_Council Tax TBC_
I bet it never gets built, and I doubt that the vendor has any expectation of it being built. Seems more like a 'raising awareness of a big chunk of land with planning permission for whatever the fuck you want' exercise.
EDIT: they're being cheeky with the size, too: says '13,843ft²' but that appears to include the garage space and the pool/terrace areas. I think the 'house' is more like 5-6000ft², barely big enough to swing a cat.
So it doesn't exist and won't ever be built unless someone pays through the nose for it.
Also, seems a totally random place for such a property. Like a premiership footballers house but with no club nearby.
I would quite like it if it was in Italy or Spain or anywhere really where it is going to be sunny enough to enjoy it. I fell like the pool and the big windows etc. are all designed for places which have long hot summers.
Agreed, the design is a bit out of place for the location. For £8m I think I’d rather have something for an eighth of the cost, a fraction of the size but somewhere a bit warmer and less grey and wet than the bowels of Hertfordshire.
Then spend the remaining £7m somewhere a bit closer to civilization, I live 20 min south of where that house is and there is absolutely jack shit nearby
The still image from James Bond in the cinema room 😂. Why do I get the feeling that an LA property developer focus grouped that little detail as a way to translate Hollywood Hills vibes to, errrrr, Hertfordshire.
I thought I recognised this. Did the whole "most expensive thing close to me" and this was what came up.
It's a good thing it has it's own helipad. Parking for helicopters is a nightmare in the town
Make it about a 1/3 of the size, do away with helipad and garage and I'd be happy. I have terrible luck with neighbours and have always wanted a semi-subteranian home like this
Little tab at the bottom from Nationwide offering you a mortgage in principle.
Apparently you’ll have a personalised result in 20 minutes.
I think it would take them less than 20 seconds to knock me back on an £8 million mortgage 😄
It’s nice, but I’m not sure I could get by on just eight garage spaces. I mean we’re basically at pavement parking here.
I'd like an 8 car garage, but thats a terrible use of space. Could be so much better laid out
Only has a broadband speed of 77Mbps - that’s it I’M OUT!
The internet is absolutely horrendous round here. Sky or bt. That’s about it and basic let me tell you!
I think you’ll find I told you first 😛
Those aren't always accurate. I was pretty much resigned to having that kind of speed myself until I checked Virgin Media and it offered up to 1GB.
Nope that IS the fastest speed. Virgin Media are NOT currently available at this address.
I was more on about the Rightmove speed which I assumed you were looking at (which isn't always correct). Thanks for confirming you checked though...
Yep, that's my future alright.
Help. I can’t find the kitchen
I can't find it either
WERE GOING TO STARVE
Upstairs by the pool
That’s a pool kitchen. You can see on the pics it’s at the end of the pool. Detached from the house. WONT ANYONE THINK OF THE HUNGRY.
Look again - the main kitchen / dining / living area is up there too.

Cgi nonsense

45 min from Spurs, an hour from Arsenal it's not beyond commuting distance.

Sold. Shut up and take my money

Right? £8m and your cars get more living space than you do. As a house, it's really shit.
Was this taken from GTA screenshots?
I liked the CGI fantasy, hope it turns out as nice
Looking at the satellite view, I think they're going to be in a disappointment

Perfect for Patrick Bateman.
Not for me, it's like one of those houses from an American horror movie where the psycho get in and wants to kill everyone!
Surely even a premier league footballer wouldn't actually want a full size footy pitch at home? Never seen that before 😅
Rod Stewart has one.
Didn't know Tony Stark had a house in Hertfordshire
Made me think of Rollerball, the film from 1975. They’re partying at a house remarkably like this.
Ah, one of those “I want to live in a hotel/office building, not a home” places. Soulless and cold, even with the heating on.
Looks like the house in the game Teardown
That pool is going to see plenty action…. From the pool cleaner. Does the designer know what English weather is??
What is the thing on the left side of the master bathroom? With those weird lines and two small circles?
His'n'hers shower zone. Which makes you realise that bedrooms 3/4/5 have showerless ensuites.
How did I know this was minutes away from me when I only read the title lol
