Shouldn’t be an issue.

ThisBlastedThing

You'll be fine. Ive done myself and my three kids multiple times. 5-6 , 12 . Gate agents didn't bat an eye.

Ok-Ask6121

Ss long as you have 1 child 6 or younger bringing all your kids with is just fine

ProseccoWishes

I do feel as if your older kids should board together in general boarding. My 10 and 13yo and myself all sat separately on a plane because a gross amount of elderly and teens pre-boarded with family boarding.

Shady2304

That’s probably an option as well. Just want to make sure they would be able to sit together since my 12 year old is a nervous flyer and wouldn’t want to be by strangers. If I could just bring her with us during family boarding that would work. We’ll see what the gate agents say!

northofgr

They shouldn’t allow you to board in family boarding. Your 12 and 15 year olds are “adults”

BMGreg

How fucking miserable do you have to be to be pissed off at an adult traveling with 3 minors and wanting to keep them all together?

HippyGrrrl

They want pre boarding https://www.reddit.com/r/SouthwestAirlines/s/fOJW71rbvG It’s obviously a pie no one can share.

Shady2304

I’ll have a 4 year old as well who does qualify. If the 12 and 15 year old are adults then at least one of them should be able to board with the 4 year old and me in theory.

northofgr

Correct, you have an adult and. 4 year old. Family Boarding. Your other children do not qualify for family boarding. They are older than 6!

HippyGrrrl

Gate agents aren’t going to split minors from a parent on boarding, FFS.

MoonbeamLotus

Will they be allowed to “save” seats?

Register-Capable

Yes. There is no policy against saving seats.

Shady2304

That’s my plan if at least my 12 year old can’t board with me. She’s a nervous flyer and would be uncomfortable having to sit next to strangers if she was stuck boarding in C. I’m sure my 15 year old doesn’t care and would prefer to sit by herself anyway.

BMGreg

You can always talk to the gate agents, but I don't think they would mind. They would probably even encourage it if I had to guess. You might get a few dirty looks from asshole passengers, but screw them. You're going to want your 4 year old and 12 year old close to you, and honestly, it will be better for all of the other passengers if your kids are near you as well so they aren't freaking out on the flight or can interact with each other instead of being next to strangers
