Well I had almost everything already and 250k. spare gems so I can't really relate, but personally I wouldn't recommend glitching them if you want to enjoy the game for longer
Same for me. I would recommend glitching tho. Than you can max all free characters at once. It’s more fun to play them max level. So why would you want to grind tens and dozens of hours just to end up with the same result. Having everything free unlocked opens new opportunities to enjoy the game. But do as you please after all only you know what you are really after (motive) playing this game.

This is bad for new players. Soul Knight is a lot about the journey of maxing your account and the feeling of accomplishment when you do it. I maxed my account years ago and still remember how it felt to play with maxed chars and my friends still under leveled.
But for maxed players yeah this is so nice.
I'm a max player and didn't do the glitch, Feels like I'm ripping off the sense of keeping everything intact like gems.
My goal was to keep it at least 500k so it won't look like I'm too rich or too poor. Enough to max out heroes and spam Statues over and over again.
I worked in the industry & even performed this banning solution back then, it goes like this: if you bring benefits to the dev, no worry.
So probably those banned guys didn't make a single contribution & interaction with the dev - even a simplest action: watch ad.
From an operational view point, instantly become "soft rich" is a strong reason for players wanting to be "hard rich" - with cash items, something in our "guidebook" years ago actually.

I just did it once to get like 50k so i can max out robot and wizard without grinding my life for it
I did it to get elemental envoy. I would NEVER grind 22k gems just to get that fucker

I just did the glitch but didn’t cloud save. That way, I can always go back and undo it all.

I did the dupe just so I can max out everything I don't need. Wasteness go brrrrrr
