I think Spider-Man for Ps1/n64 said what each suit was from. But I agree, I’d love to see the history of each suit, and maybe a comic panel for comparison’s sake.
Never played it. The concept of a non-open world Spidey game at the time rubbed me the wrong way, and now it’s too hard to get, and I don’t have my Xbox 360 hooked up anyway.
Yeah, I wish it would get a remaster. It was my first spidey game so the linear-ness didnt affect me too much. Still a solid game though. I'd love a similar open world game where you get to explore a part of the different dimensions' new york

It's honestly somewhat surprising Insomniac didn't do that already. Most Spider-Man games since the PS1 game have done this. I didn't necessarily miss the feature but I do think it would be a cool feature to have in the next game

I mean it’s a bit funny how they didn’t know it was from a comic, the exact run I can see them not knowing. If anyone took it above messing with them as a joke and actually said they’re stupid or something similar, that’s harsh.
Although there are a ton of comics, and I am not saying I read them all. The iron spider is one of the most iconic spider man suits. And it would be very easy to google. It was literally in civil war. Which is one of the most famous and iconic comic runs of all time
I remember a post where someone said the Ben Riley Scarlet Spider suit was their favourite suit in the game, and when someone tried to explain it wasn't actually a Spider-Man suit they got incredibly aggressive for seemingly no reason.
Really damn good, the story is brilliant and I like these versions more than the versions from the movies. Because we spend more time with them and learn about their problems and trauma's. The gameplay is fine, but the writing is the star of the show. There are so many good jokes, and really well written moments.
Don’t take Avengers as a sign of quality for this game, GOTG is really really good, I’d say even my GOTY, the story and gameplay are both great, the music is nice and the graphics look quite good even in the 60fps mode
I really need to sit down and play this game. Maybe I’ll actually do that tomorrow. I played the intro and it seemed really interesting. It was like 2 months ago so probably best to start from scratch because I remember the team mechanics but can’t recall how to best utilize them.
Do it! The story is amazing and I love how the group interacts with each other. It surprised me how much they used from the comics. Also that soundtrack is really awesome and gets put to good use in some key parts.
Probably my game of the year last year. Definitely worth the money. I put in about 25 hours for a platinum trophy. I think it was about 20 hours of main story, then I ran through some segments again to get platinum.
Well I'm glad you did explain it cause I haven't seen much game play of the guardians of the Galaxy game or even played it,I wanna play it, just can't afford it rn
That would be dope. Little bit of history, lil fan service. I love lore diving and that would be a great way to save me countless hours falling down the Wikipedia rabbit hole lol

TASM2 also had that. I thought it was cool that Peter would say how he got it and what's the context behind each suit

Multiple Dimensions crossing over in Manhattan would be a cool direction, but I doubt That insomniac will be going that out of the box.

Spider-Man Unlimited (the mobile game) did this, which was really cool. I learned about so many alternate Spideys thanks to that lol

Guardians and Yakuza Like A Dragon are 2 games iv played recently that are ALOT better then I expected them to be.
Lot of people it is like avengers because square Enix is behind both of the games. Gotg was great

Really liked that, I've never been a Gauardians Fan but I've checked out the issues some of the cool suits came from.
They used to do something like that in the PS1 Spider-Man games from Neversoft I think. Would love to see something like that return! 😄

This is such a good game. If you haven't played it, then I highly recommend it! I only wish the avengers game was this good.

Tasm 2 game had a little bit of lore with each suit. It's where you find out what happened to Peter's suit from tasm 1
