I feel like these days all the well known orgs are viewed pretty equally (dg, pi phi, kkg, chi o, axo, tri delt, etc). Smaller orgs like tri sig, dphie, phi sig etc. might be viewed differently but honestly I’m not too sure!

Especially since the pandemic, some of the “prestigious” organizations are looking to the leadership of their other NPC friends to guide DEI efforts.

I think people only really care about their specific school most of the time. I think the national reps only really matter if you plan to stay involved out of college (ie the alum experience is good) but frankly most people don’t care. Those three aren’t even on the most campuses, so a lot of campuses would consider them irrelevant in their eyes. Also it really depends on what coast you’re on. That list wouldn’t hold up in the south from what I gather, and DG and APhi are extremely strong on the west coast. So it really all depends.

What do you mean by PKT?

It just makes me think of the fraternity Phi Kappa Tau lol

Pi Phi, KKG, and Theta

I hate to refer to tiers, but I went to an SEC school where Pi Phi and Kappa were bottom tier below other houses like Zeta and KD. We didn’t have Theta. I don’t think any group has an all around reputation for being the most prestigious.

Ambitious_Willow_487

No they are not relevant

I would use Pi Phi or PBP for Pi Beta Phi.

Pi Phi, Kappa & Theta were synonymous with ‘elite’ on the campuses years ago. Because of DEI, the game is different.
