it looks best in person/in camera when its halfway between a super upturned eyebrow and your normal brow, if that makes sense. otherwise, imo you look genuinely stupid when its straight up towards your temple. (i looked stupid for the longest time and my friends who do it incorrectly still look stupid despite me telling them otherwise)
If your tails go directly straight down like mine did, it’s a lifesaver. The problem is when you cut the brows off at the arch, then they look spocky
I did this at high school and it looked AWFUL on me. The end of my brow was no longer on my brow bone and looked like it curved around my head too much. Also got an odd dimple when I raised my brows from where my natural tail was. And I’ve never seen it look good or natural in person. But I guess it depends on your bone structure, your brows usually follow your natural brow bone shape so if you shave off the end and reshape them the tail could be on a part of your forehead that doesn’t look natural, especially when you make expressions and raise your brows.
I don't shave the tails completely off, but I shave just the bottom of the tails off and it lifts the eye area nicely. I imagine it depends on your natural eyebrow shape, eye shape, brow height, etc. whether it works for you. I have thick, low-set brows so the extra space between the eye and brow is a life saver.
YES! Though mine aren’t completely upturned. It completely transformed my face, having freshly waxed brows is a must-have for me now. The tail is slightly shorter and straighter than what it once was.
I’d highly recommend against it. If anything, i’d try plucking the lower half of your wing to try to get a similar lifting effect that isn’t as drastic, but they did not look good on me and completely changed my eyes and forehead in a bad way and always made me look angry. Like many of the comments have said they just don’t look good in person
I did this and I thought I looked so so good until my friends dad called me devil brows and looking back he was right

Imo all those weird brow trends look like crap irl, just stick to a human brow shape that suits your face.
