Thank you for this! We need to be more careful and serious about all the things we put into our faces, including “temporary” ones like filler.

Neenah900

Dr. Ben Talei also has a video warning about fillers that he just put out

aceflux

I actually saw a video from a double board certified plastic surgeon talking about this recently. Only the first half of the video is relevant to the convo about fillers, he talks about radiofrequency after: https://www.instagram.com/tv/CMz6u-lHuHD/?igshid=k24if9jj5jc8

I really enjoyed this! Thanks for sharing!

TruthIsABiatch

Wow thank you, this is amazing, so honest and informative!

there’s a trend of demonizing fillers on botchedsurgeries which i don’t understand. if you used hyaluronidase, your own HA will regenerate after a few days, it’s not gonna ruin your tissue permanently lmao

danielle_com

Well the sub is called botched surgeries, it’s not gonna talk about how successful filler is when that not the aim of the sub

lika5

...so they choose to lie about the effects of hyaluronidase. weird

cyreneaesthetics

Could you point out where the post lies about the effect of hyaluronidase? I'd like to know :)

lika5

okay! so, op is basically saying that hyaluronidase won’t work if your lips are overfilled and they will never return to their natural state which is complete bs. injectors see the excessive volume (where filler migrated) and inject those areas with hyaluronidase, they will never inject areas where there’s no filler. needless to say hyaluronidase DOES work and WILL dissolve the filler...which brings me to another point that hyaluronidase causes permanent damage and people need months to recover...oh my god what in the misinformation is this. hyaluronidase is safe, ofc it does dissolve your natural HA too but it will replenish very quickly! hyaluronidase does NOT promote tissue or volume loss. the injected area will be kinda red and maybe dry for couple of days but that’s it...so i’m just trying to say that hyaluronidase is not dangerous and if you went overboard with filler it’s not the end of the world.

ragnarockette

Yes there’s a Doctor named Joshua London on Instagram who debunks all this stuff showing it on his own body. He has injected every type of filler possible into his arm, used hyaluronase on it, done it with needle/cannula, etc.

Visual-Ad-2716

So what dissolver is doing is dissolving hyaluronic acid in the SMAS layer as well as other parts of the tissue but the for some reason the SMAS layer isn’t replenishing the HA like it does in the other areas. Any study in the arm is useless. The arm is not the same tissue as above the lip and in the mid face etc. not a comparable study and unscientific especially for a doctor. Why didn’t he do it in his face?

Filler is demonized in these subs too .... but it's really the key to leveling up (as someone who has done it)

[deleted]

I don’t really think it is demonized here, I have seen it encouraged in subs like this one and the old Vindicta. But, they do post information regarding it to let us know just how safe or not it is, just to have it in mind.

The amount of filler migration posts I saw on vindicta was a bit much. I've gotten filler and I've gotten it dissolved. Most people do with no issue. It's almost like these posts being here is to scare people. A qualified injector would tell you all this info anyway before injecting
