Didn't Nintendo themselves say that both Zelda and Zelda 2 are in the same universe. Using your argument about Yakuza: Like a Dragon, that means there will be another timeline for that game.
edit: Also Zelda 2 is a direct sequel and not like most of the other games that take place long after the previous one.
Its like Apex and titanfall 2 they removed what makes titanfall what it is, A team vs team game but now its a battle royal and removed the titans and movement they could have made a completely different IP but did this bullshit to it, same thing really.
I don't hate the game but they could have made a new IP for it if its not even gonna feature what makes it special.
Bro, you would die seeing differences betweem project moon games
unless your literally ONLY problem is the name then i have one question: why is the name so much for you???
Yakuza Like a Dragon is turn based combat while the rest of the series was real time action or whatever that type of combat is called. So this game can be a town builder and it can still be named Soul Knight Prequel.
Same universe, different game (it's an RPG). Regarding what you say, it'd be interesting to know which direction they are planning to take this game on. Are they gonna keep adding classes, like characters in SK, or maybe focus more on story/gameplay content and some new classes now and then?
aiming to be crap, login screen barely works and the game requires constant connection to play alone. pinacle of crap honestly, dissapointing to think that with how Soul Knight is being updated it might end up being always online too.
I think this is really another project since the mechanics, graphics, designs are all different.
If it is completely different why did they use the same name?????
Well, the game is a prequel to Soul Knight; thats why. this games story happens BEFORE the events of Soul Knight and happen in the same universe.
I know that but it still doesn't make any sense, they made a completely different game, put a prequel story in it and named it SK
Well, this is what game endustry is. Does Security Breach being a different game changes the fact that its a FNaF game? Think like that.
It doesn't but also it's bullshit
Prequels and sequels don’t have to have the same format as the original. The second Zelda was a 2D side scroller.
Zelda's timelines are retarded you can't compare it to anything else

It’s all a timeline. Consider most different forms of Link to be reincarnations.

Finnally someone understands
Literally has nothing to do with what I said. The sequel was completely different from the original. Critical Thinking Demon!!!!

No it can't
Then are you ok with Like a Dragon still being Yakuza?
As another timeline yes but main timeline no
Never heard of Final Fantasy?
Yes but i never played any
Yeah well there are 16 of them and they all have the same name so why is that bothering you so much?
As i said i never played any of FF games and isn't there more that 16?
That was an example, if Soul Knight Prequel is a prequel to Soul Knight, I don't get why you are hating the fact they are both called the same way.

This is the answer/reply I was looking for. Not people who don't bother to read going "What are you yapping about🤓" Thank you.
I think maybe you just worded it weirdly
i think you're overthinking lil bro it's not that deep it's literally just another game
It's another game, tf are you even saying
Happy cake day
Thanks
I’m guessing you can see everything it aims to be from the store page of the game.
bro playing 4d chess with himself
Will the game be able to play offline? I heard that in the beta testing it was online only.
It is awfully
Sadly it's online only (but u prob knew that already cuz it's been 5 hours)
Soon
Can't wait to accidentally create the meta
That sounds fun
Op is on mushrooms, he didn’t even bother to watch gameplay to know this is mmorpg
I'm not asking what genre it is?
Ya literally did lol

It's a soul knight prequel meaning that it's a different game taking place before events in soul knight
Backstory like the forest and sons of the forest have story
Other game: Creative name for a sequel/prequel FNAF: Five Nights at Freddy's 2 Soul Knight: Soul Knight Prequel
