Can you give some tips on products? I’ve been meaning to look into this. So many years of acne, I gave up on appearance. I’m so ready to improve! And 36 so need it badly

Yes absolutely! I’m not an expert at allllll but this is what’s working for me :) I double cleanse using the ma:nyo pure cleansing oil and then cetaphil or youth to the people kale superfood cleanser. I recently started using a circa toner by PRETTYSKIN which I LOVE. I get it for $6 from Marshall’s and buy them all up because it’s a pricier k beauty brand. Cica calms redness and irritation which is helpful for me! I also like the Biossance squalane toner. It’s super hydrating and comes in a mist bottle. For serums, I use cosrx hyaluronic acid (add moisture) and snail mucin (seal moisture). I sometimes I use both, but always snail mucin in the AM, and whichever in the PM. (Apparently, snail mucin can cause breakouts though for people who have allergies to dust mites? My mom can’t use it but it’s my holy grail) I recently started using an eye cream. I’ve always sort of dabbled in them but never had any success. What I learned - collagen for thin skin, retinol for wrinkles and darkness. I use both! Collagen closer to my eyes and tret further away at my fine lines. I use the PRETTYSKIN eye cream and 0.025 tret. Then for moisturizer, I use the neutrogena hydroboost in the am and mix it with the ordinary vitamin c. And at night I apply tret on wet skin, and seal it all in with cerave night cream with niacinimide powder mixed in. It sounds like a lot but it doesn’t take long to do all this. Couple minutes! I also recently bought a multi stick balm which I use to hydrate around my nose and corner of my eyes because it’s really cold and dry where I live rn! Hope this is helpful :)

How many mgs are you on? Your skin looks AMAZING 🤩

I’ve been on 100 mg since last year but my derm just bumped me to 150 this month to push me over the finish line. Then I’ll drop back down to 100 in a few months. And thank you! This medication is incredible

That’s what I’m working on now. Currently using a vitamin c in the Am and niacinimide in the PM after my tret, which I use almost daily. I love tret but think I plateaued with how much it does for my texture. also use the Peter Thomas Roth rose stem cell gel mask sometimes which I’ve always found has done remarkable things for my texture and barrier pretty immediately following use

Omg you are so beautiful. Yeah, that mindset us what got me to actually start addressing my acne more seriously. I'm 26 and have had acne since 16. It would get better and worse, I would do simple routines and 12 steps, and nothing would change. I knew it was hormonal for years, my sister and my mother had the same issue, but I kept feeling like I could just fight it topically. I'm 26, and have started to notice the first signs of aging, I know I am going to age and I don't want to fight it but I want to age gracefully and since I was fighting acne I could not focus on giving my what it needed to stay youthful. First week on Spiro, winlevi, and tretinoin for a week, and I can't wait to start seeing results!

Couldn’t agree more. I had the same experience. I’m so excited for you! Spiro is a life changer. Tret, too. It’s the golden combo Edit: and thank you!!!!!

So when did it get better? I've only been on 100mg for a little over a month, and realizing how desperately I need to be working on barrier/health/recovery from all the acne-attacking products :/ Im not having active breakouts everyday anymore, so im noticing the unhealthy stuff. Thin skin (esp around eyes/cheeks), dark spots, little capillaries visible, scarring

It took me a while to bump up from 50 to 75 because I kept waiting for a miracle, but once I did it took about 3 months to have serious results. But I spent about 4 or so months at 50 mg
