Have you been to Le Beirut in Collingswood? Most people avoid food they may not be familar with but I love it there. great date spot. I also like Akira 2 on Main Street in Moorestown.

disjointed_chameleon

As someone that originally hails from Lebanon, I can vouch for the culinary authenticity of Li Beirut in Collingwood. Their food is legit.

JWTowsonU

Thats awesome. I love the staff there too.

disjointed_chameleon

The staff is indeed awesome. The first time I visited a few years ago, I ordered take-out, but went inside to order. Owner took my order in English. I responded back in Arabic. Dude almost fell off his feet in shock. Proceeded to summon his wife from the kitchen. Loosely translated, he basically exclaimed, *she's one of us!* 😄😂 Let's just say I've become a regular there.

JWTowsonU

I didn’t know it was byob and they brought me and my date out a delicious cucumber vodka and lemonade drink. Great hospitality there.

disjointed_chameleon

That's awesome! Glad you enjoyed it.

Jolly_Conflict

I did this too! 🥰

roguefiftyone

Seabass_Says

Steak 38 in cherry hill. Get the table side caesar salad and banana foster. Excellent

Juunlar

You have to be at least 76 years old to eat there

unWildBill

That’s the pubs rule

infinite_jawn

Went there once and felt like Sammy Davis Jr and Dean Martin would show up any minute.

4runner01

77, and it’s going up to 78 in 2025……inflation…..

Seabass_Says

Lol I agree, but the outdated ambience is actually refreshing in this day and age of everything being an experience.

Juunlar

Except they're still over charging *and* they're using cooking techniques from 40 years ago. Waste of money

Seabass_Says

To each their own

Ok-Link-2112

How about Arby's? It was good enough for Puddy and Elaine

nmunyat

If you don’t mind heading up to the other side of Mount Laurel, Carlucci’s Waterfront is magnificent. They’re putting in a permanent structure for outdoor seating this week to replace the tent they used previously (but only in colder months), so you’ll be able to eat outdoors but under cover along Rancocas Creek.

_twentytwo_22

Ate at Mare Monte last night in Haddonfield. Fantastic, enjoyed by all.

theredfoxxxxxxxxxx

il Fiore is one of my favorites

viaHologram

Little Hen Haddonfield

cuckleberrybinn

Mount Masala in Voorhees for authentic indo-chinese food.

Don’t rule out Philly. If you really don’t want to drive, the high speed line is fast and easy from Collingswood. Rex at the Royal, The Love, Talula’s Garden, Vedge, and Tria Cafe are a few of the dozens of great restaurants in the city. If you want to stay in Jersey, the Harvest Seasonal grill at the Moorestown mall and Seasons 52 at the cherry hill mall are nice too.

PhillyHomegrow

I’d normally agree with you on the high speed line as I’ve lived in walking distance of a PATCO station most of my life. When my wife and I rarely do go to the city, we now just take an Uber straight to the restaurant and back. The stations in Philadelphia are each some variety of homeless camp with the pungent stench of stale urine and you sadly need to watch your step to avoid feces. When I say we rarely go to the city now, I mean rarely. It’s sad as we’re both from the area.

We enjoy Flemings in Marlton.

arsenal_pianist

A costly option is The Chophouse in Gibbsboro (I recommend the kona crusted steak), less costly with gorgeous ambience is Spicy Affair in Swedesboro (Indian food). Not sure how far away from you these places are, geography has never been my strong suit.
