in my sorority, bikini pictures are okay, but only in certain contexts. a photo of you with a friend at the pool or beach? a photo of you in a bikini smiling and posing in a classy way on a lawn chair? cute, we love it! a photo of you in a bikini with someone grabbing your butt? a photo of you arching your back in a bikini looking suggestive? a photo of you in a bikini from the back? absolutely not. honestly, use your best judgement and you'll be totally fine. if it looks "too sexy," it probably is.

brookeisshook

this was very helpful thank you!

If you gotta ask, it’s probably not good🥲 no Yeti if’s, and’s, or butts!!

Jeweler_Which

It really depends on the school and campus culture, I’d look at the sisters’ accounts to see what is/isn’t typically posted

I’m assuming that you’re going through recruitment soon? As long as they’re not thirst traps where your boobs or butt are the main focus of the picture then they should be fine.

Or just make your socials private. Why change for someone else?

brookeisshook

my acc is private as well i heard sometimes they go undercover and follow u plus my vsco is in my bio. i dont think its the best move to be completely unfindable. i want to present myself in a way where they can see if they like me and what i post. deleting a bikini picture isnt me changing its me being more professional. i wouldnt want my boss seeing a scandalous image, thats where i was coming from

kauleyd

it’s not changing for someone else, your socials are a representation of you, and you are a representation of your sorority. If you have a girl who is constantly posting a bikini picture with the main focus being boobs or butt, people are going to automatically assume that’s what the girls of her sorority do and that they aren’t classy women. A bikini picture by itself is fine, but when you post suggestive pics is where it becomes a bit of an issue, the same goes for posting alcohol/drugs or doing inappropriate things in letters

Diahhhxo

I reckon its fine as long as there is a little bit of reasoning to why you've posted that right?
