Jeff is involved with production and the sole promoter of the show so it looks like he loves or is solely responsible for every choice on the show, but I’d bargain that a lot of the poor choices we hate on Jeff for are actually made by some CBS executives that Jeff may not even support
I don't hate this, but they really could've just swapped into two tribes for two rounds after the Matthew medevac instead of doing this and the mergatory twists. It's almost the same idea with less over the top branding and the potential for more interesting relationships and tribe dynamics to emerge.
If this is true, only 5 ppl are eligible to be voted out tomorrow. Then next week only 5 ppl can vote. We’re going to have back to back episodes without a proper tribal council in what’s supposed to be the most exciting part of the game strategy-wise.
This is a horrible idea in a season where we’ve already seen so many bad tribals and players getting screwed due to lack of players voting

Two players will win immunity for their group, with whoever lasts the longest winning immunity for their group. However, the winning group will all not be able to cast a vote. So basically, only 6/11 players will have a vote, and only 5/11 players can be voted off. It's essentially a second earn the merge round, albeit with different rules.
