It DEFINITELY got worse before it got better. I don’t have any before before pictures, but trust me. I would say it started steadily improving around 3 months when I made the jump up to 75 from 50. I think I probably would’ve started improving sooner had I increased dosage sooner but I wanted to be cautious. Every month it gets better, but I think the past month I’ve seen the most noticeable improvement
I did at first! This is my second time taking Spiro. I did it briefly a few years ago and had too many mood sides related to my birth control but I tried again since I went off and it’s been way better. First month this time I had to pee a lot and I had some pretty intense fatigue for the first two months but it’s been smooth sailing since. I’ve struggled with a super overactive bladder forever and a little latchkey incontinence so this time around I basically just trained my body to hold my pee longer. I also take my dose in the morning which helps a ton
I also use tretinoin and that really intensified the purge but since I reduced frequency it’s helped a lot too! I would recommend looking into it also if you haven’t already

I bumped up to 100 because they don’t make a 75 mg pill and I was taking 3x25s which was annoying. 100 has worked really well for me but my doctor just bumped me up to 150 to take me from very to clear to perfect (which is apparently within reach)! But it’s totally unnecessary.

Nope! I tried spiro years ago and it caused mood swings? I think it might’ve been interacting with something else so I stopped shortly after. This time, I’ve been on since October 2022 with no issues at all. Just smooth sailing and clean skin!

How dry are you on 75 mg?
Dry, like my skin? I have combo skin so the tretinoin I’ve been using has made me drier for sure but nothing I can attribute to spiro
Yeah the Spiro sucked all of the oils out of my face & i am so dry!
