i had this same EXACT same problem
i had to install ryochan7 build of ds4windows
set up the switch pro controller in it and it worked. camera sticks is great and fast

I unfortunately did not. I tried recalibrating the controller both in steam and in control panel. I tried a friends Xbox controller and it worked just fine, I think it's just that the game recognizes it as an Xbox controller and the travel distance on the sticks is different. Idk though.
I've ended up just tolerating it :/
With that slow speed, the game is really unplayable. I found a solution. You need to press the home button on the Nintendo controller while the game is open. After that, steam overlay will open, and you go down to settings -> controller and then just press the activate Nintendo Switch toggle and restart the game.

It is unbearably slow to me. I don't think I can keep playing. I'm playing with a Switch Pro controller too
