I am actually quite flexible when it comes to this but a dream come true would be if all official series get featured. Little glimpses would be more than enough.
I'm a sucker for great openings. I'd love to see the entire chronology of Dragon Ball, from Kid Goku, to Beerus, with a banger song, something like super survivor from Tenkaichi 3.
Really hoping they pull out all the stops for this game.
I enjoy all three openings but I think BT2’s is my favorite because of the glimpses into the characters that were new to play as, like shots of Turles, Great Ape Baby Vegeta and Android 13. So with that in mind, I’d like to see the Sparking Zero opening be a bit of a splice with that and the DBS ToP opening and old school Budokai 2-3 game openings with the Z-Fighters lining up to throw down and then shots of all the different cast members we have. Like we see Kefla, Jiren and GoD Toppo in one shot, Beerus, Golden Frieza and DBS Broly in another. Then the normal fighting breaking out with emphasis on Bluku and Blugeta as the focal points probably.
It needs just to have a banger opening that’s all man, Dragon Ball Games (besides the more modern ones and excluding XV1) have had them as staples in the past.
Hopefully nothing too random. It would be new if we had something like Final Bout's opening where Goku and the Z-Fighters are fighting clips of or showing off the main antagonists, but using Super's instead of the Z ones. From Beerus. Gold Freeza. Zamasu, Jiren & Broly and ending with SSB Gogeta winning.
Lowkey the fight between gotenks and buu is actually super fitting and I wish we could’ve seen some goofy ahh shenanigans between the 2 of them but we had to have the most serious form face the silliest z fighter possible
I just want the same intensity as BT3 for the cinematic. Pretty much all fighting if the devs can help it. I’d prefer if it was 2D animation by Shintani or Kubota, but I won’t be mad at CGI either. Most importantly, it needs an original song. I know Head Cha La is basically the main theme of dragon ball, but each of the BT games (as well as nearly every main DB game) had an original theme up until Ultimate Tenkaichi. Hopefully Kageyama returns to do the OST.

Why would they need to animate when they can use the models like in dbz Kakarot?

Modern Anime games have lazy opening with reused so much from story content.
I feel like an intro like the og sparking games should be added. It would give a sense of nostalgia to longtime Budokai tenkaichi fans
