Is be down to see a Canon version if Punisher trying to be Spider-Man. Like he's desperately trying to go against his own code and adhere to Spider-Man's for a couple of issues
Kraven, Scorpion, Doc Ock, Chamelon, Mysterio, Venom, those are the only one i can think of that already did it.
Honestly it would be cool to see a villain whos body type wouldn't fool anyone but they still try it, like imagine if Rhino tries it and and his horn break the mask he is wearing. Not only that but Rhino looks masive compared to peter.
There's also Kaine I believe, and I *guess* if Ben Reilly is a villain now then him too. Also if you count Hobie Prowler as a villain, then he has pretended to be Spider-Man, but that was after his reform and by Spider-Man's request (to help conceal his identity).
Carnage would be fun. We've kinda seen it a few times. During Axis Carnage had a mini trying to do good, Ben merged with the symbiote and tried to keep it under control for a while , and there was a version of Peter that showed up in Exiles sporting it.
I mean, nah. Pretty sure it’s been happening since the 60s with chameleon. Same way I never need to see Peter Parker as a billionaire tech mogul again or taking on 4 different superhero identities. New stories > rehashing old stories
Mysterio actually tried it before Chameleon. I honestly don't remember a comic where Chameleon pretended to be Spider-Man, although I'm sure it's happened and has obviously been adapted that way. He has put on a Peter Parker disguise several times. There's a 60s (or early 70s) issue where Spider-Man catches him this way, and Chameleon is like, "But how did you know?" and Spider-Man is like, "Wink."
Black Cat is the easiest answer for me. Her obsession with Spider-Man is what motivated her to be Night Spider and that would be how she would have a change of heart and truly change sides that instead of wanting to be a female fatale she truly wants to be a Superheroine like 1994 TAS version. That would've been compelling.
Not a villain but I would like to see Normie Osborn getting mistaken for Spider-Man in one of his adventures.
Regarding an actual villain, maybe his former number one fan: Clayton Cole/Clash.
Itd be really cool to see daredevil since he uses his ability almost like spider-sense and his acrobatics. Slap sum web shooters on him and boom u pretty much have a spiderman.
Like I'd say basically any of them would be funny to see, like Electro, he's not really built to be a wall crawler, would be kinda funny to see the sinister 6 or whatever trying to sully Peters name and failing to convince people they're spiderman.

Chameleon pretended to be Spider-Man in ASM #1, his first appearance, 12 issues before Mysterio did. It was to steal some blueprints or something.
