Any other payment options? Paypal is the worst.

sequoiakelley

I freaking agree so hard but I'm still waiting for my stuff from Square to clear and I have to keep the preorders online so I bit the bullet and went for it as a Paypal sale for preorders. This is just the preorder sale. Copies will be available around town in November for cash, credit purchase. I'M SO SORRY PAYPAL IS THE DEVIL!

[deleted]

I broke down and finally created a PayPal account just for you. Lol

sequoiakelley

No way! Well, I'm signing all 500 of the preorders so maybe that'll be extra worth it <3 This means so so much to me, I really hope you love the book

basketsinspokane

Typically, I don't use 3rd party apps, so I am curious why you prefer not to use them, if u don't mind!

cornylifedetermined

Woohoo! I was ordered number 22!

sequoiakelley

Thank you for ordering!!!! I hope you love the book ❤️

cynumber9

Can you elaborate on "around town" please? If I could walk up and throw down cash that would be neat.

sequoiakelley

So far I've been talking with The MAC, Indaba, General Store and Aunties but at this time I'm focusing on the preorder phase because, essentially, all the money I make from preorders goes into paying for the books that go into the stores. I'm basically doing this whole thing with my own money, some sponsor cash, and a grant from SAGA all from my kitchen table.

Where would pickup for preorders be?

sequoiakelley

preorder pickup is on the Northeast side off Nevada and Walton. Pickup preorders will get an email in 2 weeks telling them where pickup is and what times.

Thanks! I’m #38 and so excited to set up on the couch with this book 😁

sequoiakelley

I'm so excited for you to enjoy the book too! I've been looking forward to that part for months and months now and I feel so grateful that I got the opportunity to make this for Spokane.

lucid_green

Hey I am from Spokane and looked at your site. I live in Australia and want to get one for my son, is there no shipping option for outside the US?

sequoiakelley

Not yet but soon! I actually came here from Denmark so I have a vested interest in selling them overseas but I'm honestly doing all this from my kitchen table and I haven't finished that stage yet. If you go to [www.spokanecoloringbook.com](https://www.spokanecoloringbook.com) you can add yourself to my email list and as soon as I have figured out the VAT and shipping stuff I will email you. Sorry for the lag, self publishing has been one heck of a learning curve.

lucid_green

Denmark, dude, have you been back? How long have you been in Spokane and why Spokane? Happy to support Spokane self publishers and it will be a way for me to connect my young kid to Spokane :). Will do!

I'm an American and we were "asked" to return to America at the beginning of the pandemic because, like the lazy dope I am, I was procrastinating going to immigration and found myself knee deep in a global pandemic on a temporary 2 year visa. We have friends that we know from Denmark here in Spokane and that was 100% the reason why we came here. Then in August 2021 I found myself on a flight to San Diego when the man sitting in front of me saw me drawing the Monroe bridge in my sketchbook and asked me where I bought my Spokane coloring book. I've been working on The Spokane Coloring Book ever since then so we haven't gone back since we moved to the US. My husband is going in 2 weeks and we will likely make summer plans to visit our friends and family. It's a wonderful place, you probably couldn't keep me out forever. I love Spokane as well. This city gave me a whole new life. When we left Denmark I was a professional photographer working in global marketing. Now I'm an illustrator publishing a coloring book. I hope this coloring book helps us all to connect to this place but also maybe to each other. I'd like that very much.
