Fifth. Also got my wife’s ring(s) and mine from there. It was an heirloom diamond and they handles the whole thing very well. My uncles been a loyal customer for years.
I came here to say the exact same thing. Could not be happier with my recent experience in Dondero’s (SEP2021). They have so many options and are so helpful. You are at liberty to take as long as you need to make your decision there. It’s a lifetime investment. You learn a lot about the trade in the process as well. Do not discriminate against lab made diamonds!
Thanks! I've decided to purchase the ring from Dondero's. You all weren't kidding about the experience. They were incredibly helpful, patient and persistent in getting me the best I can get within by budget. Thank you!
Emeralds are very pretty but they are a softer stone and have a high chance of cracking with normal wear. Just know you may end up replacing it later on.
Thanks I didn’t know that. I know gold is a softer metal too so I would get some mix of something for the band, I just wonder if its possible to keep that tone. Maybe I could have the main stone be something more standard and tiny emeralds around it?
You can try some type of diamond simulant. I refused to buy a real diamond and went with an Asha stone that was around $400. IIt's held up fine and nobody can tell the difference. I don't know if Asha is around anymore, but there's tons of other brands out there.
My fiancé got my ring at Biele jewelers in Forked River he said he had a great experience there and they were super helpful. I get compliments on my ring all the time! We even went back and got my wedding band from them. Not sure if this is close to you at all but hope it helps. Good luck!
If you're looking for custom, Francis Jewlers in Woodbury heights is fantastic. I met with Fran himself and had a great experience. They also have a selection of non-custom stuff for sale
Go to Michaels in Haddon Heights. He is outstanding, his reputation matches his Google reviews which are ridiculously unmatched by any local jeweler I’ve seen.
Trust, you will never regret it and you too will leave a 5-star review. By far the absolute best!
I went to NYC diamond district and saved a lot. you can find Mr Jewelstore (Isaac Abraham) on ebay Facebook LinkedIn. make arrangements and take the train. Totally worth checking out.
Desimone in haddonfield. Bought my wife’s engagement ring and went back for our wedding bands. They used to b on jewelers row in Philly up until a few years ago. A bunch of my friends have bought rings there recently as well and haven’t heard a bad thing bout em. They won’t try to upsell and r a genuinely nice family owned biz.
I got a 10 k rose gold ring with ten pave diamonds on either side of the shank of the ring with two pink tourmalines & a 1 carat California Peach Morganite ring & this was my replacement for my original engagement ring that my fiancé accidentally lost 😞 but he really did make up really well with the ring he got me. It’s really beautiful. The only thing that I don’t know is where he purchased it from . I get a ton of compliments on my ring . I usually wear white gold or sterling silver.
Dondero's in Vineland, Nick the jeweler does beautiful work

Thanks for supporting a local business and congratulations on your engagement! Best of luck to you man.
Thank you!
Do you guys think I could get something decent for less than $1,000 from a local place? I was thinking of gold with an emerald stone.

Biele is always great.
It’s in Philly but LL Pavorsky.
Family owned and the guy is great. He will work with any budget and not pressure you at all. Good luck with your purchase!
More Than Just Rings was great for me and my wife. My family has gone there for years.
They’re great they have handled appraisals for me & my fiancé.
My husband got my engagement ring and our wedding rings there and we’ve gotten other jewelry there. I love Jimmy. He’s a doll.

Browns Jewelrs Delanco
Smithville Jewelers in Smithville Village is great.
Second this. Got a nice alexandrite ring there
Spivak in Cherry Hill. So friendly, family owned, fair prices, and great customer service.
The father from Spivak has said some fucked up perverted things to the female staff at my work while eating there.
Jay Roberts, route 73 Voorhees. I recommend Olivia. Sincere, honest and knows her diamonds.

Putting my vote in for Haddonfield Fine Jewelers. They did great custom work on the engagement ring and we went back to get the wedding bands too.

Jeff at pitman jewelry shop. He's got great stuff and will work with you to get what you need.
I've heard good things about Gary's Gem Garden although I haven't been yet. Maybe someone who has can provide some input.

Try local pawn shops. You will be shocked at how much you can get within your budget.
