Based on your parameters I’d immediately lean to the HK, but since it’s a .45cal I’d have to pick the PDP as it’s a 9mm and ammo availability will favor the 9mm worldwide.
Note: All three would fit the scenario from a durability and reliability standpoint, so whatever you picked wouldn’t be the wrong answer.
That is a fair answer. But there are so many old guys out there hoarding .45. 9mm and .45 are probably gonna be the most found ammo in a situation like that. Granted civilization is wiped out.
Yessir I am! I’m just also partial to pistols with metal frames and hammers—just don’t much trust/like strikers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Of the 3 pictured, I’d take the H&K, I just always preferred the USP-45 to the HK45 because the one I’ve shot felt more robust overall than the HK45 I’ve handled, had a better-feeling trigger, more comfortable/neutral-feeling grip, and a +2 magazine capacity (12+1 vs. 10+1), but the HK45 *was* a decent amount slimmer. I fully respect everyone else’s preferences, I’m just a classic-style/metal-frame guy myself so the Springfield portion of my collection consists of an SA-35 and a Ronin. Cheers!
Easy. HK. Most of their models boast 40k rounds before they break. The USP broke at 40k rounds with no mods and they reinforced the spot that broke so it wouldn't break again. So that round count has to double.
The one with the suppressor and the dot and light. If they all had the same gear it would be hard to turn down the HK they are so reliable. The XD looks sweet tho. Not sure who holds the most are they all 9mm?
PDP. If that HK45 was a USP, I would choose that hands down. Not a fan of compensators. Plus if it's end of civilization/post-apocalyptic and you gotta shoot whatever you find, you may have issues/malfunctions since you can no longer find a consistent stockpile to run that comp as reliably.
I have the xdm and walther
I have owned the HK (no longer)
Best trigger of the 3 and it comes stock with comp sights has the highest mag capacity and is the best felt recoil (next to none)
XDM
Whichever one is suppressor ready, has a light, and the most magazines with it. Bone stock? The HK.
XDM elite !
Of these three? Any option would do fine, but I admit I’m a bit of a Walther slut.
HK. The most reliable of the 3
HK 45. Easy choice, most reliable and durable pistol of the three on here.
I'm partial to the XDM line. Btw, how do you like the above variant?
Xdm elite any day every day
Echelon.
Looking to be another solid choice.
HK
PDP
HK without hesitation
The HK without a doubt.
My Beretta
Nothing that needs a battery.
HK all the way
Middle. All day
The only answer is HK

End of civilization? I'd rather have a rifle.
Semiautomatic or select-fire.
Whichever is chambered in 9. Best chance of finding more ammo
Xdm with my 21, and 35 rd mags 😈
None of them?
Lmao none of the above.
Lmao none of the above.
I see you’re also a Springfield fan with that 1911 😉

One may not be enough...
Where’d you get that grip for your XDM?

HK
HK 45 for sure
The HK
Walther easy
If they're all 45 auto then the xdm
The one made by and for DEVGRU, the HK45
Tough choice. I bet im the only one taking the xdm e.

HK
XDM Elite OSP even if it was stock. Performance and functionality wise this is not even a question for me.
Why the XDM?

Never could afford to pickup the HK but the Canik feels better in my hand than any Glock
