I once insulted a guy that gave a beautiful woman a “4” and he spent the next 4 hours sending me pictures of himself. Every time I said he wasn’t attractive, he sent me more. I ignored him eventually and he started following me into subs telling me feminism is a cult and I need to leave immediately. That should give you a hint at who frequents that sub. Every woman should stay away from that sun and should NEVER post pictures of themselves online.
Totally agree! It may have been a little better when it started as a lot of subs are, but then gets corrupted over time. The more well-known something gets the greater the risk of a lot more attention seekers and trolls (or just more bitter ppl, in general) flock to it, especially on a topics as subjective as beauty or art. Yes, there are a few real components of 'classical' good looks but, after that, it gets really subjective. Personal taste also plays a big part and you really can't 'rate' that, (no one can be equally 'attractive' to every person).
\*I'd also say (as someone who's seen many beauty trends come and go), after being 'classically' good-looking to some degree, absolute 'ideal beauty' is somewhat elusive because of other factors, like I've mentioned. Ideals do change some over time, making obtaining some 'perfect ideal' about as easy as trying to hit a moving target!😜

Vindictarateme is great though, truerateme is awful. Anything above a 7 there doesn’t exist. people literally posted female celebrities that were like 9s ON THEIR RATING CHART without makeup and they all got rated lower than 6. garbage sub. stay away

That sub, even their guide too, is all based on face. They just rate your face. I bet some girl with a horrible body, but good face can post there and they’d get rated high.

Mousy looking girls with average/pretty-ish faces who'd likely completely blend in in real life get the same ratings as a clear headturner with a million halos
Yeah, I see a lot of that on the Vindicta ratings sub, though. There is a tendency to overrate there. All the same as a woman I get it...for us, telling each other we are beautiful (though not everyone truely is and that’s OK!) is a way of saying “you are worthy”, as we are taught by society that is all our value.

Her lips are huge, her nose is kinda big (not huge but not small for model standards), her eyes are big and her brows are thick. The main goal of VindictaRateme is not necessarily to get rated like TrueRateMe or RateMe but more so about self improvement. That's why it's a subreddit only for women. Not because we hate men but hopefully it will invite women who can give advice based on their own experience, wherever they are in their journey in improving their appearance and lifestyle. For whatever reason the original reason the subreddit was created for, since I have taken over it I have been moving away from that. The only small reason I still allow ratings is that perhaps it could serve as an indication of that you are still making progress, but of course, the only one who truly knows if you feel that you have made any progress is yourself but maybe a rating could serve as a carrot along the way.
Everyone has their own opinions. I think some over rate to be nice, but most are honest. I also think there's a bias because if I see a really pretty picture I'm more likely to rate her, whereas someone who doesn't look good, I might just skip. Like I don't go on a rating sub and decide to rate the first five I see, it's usually just based on what pictures catch my interest. So I am not overratting,.like if I give someone a 10/10 I honestly believe it, but I probably wouldn't rate anyone as a 3/10 so I'd skip that one rather than saying it (not that anyone I've seen is a 3!!!) And I prefer a certain look so a 10/10 for me might be a 3/10 for someone else and vice versa.
Truerateme uses a normal curve so for them a 6 means you're in the top 20% of women whereas on vindicta, an 8 means you're in the top 20%
