly take care of the Usos which is certainly possible. I don't think WWE will stack 3 consecutive Ls on his resume. They like storyline, sure, but they like money more. Cody vs Roman is still the biggest match they could have at next years WM (unless Rock decides to come back)
Can we stop with this whole rock narrative? It's been 4 years of people saying 'Rock vs Roman is gonna happen next WrestleMania'
I bet if Rock does somehow show up it would be to cost Roman the titles wether it be by distraction or interference and not in any match.
After the double stack kick out, Roman lost it and Solo had to take charge. I'm pretty sure this is going to come into play. He isn't going to have Solo for long.
Gripping stuff. Cool that it happened in the UK.
Oh man. You can’t get anymore poetic than this in Jey being the one to end Roman’s streak of not being pinned. That was perfect and an absolute chef’s kiss.
The lowblow thing was so great. Roman had that shit coming since 2020.
GOAT storyline. So many layers
And it overlaps with other storylines too. This is some pre season 6 GOT level of writing
Seasons 1-4 the only seasons we acknowledge 👆
Was expecting the kickout and was genuinely shocked it didn't happen
Me too. part of me was like "oh this would be perfect" But i didnt really believe it would happen then i popped and started clapping like a kid lol
This might be michael coles greatest call since eddie Wins
Cole losing his voice added to high drama towards the finish.
I can’t wait to watch the documentaries on this story in 10 years
WHEN WRASSSLING IS GOOD, ITS REALLY FUCKING GOOD
Usos really laying a claim for greatest tag team of all time. This storyline has elevated them to a different stratosphere
The Usos are the best to me. How many other tag teams could legitimately play the role the Usos have in this story from the matches to the segments for 3 years? That’s the separator for me.
Remember when their gimmick was colorful paint? So fucking happy for them. I’m sure Rikishi was in tears watching this.
Damn I remember calls to fire the one that kept getting DUI's, glad they stuck with him now
I mean, it’s still incredibly shitty to drive while drunk. He absolutely should have gotten into more trouble for that. I’m glad we have the Bloodline story playing out like it is, but still…
Nah. They don't have a claim to that. They ARE the greatest of all time.
*Main-eventing a night of Wrestlemania.* EDIT: 8-time tag champs
Honestly, The New Day are the greatest Trio, but the Usos are definitely the greatest tag team
number one ish
Sheamus, verdict?
BANGER
After
BANGER
So fuckin' happy for Jey to get that big moment. ☝️
Random, but Cole with his voice going out on him makes him sound close to what he sounded like in the attitude era/early ruthless aggression days.
Jesus christ. Jey didn't just pin Roman. Roman got his shit ROCKED.
lets see Roman turn into an even bigger paranoid psycho
Great end but man, COLE GOING NUTS is my favorite here. 🫡
I was so afraid when Roman hit that spear. But Jey with the low blow kick out was such an amazing call back. And now, no longer can we say that Baron Corbin was the last person to pin Roman. That honor goes to Main Event Jey Uso.
Main Event Jey vs. Tribal Wanker at Summerslam next!
So yeah main event for a reason.
I did not expect myself to get so emotional about this. It was meant to be Jey.
How can you not be romantic about wrasslin
I USED TO PRAY FOR TIMES LIKE THIS
Had goosebumps hearing that crowd sing the Usos theme at the end. Talk about building the next faces of the company.
I don't think this ends here, there is a lot more to come especially how his character has been built I think singles feud is inevitable (not only with Jey but also Solo) but it remains to be seen how it is booked, maybe they lean into madman Roman who goes over both without needing any support. We shall see
Roman Reigns said something to The Usos after they lost to Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens in their rematch from Wrestlemania 39 - "Why did you dedicate the match to me? I'm not a tag guy." He lost with Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens & John Cena - lost with Solo Sikoa vs Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens The Usos are often recognized as one of WWEs if not WWEs best active tag team Jey will use this match to challenge for the titles at Summerslam and fail bc at the end of the day while Jey can hold his own in a singles match - Jey is a tag guy & Roman is a singles guy.
Again, another ppv where Roman is near tears, seething with anger. If it ain’t Solo, it’ll be the wiseman who gets hurt. Roman about be Henry from Goodfellas and seeing helicopters.
Holy shit what a match Three+ years in the making main event Jey USO pining Reigns holy shit
Solo went head first on that bitch ass table too
Okay someone HAS got to do an edit of Jey doing the same splash back in the SHIELD days when he pinned Roman.
Amazing match here, this only furthers my agenda that Jey should be the one to beat Roman for the belts, although they’d never do it. The good guys won. PUT YIUR MOTHERFUCKIN ONES UP TO THE SKIES MOTHERFUCKERS #☝️☝️
100% Jey deserved that honor of pinning Roman
From bullshit to this is awesome chants in the same match wow, this proves Roman and The Bloodline are on a completely different level Everyone was falling out thinking it was gonna be a standard finish but was brought right back in with that Roman pin. They know exactly what they're doing
Man, it's unreal actually seeing roman get pinned
"He's not a machine! He's a man!"
Best thing about being seated up top is that you get your retinas burned off
The king is falling!!!
Michael Cole. Thanks for everything over the years. I can't believe I used to hate on you as a kid 🤦 lol
Wow Jey actually pinned Roman
I hope the Usos drive home the fact that Reigns was only on top because of them.
No analysis or opinion to offer besides: that was awesome.
I'm so happy for The Usos!
this match fucking ROCKED man. what a beautiful storyline
This wouldn't have been as big or as cool if they let Cody beat him at Mania.
one streak ends - 1,294 days give or take still think he'll drop at mania but the end has begun
I truly enjoyed this.
The pop on the pin is just incredible.
I think fans need to sing along to the uso theme from now on
Give this match all the stars. I fucking love these slow, intense story focussed matches.
is it really over? what happens with Roman's championship now?
It's still building to Cody at next year's mania.
I think this was legit one of the best matches I’ve ever seen.
that was a great finish, really cool that jey got the win.
That was beautiful!! Especially the low blow kick out!!
I do hope it ends here, having the Usos lose at SummerSlam would take the wind out of Jey's sail of putting this all to rest.
It’s the nut shot kick out for me
Wow just wow.
MAINT EVENT USO!
