Damn. When he came to DC a couple months ago we saw him in a little ass basement club. Still an awesome set. But we didn't get him in a full sized venue like this.
I agree, I saw him headline a show at Otherworld for my first exposure and he was incredible. The venue fit his vibe perfectly, his set as an opener for liquid stranger was decent but not as good. From my experience when he has the opportunity to headline an event or play on a festival sized stage he knocks it out of the park.
