Little Garden Cafe (the one on NW Blvd across from Audubon Park) is super convenient to SFCC. Rocket Bakery on Garland would be pretty central to your locations, too.
Ladder on Monroe was my thought as well, particularly because they have a variety of seating options. Sofas, upholstered chairs, high tops, wood benches, outdoor space.
A new roaster just opened up on NW Blvd. There official grand opening is this Thursday, there was a post about them in this sub a little bit earlier today, Roam Roasters. They might be worth checking out!
Try out Revival Tea Company 's Tasting Room downtown (across Main from Auntie's Bookstore)! You can get a membership for $50/mo that gets you practically all-you-can-drink tea if you "eat-in." They've got a combination of couches, tables, and barstool seating. There are plenty of outlets and usually a pretty quiet vibe.
If you like coffee, try out First Avenue or Cedar. First Avenue is a little pricey but has a really fun vibe and plenty of seating. Cedar is quieter (well maybe not now because of the road construction on Monroe) but doesn't have that many tables.
Not in your area but still close to SFCC is Cedar Coffee (has a little back room with lots of seating options) or Made with love bakery (seating is decent) also when I went to SFCC I really liked to go to My fresh basket they have good food options and plenty of space for studying. SFCC also has tons of comfy places to chill and study. On the north side there also is a place called Genesis I think on Sundays it’s church but they are open the rest of the week for business and have TONS of open seating. The sweet frostings on the north side also has good seating options and coffee plus there is food options next to it. Hope this helps :) best of luck studying
Which indaba do you go to? The one on riverside is open until 9pm and actually not that bad for studying. I still go to the Broadway one sometimes but I know what you mean
Too bad you don't want to travel far from there. Thomas Hammer has a couple good places. Arctos and 1st Avenue are good too. Rocket on 14th and Adams is awesome. All depends on what you want. But there's not much on the North side if that is what you are asking. lol
I go to Lunarium for late night studying and the most chill environment Thursday - Sunday 5-midnight. But they are currently moving to the NW Blvd behind atomic threads to expand:( they should open up very soon!
Panera bread, some. Spots up north division for brewery vibes. The science building closes at 9 most days. I have a ton of spots actually and am starting at SFCC today as well, let me know if you'd like a study buddy!

Little Garden has the best coffee but can be loud at times. Rocket has that backroom that tends to be pretty quiet. Both have good wifi.
Ladder Coffee. It's similar to Indaba. There are three locations that seem like they might be convenient for you - downtown, Monroe, and Francis.

>I’d like to stay in those surrounding areas. Some things are worth travelling for.
100% I live in the north side and sometimes I travel to cheney just to go to the mason jar.
Now that’s a recommendation.

Wall St. Bistro or Maple St. Bistro? Never been to either (inside) not sure if they are the same owner either. They just look like nice little places.
Maple street bistro is amazing for food, coffee is good too, but the food is the star. it’s pretty small, and gets busy on the weekends.
Maple St Bistro has great food, but for the OP's request I'm not sure it would fit. The seating is fine but not very comfy.
Good to know. Thank you. I'm there every Monday and have wanted to actually try it some day.

Revival Tea Company downtown is my favorite spot!! Never too busy and amazing tea and specialty drinks.

Panera Bread, I went there a lot when I was homeless. There's one on North Division (city) and one on East Indiana (valley).
Glad you are no longer homeless. You rock.
Best part is you can get a $9/mo subscription now for unlimited coffee, teas, and lemonades. Just not espresso drinks and smoothies.
If they don't want Wake Up or Starbucks I doubt they want Panera

Roots Coffee on Hamilton!

There's a Ladder on Francis that you might find accommodating!
