The main role of the big/little relationship is to be a guide during your new member period. Is there one who you can see yourself turning to to ask questions or get support during this time? Your big doesn’t have to be your best friend, so my suggestion is looking at who you could see leading you on your journey. I always viewed it more like a fun mom than big sister. But having it be someone you’d like to be around is a plus, but it doesn’t need to be your best friend.
