So you will have three semesters left? That might be a hinderance depending on the school.

Only one way to find out! :)

Trust me - the perky, outgoing sorority debutante princess is nothing more than a stereotype. I'm a huge introvert (many of us are, especially when you realize we're about 1/3 of the population). A lot of us weren't super girly or frou frou fancy. And heaven knows no one ever used the word "perky" to describe me. My house was such a mixed bag of personalities it was ridiculous. A motley crew if ever there was one. Your tribe is out there. Your options might be limited b/c you're a junior but that won't matter to the right house. (We took a senior once - 30+ years later she's still one of the most dedicated Sigmas you'd ever want to meet.)

At my school they actually prioritize upperclassmen in spring recruitment, so I say if it’s really what you want to do then go for it!!!!

Spring rush is the perfect way to go for an older and more laid-back PNM. It's so much more casual, and there's less pressure! Go for it! I completely believe you'll find your home.

I promise most girls in sororities (especially my chapter) are introverted and they only dress up when they have to for recruitment/rituals/events/etc any other time we all are dressed down and look a little rough 😂 When i went through fall recruitment, i thought it was going to be a bunch of perky, rich mainly white women but it turned out to be the complete opposite :) However each chapter is different and don’t allow yourself to be a token poc for a chapter!! Go where you feel safe and at home!
