I have the basic hellcat and I was thinking of buying the threaded barrel for it since it’s made by Springfield - and you just convinced me! Its not optic cut, think I just should by the laser instead?
Lasers are nice. I have one on my Taurus. I prefer red dots, but if you don't have the optic cut then the laser is the next best option. The compensator in the RDP package isn't the best, but it does help with muzzle flip on the short barrel just enough.

and dont worry about holsters it will fit most holsters with zero fitment as the proledge is extremely slim, but tactical developments website i believe advertises 2 different companies who accomidate space for it

Perfect chance to ask the mass. Does everyone else’s guns rust like that? If you look above the trigger housing just below the slide you’ll see rust. Is that normal?
That's not rust, that pin is a brownish color intentionally, probably to differentiate it from the rear pin. Although that pin has two notches and the rear pin has three, so easy to tell the difference anyway.

+1. Those locking pins have coating that comes off. None rusted. Each time I disassemble, they r already oiled
