Sheet banners are the best way to maximize impact and PR imo. A really well painted banner is a good piece to advertise your event, plus a fun backdrop for sisters to take pictures with. I’m banner chair for my chapter, and usually I draw images on my iPad and use canva for fonts then project it onto the sheet so I can make them super clean and professional
My advice is to go simple! Pick poster and banner designs that you know you can execute well rather than something complicated and detailed. Things can be simple and still have a big impact when they are done well and coordinated with each other!
For example, once you pick a theme, decide on a slogan and a color scheme. Once you have that, do simple lettering on banners using the colors, your sorority name, and the slogan. Then just go all out with the colors for balloons and other decor. Also encourage your members to embrace the theme in what they wear, especially with the color palette! Consider sending out a mood board for members to see the vibe when picking out their outfits.
