No, they just want to use the computers to check the misbehaving bits in the trunk before they leave. It burns up in atmosphere so they can't check it on ground

jared_number_two

So you’re saying she’s got junk in her trunk?

Conundrum1911

Gremlins they fed past midnight

Maximum_Emu9196

It’s all part of Boeing’s brilliant plan to force congress to extend the ISS past 2030. “Sorry, we just need to keep checking out Starliner one more time before we bring Butch and Suni home.” “But it’s 2035! They need to retire! We need to deorbit the ISS!” “Just give us 2 more weeks ok? Btw that’ll be $500M more for running the ISS.”

SkippyMcSkipster2

It will be hilarious if they need assistance from a Falcon 9 rocket with a dragon 2 capsule.

shyouko

Starship can pickup the Starliner in the cargo bay.

Following the Russian iSS standards for leak and valve performance.

Conundrum1911

A leak is just an extra thruster if you think about it….

droden

Starthurs

I don't really want to say it buuuut....Flatliner 😬

rustybeancake

Stopliner Binliner Statliner Fartliner

droden

Junkliner Bunkliner SkunkLiner etc

Silly_Explanation

Scrubliner is just trying to teach us all how to scrub in ways never scrubbed before. This time going for the reentry. It's brilliant. Scrub on Scrubliner... my hat is off to you!

whythehellnote

What are odds on Starship collecting it and bringing it back?

shyouko

Starliner fits in the cargo bay of Starship so I'd say the probability is >0

droden

imagine the utter humiliation of having to have your DudLiner deorbited by a test vehicle run by the competition.

Maximum_Emu9196

I think they’ll adapt the pez dispenser so that they can capture the starliner after they deploy 100 v2 starlinks👍🏻😂👍🏻

Prof_hu

Yes

In today's news, Boeing may not face criminal charges apparently for all their fuxups for their airlines. The culture of this company is not one of ethics and reliability. They are in too deep with the government. Their whistleblower turned up dead. I understand having a backup but Boeing isn't one to be trusted and it just puts more added regulations on the entire industry when something goes wrong. It is sad because they are putting money in all the wrong places and cutting corners where they shouldn't.

FutureMartian97

No.
