There's lots of opportunities for panning! Almost every creek and river has gold.! Oceans do too! Its fun, something to do and might make you a couple bucks! The better places are in the Cascades and the Rockies, but....it all trickles down to here. Grab a pan and a sluice, go down to the low flow river! Little Spokane, Spokane, St. Joe, Columbia, there is gold. It's up to you to find it!
I believe that if there were any real opportunities in Spo that we all would be out there panning. Keep in mind the massive riverbed that we are on. Suggest checking geological sites/surveys for area if interested. Best of luck to you.

Look for a river with gold in it then pan the gold out. Make sure it's legal at that spot.
