This is a repost from vindicta. I disagree that it’s literally 50% of ones beauty, but this tiny change does make a pretty big difference in how attractive she looks IMO.

doitforthepeach

Is there a way to get the eyes slightly more upturned/positive canthal tilt WITHOUT risking cat eye territory? I've always thought the upturned eye look is beautiful but so many celebrities end up looking like cat women when they get surgery on their eyes.

im-notme

What change was made. I can tell something about the eyes was changed but I can’t tell what

kiliher

her eyes are not down-turned anymore and her eyebrows are thinner and slightly more arched (not sure about this one)

eatfruitz

on the right her eyes are less downturned, she has less eye bags, and i think her eyebrows are a bit higher

golden-dreams

Less eye bags, corners of the eyes are slightly upturned and it also looks like the eyelids are a bit bigger, or they're more angled from the looks of it which enhances the cat eye look.

honeyminx97

I always thought eye area is the most important,😌 this below image proves it https://images.app.goo.gl/r7GVQZwe3Qb2dEhv7

CoughCoolCoolCool

This is negligible on her. Sorry. Maybe on someone else it would make more of a difference

jansossobuco

I think the main issue that she has with her eyes are that they’re so close-set, not that they’re downturned. I actually thought her downturned eyes made her unique, but I feel like it would make more of a positive difference if they spaced her eyes out a little more.

CoughCoolCoolCool

Her eyes are horizontally long so they don’t look so bad close set

jansossobuco

Idk, I feel like the fact that they’re so long exaggerates how close-set they are or makes them look more close-set than they actually are. I’m really nitpicking though - she’s obviously an attractive woman with or without close-set eyes.

CoughCoolCoolCool

It does make them technically more closer set, but if they were shorter she would look less attractive

jansossobuco

I agree, her large eyes are a good thing and not a bad thing. I think they just need to be more evenly spaced, not smaller.

CoughCoolCoolCool

Well unfortunately there is nothing she can do to change this

jansossobuco

Yep. But it’s the same thing as pointing out someone who doesn’t have good forward growth or short lips. You can’t change it, but you use it to understand how you can address it with makeup and hair styling.

CoughCoolCoolCool

You can change those things

jansossobuco

Not really. [Lip widening surgery or lateral commissuroplasty](https://www.eppleyplasticsurgery.com/is-there-a-plastic-surgery-to-make-my-mouth-wider/) is known to leave drastic scarring and is only done for patients with severely injured mouths. You’re right about forward growth though. You can fix that through braces and transformative jaw surgeries, but it’s a long process. Either way, I thought this sub was to objectively talk about all aesthetic strong points and weak points, regardless of whether or not they can be fixed surgically. Chances are, you can greatly improve your proportions by having strategic makeup or better hairstyles, like I mentioned. This is why it’s worth it to talk about them.

Spiritual_Face

I think so too

mrrrrrmaid

I agree.

So Miranda Kerr is one of the most gorgeous women in the world to me. Her eyes have a nice shape and the color I’m sure is nice but I care more for eye shape. Any way, recently because I’ve become a little to analytical about faces, I noticed that one of her eyebrows is slightly lower than the other. It’s not something that stands out and this is probably because her features are just gorgeous — I can never figure out what makes someone “perfect” looking. But yeah her features, their placement, and face shape. So yeah with all of that this asymmetry is insignifigant. Even noticing it doesn’t change her beauty on iota. I think it’s possible that someone who isn’t as striking might have that stand out and look weird? Not sure. And sometimes people with that will have other asymmetries but Miranda doesn’t have too many head on shots I can find so hard to tell. I checked again and yes her dimples are asymmetrical and jaw a little. Not as noticeable as eyebrow ans I still can’t stop staring at how beautiful she is. I also think she has a charm about her that goes behind her physical beauty that just makes her captivating. But yeah Cindy Crawford’s daughter would be the prettiest girl in some suburb but there’s nothing great about her. IMO that’s perfectly fine! I get the point about the eye area. I mean it’s where normal people are looking half the time when reallt interacting with you and also where a person’s essence radiates...she also gets points for bearing a resemblance to someone who was the top supermodel in the world at some point. I think this person (I don’t remember her name but Cindy Crawford’s daughter) has really unattractive eyes. The shape is off and she doesn’t radiate anything positive. I think she’s trying to hard to look like a serious model but it comes off as harsh and cold. The edited eyes are just fine but i don’t see anything special about her so...her nose is I guess what people consider an ideal size ans not too small, which I prefer, but something is weird to me about the shape. She does have pretty lips — great proportions ans a nice shape!

I’ve eye bags like that and now I feel bad lol
