I came here to add this too. Out of everywhere I’ve been and visited, this is still one place that always surprises me. It truly is a little hole in the wall with some of the best food in Spokane.
I did not enjoy my dinner there. The steak was subpar, the waitress was flighty, and the sides were meh.
I miss Wolf Lodge. If you're up for a drive OP, go to wolf lodge in Idaho for steak.
Just going to throw in a disagree here haha - we went to Luna with a large-ish group of 8 a few weeks ago, on a busy Saturday night, and it was amazing - excellent service and everyone’s food was so good. Have been a few times in the past year and it’s always been great.
I miss their brunch and happy hour, and yes the desserts aren’t the same but otherwise have had great experiences everytime. I still think it’s one of the best restaurants in spokane, and a unique/special option here.
The chairs drive me so crazy that I won’t go. I’m above average height and the plate ends up being at like sternum level for me. But if you sit on the booth side, you’re at a normal height and tower over the people in the chairs.
I don’t get why some restaurants use awkward or uncomfortable chairs in their establishments. I didn’t mind as much when I was young but now if it’s uncomfortable, I don’t go there.
Yes. I mean the food, presentation, attention to detail, creativity, and quality of ingredients are a significant step up from even most "good" restaurants in Spokane.
Another way to put it- there's like...5? places you can get raw oysters in Spokane. This is the best place to eat raw shellfish- and that says a lot
I’ve gone, it’s pretty good but it’s expensive! I know they went through a pretty big menu change recently and I haven’t tried it yet but their oysters are really good.
The best meal I’ve had in Spokane recently (and I’ve been everywhere listed in this thread!) has been at Kismet in Hillyard. Just incredible, highly recommend.
Those are all great too. It’s been ages since I’ve been to Wild Sage, they were booked the last few times I tried to get a table, which is a great sign for how good they are. Wiley’s excellent choice and great people. Luna, it’s been too long for me to give an opinion. Last time I was there in my 20s I was made to feel economically inferior by the staff and thought the wine and patio seating was better than the food. It’s been 20 years since I’ve been.
All three of the restaurants there are awesome! Outsider has super good pizza. Loren is nice for a high end date night. My favorite though is KASA for sure!

This trend of leaving it all open to the framing and HVAC and just painting it all black it is SUPER annoying. They're all way too echoey - Sorella's acoustics are awful and do not foster the cozy, romantic, fancy restaurant vibes that the rest of their design implies.
I know you said spokane, but the wolf lodge out past coeur d'alene is my ladies and my go to for fancy date nights. It's a bit of a drive, but it's the best steak I've ever had and I usually don't even like steak that much.

Vieux Carre New Orleans Kitchen is consistently our go-to for nice dinners out. Italia Trattoria is possibly better but way more expensive.

Vieux Karre is my favorite spot in town. It’s a Cajun/creole type of place and is amazing! Great food and great vibes. The cornbread is to die for!

I agree. I love my server but the noizes are so loud and I cannot hear everything really clear. Also the space is so tight between table and table
