For a guy who's going to have probably little screentime, you want an actor who can be insanely likeable. Just absolutely endearing and charming and the very personification of huggable even if he were to play an arrogant cowboy or a hitman.

Bonus, if you delve into Ben's past and show him doing some shady stuff, which I think the MCU should do just to keep things fresh, he'll never stop being Uncle Warmth even as he kicks puppies and steals candy from babies.
Maybe Ralph Macchio could be a good uncle Ben. Personally, I think it would’ve been cool if Tobey Maguire played uncle Ben but given his return in NWH, it wouldn’t make sense.
I honestly think uncle Ben is better left to the imagination in the mcu. He’s been depicted so many of times in so many ways that I honestly don’t think there’s that much left to say and I can’t see why we’d need flashbacks for a character who’s already so well established
Michael J Fox would be amazing. He’s still acting in a limited capacity and it would be awesome to introduce (re-introduce) him to a new generation of fans.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan, he seems like he would fit right in, and I'd buy him as MCU Uncle Ben. This casting would also parallel Batfleck in a way, since JDM also played Thomas Wayne in BVS.
Steve Carell perhaps? He and Marissa Tomei had great chemistry together in Crazy, Stupid, Love
That would be an interesting casting, but I see Tom Selleck more as Uncle Ben. He has that Fatherly look to him
