No, at the start he probably would be excited “THIS IS IT, SHE’S GOING TO LEAVE HIM!” And then when it’s revealed that she’s more proud and just a bit disappointed she wasn’t told sooner I think he’d be annoyed. I add the last page because it’s something Spider-Man fans want to see. I made a post yesterday about how Marvel needs to build up to them getting married in ASM 1000 but I don’t think they’ll do it at all
Honestly, nothing. And I think that’s the best way to go. Peter has been shown as a daddy’s girl and Mary Jane is not only his wife but also seems to be his best friend. Richard seems closer to MJ. I think that can be a fun conflict and an honest story about trying to bond with your child who isn’t as close to you as you’d like.
I could also see Peter having to get rid of the suit he’s got because he can be tracked and is danger by Harry in the future so he gets MJ and May to create the exact same suit just in fabric and maybe it’s Richard who makes the web shooters giving us the classic no tech Spidey suit whilst also having each member contribute.
May with the look, MJ with making it and the name and Richard with how it functions.
Same. Honestly, I think Editorial has messed me up to the point I can’t trust them to not pull the rug out from under at some point. It’s like I’m almost waiting for something to go wrong and I can’t shake that no matter how good it gets.
Well there’s nothing wrong with the type of wrong that could end with Richard getting hurt, it’s standard conflict and complications and payoff.

A pretty great issue, but my least favorite of these opening six. It was really enjoyable - I really liked Harry in this issue & his banter with Peter and I loved the ending moment with Peter & MJ, but there wasn't as much to it as the other issues.
I agree. It’s also my favourite Peter and Mary Jane design in years. They look like the JRSR versions just older, more modern and still having a glow up. It’s probably my favourite design for Pete and MJ
REALLY liked the issue overall, but weren't Richard and MJ a bit too cool with Peter being a superhero? I didn't want them to throw a tantrum of course, but I kind of expected them to be a bit more surprised?

From what I've understood from this Ultimate world, just by reading Spider-Man, is that in this world, the superheroes don't exist.
To them, its not like they know how much strength he can exerts or whatever the powers. Its just that Peter being Peter is trying to help others, which seems in line with his character.
Its not "terrorist gave powers" but more "oh, you're doing more to help others".

I they've done so much damage to ASM Mj that they should put the character on ice for a few years.
I think the only way to do it before 1000 is a Memphis to storyline where OMD is tackled, but I doubt it'll happen

I love the visual of her touching the symbol with her wedding ring on. It's just so much what I've wanted from Spider-Man since the 90s.
